3. Initial Use
3.1 Charging
Before use, please make sure to charge the pool robot. Remove the charging port plug. The charging head is designed for non-reversible insertion to ensure you connect it correctly. Plug the power head into a socket (supports AC: 100-240V-50/60Hz).
The robot's charging indicator light will flash during charging and turn solid green upon completion. The power adapter's indicator light shows red when charging and green when charging is complete.

3.2 Turn On/Off
- Switch the power button to the "ON" position to turn on the device. This will also activate the cleaning status light and battery indicator light.
- Switch the power button to the "OFF" position to turn off the device. The indicator lights will turn off.
3.3 Battery Level
When the pool robot is cleaning, pay attention to the battery level indicator. When the battery is low, recharge the pool robot promptly.

Note: Please recharge the pool cleaning robot promptly when the battery level is < 20% to prevent over-discharge of the battery.
3.4 Machine Water Entry
- Fully extend the semi floating cable to avoid tangling and knots.
- Check if the charging rubber plug is properly installed.
- After proper installation, put the robot in the pool for cleaning operation.
To start the robot:
- Switch the power button to "ON" to start the pool robot.
- Grab the rear handle of the robot and place it in the water. The robot will automatically sink to the bottom of the pool.
- Once it reaches the pool bottom, the robot will start cleaning based on the chosen mode.
The pool cleaning robot, when fully charged, will start cleaning in the chosen cleaning mode upon entry into the water.
3.5 Auto Parking
After completing the cleaning task, the Aero X pool robot will automatically go to the pool edge, waiting for instructions for the next cleaning task based on user settings.
3.6 Waterline Retrieval
- You can use the "Lift" function in the app to control the robot to approach the water surface, or manually pull the semi floating cable to bring the robot to the water surface position.
- Grab the rear handle of the robot and lift it gently.
- Lift the pool robot out of the pool after the robot has drained out the water.
3.7 Filter Cleaning
- Take out the filter tank and open the bottom cover.
- Remove the disposable filter bag, clean and rinse the debris inside. If the filter bag is heavily soiled, it is recommended to replace it.
- After emptying the remaining debris from the external filter basket, rinse it thoroughly using a hose or pressure washer.
3.8 Charging after using
- After the pool robot has completed the cleaning, make sure to dry any water marks around the charging port with a dry towel before removing the charging port plug.
- The robot's charging port is designed to prevent reverse insertion. Please refer to the diagram below to charge the robot accordingly.

4. Function Description
4.1 Status Lights and Voice Interaction
Without the app, you can switch cleaning modes using the switch on the control panel. When switching modes, there will be a corresponding voice reminder. When the robot is connected to the remote controller, the remote controller indicator light will illuminate.

4.2 Auto Mode
Switch the button (refer to the picture) to the left to cycle between Focus and Weekly cleaning modes. The corresponding status light will illuminate, accompanied by a voice reminder.

- Pool Floor Mode (⬇️): The robot will clean the pool floor along a designated path.
- Waterline Mode (?): The robot climbs up for cleaning, moves horizontally along the waterline, and then returns to the pool floor to clean it.
- Full Cleaning Mode (✨): The robot cleans the walls and waterline first before proceeding to clean the pool floor.
After setting the mode, place the pool robot in the pool, and it will automatically clean according to the selected mode.
4.3 Manual Mode
You can control the pool robot manually using the remote controller or the Manual Mode in the app. The remote control requires three AA batteries (non-rechargeable). Follow the diagram for installation.
Tips: The machine can be connected to both a remote control and an APP simultaneously. The remote control has priority. To use the APP, ensure the remote control is disconnected.

- Direction button: Controls the robot's forward/backward and left/right movement.
- Function Button: Short press to switch roller brush speed (high speed for waterline/climbing, regular speed for pool bottom).
- Mode Button: Switches between preset auto mode or manual mode (Auto mode/RC mode).
- Power Button: Long press for 2 seconds to power on/off.

