· INSTALL RACK AND LOAD BICYCLES ONLY AT A SAFE DISTANCE AWAY FROM MOVING TRAFFIC. · MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF RACK AND BICYCLES ARE CARRIED AT A SAFE DISTANCE FROM ROAD AND HOT EXHAUST. · ONLY OPERATE VEHICLE WITH RACK IN AN UPRIGHT, LOCKED POSITION. · BICYCLES SHOULD NEVER EXTEND BEYOND THE SIDE OF VEHICLE DURING TRANSPORT. · REMOVE RACK FROM CAR WHEN NOT IN USE.

Tools Required: 1 - 6mm Hex ea renc inclu e 1 - 19mm Wrench, or Adjustable Wrench (not included)

STEP

Line up the Center Hole on the Hitch Insert Support [A] with the hole on the Hitch Insert Base [B]. Pass the M12 x 150 Bolt [C] through a M12 Washer [D] and then through the Center Hole. Once the bolt has passed all the way through both sides of the large plate attached to the Support Arm, slide an M12 Washer [D] over the threads of the bolt and fully tighten the M12 Lock Nut [E] onto the bolt using tools noted above.

IMPORTANT! It is critical that the nut and bolt are fully tightened so that threads pass through the locking insert inside of nut as shown in [Fig 1a] below, but still allowing tilt and fold up operation to work freely.
