Warranty
Chattanooga Group, Inc. ("Company") warrants that the Hydrocollator® Master Heating Units ("Product") are free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty shall remain in effect for one (1) year from the date of original consumer purchase of this Product and extends to any owner of the Product during the warranty period. If this Product fails to function during the one year warranty period because of a defect in material or workmanship, Company or the selling dealer will replace or repair this Product without charge within a period of 30 days from the date on which the defective Product is returned to the Company or the dealer. Company or the dealer will ship the replacement or the repaired Product to the consumer's facility. All repairs must be performed by a service center authorized by Chattanooga Group, Inc. Any modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized centers or groups will void this warranty. To participate in warranty coverage, this Product's warranty registration card (included with Product) must be filled out and returned to Chattanooga Group, Inc. by the original owner within ten business days of purchase.
This Warranty Does Not Cover
1. Replacement parts or labor furnished by anyone other than the Company, the dealer or an approved Company service agent.
2. Defects or damage caused by labor furnished by someone other than Company, the dealer or an approved Company service agent.
3. Any malfunction or failure in the Product while it is in the possession of the owner during the warranty period if the malfunction or failure is not caused by a defect in material or workmanship, or if the malfunction or failure is caused by unreasonable use, including the failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Company Shall Not Be Liable for Incidental or Consequential Damages to Property or Business
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. TO OBTAIN SERVICE from Company or the selling dealer under this warranty, the owner must do or abide by the following:
1. A written claim must be made within the warranty period to the Company or the selling dealer. 2. The Product must be returned to the Company or the selling dealer by the owner. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The Company does not authorize any person or representative to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with the sale of the Product. Any representation or agreement not contained in the warranty shall be void and of no effect.
Foreword
This manual has been written for the owners and operators of the Hydrocollator Master Heating Units. It contains general instructions on operation, precautions, maintenance and parts information. In order to maximize use, efficiency and the life of your Hydrocollator Master Heating Units, please read this manual thoroughly and follow all instructions prior to operating the unit. Specifications put forth in this manual were in effect at the time of publication. However, owing to Chattanooga Group's policy of continual improvement, changes to these specifications may be made at any time without obligation on the part of Chattanooga Group, Inc.

Precautionary Instructions
1. CAUTION: Read, understand and practice the precautionary and operating instructions. Know the limitations associated with the Hydrocollator Master Heating Units. Observe the cautionary and operational decals installed on the unit.
2. CAUTION:
The thermostat is extremely sensitive and the slightest adjustment will alter the temperature several degrees. The recommended operating temperature is 160° F to 166° F (71° to 74°C). The temperature of the water should be checked with a thermometer after every adjustment, before using the HotPacs. Always allow sufficient time for the water temperature to stabilize.
3. CAUTION: ALWAYS keep the water level over the top of the HotPacs to avoid burning or scorching of the packs.
4. CAUTION: NEVER allow the HotPacs to dry after use.
5. CAUTION: Check water level daily as it has a natural loss due to evaporation.
6. CAUTION: NEVER adjust the thermostat too high. The thermostat is extremely sensitive to the slightest adjustment.
7. CAUTION: Clean the tank periodically as described in the maintenance portion of this manual.
8. CAUTION: ALWAYS replace Hydrocollator HotPacs as soon as they show signs of wear.
9. CAUTION: If the unit is to be left unattended for a period of time, unplug, remove the packs, empty the water and clean the tank.
10. CAUTION: ALWAYS use factory authorized replacement parts.
11. CAUTION: ALWAYS destroy and replace HotPacs which are exposed to contamination.
12. CAUTION: Certain additives (such as herbal teas, essential oils, etc.) will damage the heating element, thermostat and stainless steel of the heating unit. The use of such additives voids the manufacturer's warranty.
13. NOTICE:
Install Hotpacs in rack before filling the tank with water to ensure proper operation of your heating unit as well as correct water level. If using distilled water, it is imperative that the HotPacs are placed in the unit first.
14. NOTICE:
Chlorine in regular tap water may be present in high enough concentrations to damage your unit by causing rust. We highly recommend that you clean your unit regularly. If you suspect high levels of chlorine in your Hydrocollator Heating Unit, we recommend the addition of a dechlorinator
15. WARNING: Grounding the Hydrocollator Master Heating Unit: Make certain the unit is electrically grounded by plugging into a hospital grade electrical outlet with a ground terminal receptacle (U-ground outlet, 120 VAC only). Follow the National Electrical Code.
16. WARNING: The water temperature in the Hydrocollator is approximately 160° F (71° C), and the water scalding temperature is approximately 120° F (49° C).
General Operating Instructions
The Hydrocollator is simple and easy to operate. The controls are located in the rear, near the bottom of the unit. The thermostat controls the temperature of the water. It is located near the bottom of the unit on the control panel. It has been tested and preset at the factory to normal operating temperature. If further adjustment is necessary, it can be easily accomplished by turning the adjusting screw located on the thermostat. Turning the outer screw counterclockwise lowers the temperature, while turning it clockwise raises it.
NOTE: Do not turn the inner stem.
The Hydrocollator units operate through the use of a hydraulic capillary-type thermostat and can be left plugged in and turned "ON" to provide a ready supply of heated HotPacs.
The HotPacTM rack is adjustable and accommodates different sizes and types of packs.
SS-2 Unit Adjustment is accomplished by placing the rack insert in or leaving the insert out. The unit comes complete with eight standard HotPacs.
M-2 and M-4 Units Adjustment is accomplished by inserting the hanging platform. The M-2 unit comes complete with 12 standard HotPacs. The M-4 comes complete with 24 standard HotPacs.