Pairing Operation
After successful startup, the remote control prompts with a "beep-beep-beep" sound, and the LED flashes blue and green alternately and slowly (frequency: 1Hz).
Successful pairing: The remote control automatically searches for devices with a special Bluetooth name. Once pairing information is met, it connects automatically and remembers the connection. It can only remember and connect to one robot, overwriting existing pairing information.
Failed pairing: If pairing is not successful within 60 seconds, the remote control automatically exits the pairing state.
After the first successful pairing, the remote control automatically switches to manual mode + robot idle state, and synchronously issues commands to the robot.
5. APP Instructions
The Fanttik Aero X supports connecting to the APP to manage the pool robot. Through the APP, you can access the following services:
- Manage the pool robot and software upgrades.
- Obtain maintenance tips for the pool and the robot for better pool management.
- Contact the official support team to receive timely technical assistance.
5.1 Download & Registration
Before initial use, scan the QR code to download the Fanttik App from the App Store, Google Play, or the official website. Follow the prompts to register/login with your account. Please refer to the QR code on the official website.

5.2 Pairing with the robot
To set up your pool robot, open the Fanttik App, click "Add New Device," and allow Bluetooth and location access on your phone. On the search page, select your Fanttik product to complete initial pairing. If you have already paired other Fanttik products, you can bind a new machine via the "+" symbol in the top right corner.

- Open the Fanttik App.
- Click "Add New Device."
- Allow Bluetooth and location access.
- Select your Fanttik product from the list to complete pairing.

6. Maintenance and Care
6.1 Parts Maintenance
After the robot completes pool cleaning, rinse it and clean any sand and debris from the filter basket installation groove, roller brush, and rubber strip.
6.2 Component Maintenance
To ensure cleaning efficiency, pay attention to the following components:
- Water dispenser cover / water outlet: Check for blockages.
- Inlet: Check for blockages.
- Outlet: Check for blockages.
- Ultrasonic module: Check if obstructed; wipe clean if necessary.
- Semi floating cable: Check for any damage; contact customer support if damaged.
- Charging port plug: Check for any damage; contact customer support if damaged.
- Wheel Tracks: Check if tracks are loose; reset them promptly if so.
- AquaFlow Brush / Rubber brush: Inspect wear; purchase replacement parts from the official store and seek guidance for correct replacement if wear affects cleaning and movement.
- Filter: Check if the filter is damaged; replace the filter basket promptly if any damage is found.
- Water propeller: Check for debris; clean it promptly. Ensure the robot is powered off when cleaning.
For significant wear or damage, do not attempt to repair the pool robot yourself. Contact Fanttik's after-sales technical staff for assistance.
6.3 Filter Replace
To remove the filter:
- Open the bottom shell.
- Pull apart the C-shaped fasteners on both sides of the bottom shell.
- Grab the handle of the filter basket on both ends and pull outward forcefully (Note: Do not pull both sides at the same time; take out side A first, then side B).
- Remove the handle of the filter basket.
- Apply outward force at the location of the top cover's clip.
- Separate the top cover of the filter basket.
To replace with a new filter basket:
- Align the clips to install the filter basket with the water tank's top cover.
- Align the installation holes to attach the handle of the filter basket (install side A first, then side B).
- Replace the disposable filter bag and install the bottom shell C-shaped fasteners.
- After installing the filter basket back on the pool robot, ensure the handle of the filter basket is laid flat. Press the handle into place to prevent it from lifting during pool cleaning.
7. Product Storage
When not using the pool robot for an extended period, store it in a dry and cool place.
- Make sure the robot is powered off.
- Ensure there is no water residue in the robot and keep it dry.
- Thoroughly clean the robot and filter basket. Wipe the body, metal interfaces of the buoy handle, and semi floating cable with a dry towel.
- Disassemble the filter basket completely and let it air dry in a ventilated area.
- Store the pool robot in a place shielded from direct sunlight, rain, or frost.
- Before storage, fully charge the pool robot and recharge it every three months to maintain the battery capacity between 40%-60%.
- During winter, store the pool robot indoors to protect the battery.
