Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your thermostat, try these solutions:

  • Display is blank: Check the circuit breaker and reset if necessary. Ensure the power switch for the heating and cooling system is on. Verify the furnace door is securely closed.
  • "Waiting for equipment" appears: This indicates the compressor protection feature is active. Wait approximately 5 minutes for the system to restart safely.
  • Temperature settings do not change:
    • If the display shows "unlock," a lockout setting has been applied by the thermostat owner.
    • Verify you are in the correct mode (Heat, Cool, Auto, or Em Heat).
    • If in the correct mode but unable to adjust temperature within the expected range (e.g., Heat 40°F-90°F, Cool 50°F-99°F), range-stops may be set by the installer. Consult your installer.
