Hardware Overview

UniFi 6 Lite Access Point:

• PoE Port: Connects to the network and receives power via PoE.
• Reset Button: Used to reset the device to factory defaults.
• LED Indicator: Shows the status of the access point.

Dimensions:

• Diameter: 160 mm (6.30")
• Height: 32.7 mm (1.29")

Mounting Hole Diameter: 6 mm (Ø1/4")

Mounting Bracket Diameter: 18 mm (Ø11/16")

Installation

Step 1: Connect to Network and Power

Connect the UniFi 6 Lite to a PoE-enabled switch or a PoE injector using an Ethernet cable. The PoE port is located on the back of the device.

Step 2: Mount the Access Point

Ceiling Mount:

1. Place the mounting bracket on the ceiling.
2. Mark the screw locations.
3. Drill holes and insert anchors if necessary.
4. Secure the bracket with screws.
5. Align the UniFi 6 Lite with the bracket and twist clockwise to lock it in place.

Wall Mount:

1. Follow the same steps as the ceiling mount, adjusting for wall installation.

Software Setup

Step 1: Download the UniFi Network Application

Download and install the UniFi Network application from the Ubiquiti website or your mobile device's app store.

Step 2: Discover and Adopt the Access Point

1. Ensure your mobile device or computer is connected to the same network as the UniFi 6 Lite.
2. Open the UniFi Network application.
3. The application will discover the UniFi 6 Lite.
4. Click 'Adopt' to add the access point to your UniFi network.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

LED Status Indicators

• Blue: Adopted and working properly.
• Flashing Blue: Booting up or provisioning.
• White: Factory defaults, not adopted.
• Flashing White: Attempting to adopt.
• Off: No power.
