1. Product Usage
Shrink packaging is a highly effective packaging method. It utilizes plastic shrink film to wrap products or boxes, then heats the film to conform tightly to the items. This process enhances product appearance, improves aesthetics, and increases value. Packaged items are sealed, protected from corrosion and pollution, and shielded against external shocks, preventing fragmentation, especially for containers. This machine is versatile and can be used for packaging metal items, chemicals, commodities, books, and more.
2. Performance Characteristic
This machine performs cutting, sealing, and shrinking in a single operation. It features a durable stainless steel heat sink for heating. The energy-saving effect exceeds 15%. Operation and control are managed directly from the control panel. A cycle blower within the chamber rapidly shrinks the film, achieving satisfactory contraction results. A key advantage is its compatibility with a variety of shrink films.

5. Operating Steps
5.1 Pre-boot Operation
- When placing the machine, avoid collisions.
- The machine operates on 220V single-phase power; ensure the body is reliably grounded.
- Regularly fill lubricating oil into all moving parts.
- Promptly remove machine debris after each use to maintain cleanliness.
5.2 Machine's Transport, Assembly and Placement Space Size
Package Size:
TEKOPACK T-3028 models: Dimensions approximately 1480 x 950 x 800 mm.
TEKOPACK T-5540 models: Dimensions approximately 1180 x 665 x 795 mm.
Assembly of Machine:
- Insert the caster screw through the gasket and connect it to the underpan, then tighten the screw.
- Insert the support connecting screw through the gasket to connect with both the right and left supports of the body, then tighten the screw.
- Connect the connection pin to the main body of work by screwing the threaded portion of the pin into the screw hole at the bottom of the body.
- Lift the body with the installed pin into the pre-assembled base. Align the circular cone of the pin with the support hole to complete the assembly.
Note: The TEKOPACK T-3028 does not require assembly; it is assembled upon completion of packaging.
(Diagram shows assembly components numbered 10-25)
5.3 Boot Operation
- After completing the pre-boot preparations, you can proceed with packaging.
- After correctly installing the packaging films, adjust the position of the pin wheel and wheel according to the packaging size.
- Adjust the fence height to match the packaging size.
- Connect the power, turn on the power switch and temperature switch. Warm up the machine according to the shrink film thickness, adjusting the temperature to 150-200°C as appropriate.
- Thread the film reel onto the shaft, move the fixer to the center of the reel, and fasten the screws. Use center-folded (semi-sleeve) film.
- Place the film reel shaft onto the reel holder, ensuring the open side of the semi-sleeve faces the operator.
- Thread the film through the perforator, separating the two layers of film to surround the working table.
- Stretch the film to the sealing area, ensuring only the film is sealed.
- Place the product on the working table, positioning it within the semi-sleeve (semi-folded film) under the upper sheet of film. Stretch the film and product towards the sealing area on the left.
- Maintain a distance of approximately half the product's height (h/2) between the product and the sealing blade to ensure sufficient film for shrinking.
- Adjust the sealing/cutting time and shrinkage time appropriately.
- Begin packaging products.
After setting parameters, press down the chamber hood. The sealing procedure will complete automatically. The hot air blowing fan will then activate, providing heat shrinkage for the film. The heat shrinkage status can be observed through the Plexiglas lid of the chamber hood. Once shrinkage is complete, the hood opens automatically. Remove the goods to finish the packaging process.
(Illustrations show film threading through a perforator and adjusting product height relative to the sealing blade.)
6. Maintenance
- Perform cleaning and maintenance regularly, and replace any damaged components.
- Do not adjust the location of spare parts arbitrarily to avoid uncoordinated operation.
- Avoid operating the machine in high humidity environments to prevent shortening the lifespan of electrical components.
- Periodically clean sticky material from the cutter to ensure a good sealing effect.
- Add or replace butter on the three slides (72, 73), motor (19), and guide rod (28) every six months.
- Ensure the input voltage is stable, as instability can affect the overall packaging performance.
- The cutter is a critical part of the sealing machine. If damaged, install a new cutter using the following method:
Replacement Method for Heating Wire: Release the fixed nut (47), disengage the heating wire from the screw (37), and pull back the top wire of the heating wire seat (40) and screw (52). This allows the heating wire clip column to detach from the fixed screw. Remove the heating wire and separate it from the heating wire clip column by hand to complete the removal of the damaged wire.
Installation Method for New Heating Wire: Insert the new heating wire into the ceramic knife, install the heating wire clip column (51), then place the heating wire and clip column into the fixed screw. Tighten the heating wire clip column screw (37), pull screws (52) inwards to ensure the heating wire is in a smooth linear state, and finally tighten nut (47) to complete the installation.
