Important Safety Information

General Warnings

• Read all instructions completely before use.
• This appliance is suitable for use in a bathtub or shower.
• For safety reasons, this appliance can only be operated cordless.
• Detach the appliance from the power supply before using it with water.
• Use only the special cord set provided with your appliance. Do not exchange or manipulate any part of it due to risk of electric shock.
• If the appliance is marked 492, it can be used with any Braun power supply 492-XXXX.
• Never use the appliance with any damaged accessory like trimmers, combs, or the special cord set.
• Do not open the appliance. It contains non-replaceable batteries.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards.
• If equipped with a hair clipping attachment, children aged 3 years and above can use it for hair clipping under supervision.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
• For household use only.

Cautions

• Keep the power supply and charging stand dry.
• The trimmer head / body trimmer head must only be used with a comb attachment in delicate areas.
• The body groomer head must only be used on dry skin and not in delicate areas.
• Avoid introducing the ear & nose trimmer head more than 5 mm into the nose or ear.
• Recommended ambient temperature for charging: 5 °C to 35 °C. Battery may not charge properly at extreme temperatures.
• Recommended ambient temperature for trimming: 15 °C to 35 °C.
• Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 50 °C for extended periods.
• To maintain optimal performance, oil the trimmer and foils regularly with a drop of light machine oil (not included).

The guarantee is void if unauthorized repairs are performed or if non-original Braun parts are used.