E-1 Unit - Adjustment is accomplished by placing the rack insert (sheet metal) in or leaving the insert out. With the insert in, the rack accommodates four standard size packs.
E-2 Unit Adjustment is accomplished by inserting the hanging platform. The E-2 unit comes complete with two oversize, three standard and one Neck Contour Pack.
SS Unit Holds eight standard size HotPacs. Special rack holds two Neck Contour Packs.
Indicators and Controls
WHITE LAMP: (on 120 volt units of the M-2 model) or GREEN LAMP: (on 220/240 volt units), when illuminated, indicates that main power is connected, the switch is ON and
unit is operating. RED LAMP: (if applicable), when illuminated, warns of an overheat/low water condition. Action is necessary to rectify
the condition.
IMPORTANT: Some models are fitted with a thermal cut-out thermostat which acts as a "Non self-resetting" thermal cutout. In the unlikely event of a fault condition occurring, this device is designed to open the power circuit between 180°F to 185°F (82°C to 85°C). It is NOT possible to alter its operating range. The operation of the unit may be restored by depressing the red button after the water/element temperatures have been allowed to cool. If the fault condition persists, please contact Chattanooga Group, Inc. or an authorized agent.

Denotes the degree of protection against electric shock, particularly regarding allowable leakage currents and the reliability of the protective earth connection.

Installation
Remove all of the contents inside the Hydrocollator and then replace the wire rack and install Hotpacs. Make certain the drain valve is closed before filling the tank with water. The tank may be filled from any standard type faucet.
Check the voltage rating on the serial decal plate which is located on the back of the unit. To turn the unit on, simply plug the unit into a 120 Volt~, 60 Hz outlet or a 220-240 Volt~, 50-60Hz outlet as indicated on the decal plate. To turn the unit off, simply unplug from mains power supply. DO NOT attempt to use direct current. Follow the procedures indicated in the Precautionary Instructions. DO NOT attempt to use the unit if it is not properly grounded.
Maintenance
Care and Cleaning of your Hydrocollator Heating Unit
The Hydrocollator is equipped with an immersion type heating element and a hydraulic capillary type thermostat which evenly maintains the HotPac temperature in the water and provides a ready supply of heated packs. It is critical to maintain the water level over the top of the HotPac to avoid damage to the heating element, the stainless steel, or the HotPac. Water is constantly lost during operation due to evaporation. Therefore, it is essential that water be added daily. The tank should also be drained and cleaned systematically, at a minimum every two (2) weeks.
Always unplug the unit from its electrical service when emptying or cleaning the unit. Drain unit by the drain valve located at the bottom rear of the unit. Either move the unit to a floor drain or attach the extension hose to it when draining.
Your Hydrocollator Heating Unit is made of high quality stainless steel that should last a lifetime. That is Stainless, not Stainproof steel. You must properly care for your Hydrocollator Heating Unit if you wish for it to last a lifetime. And it will.

Follow these simple steps to ensure that your Hydrocollator Heating Unit lasts and lasts.
1. Chlorine means death to stainless steel. No bleach or any cleaner with high chlorine content. 2. Clean it regularly if you want it to last for years. NOTE: Failure to maintain your equipment (including regular
cleaning) will void your warranty. 3. Fill it daily with water. Water is constantly lost during operation due to evaporation. 4. Chlorine in regular tap water may be present in high enough concentrations to damage your unit by causing rust.
If you suspect high levels of chlorine in your Hydrocollator Heating Unit, we recommend the addition of a dechlorinator. 5. Certain additives (such as herbal teas, essential oils, etc.) will damage the components of the heating unit, including the stainless steel. The Hydrocollator Heating Unit was designed to heat water and HotPacs only.
To avoid potential for rusting
1. Do not use bleach or cleaners with high chloride content. 2. Do not use paper clips, safety pins, staples, coat hangers, etc., in or on the unit. 3. Do not clean the unit with steel wool or a carbon steel brush. 4. Do not use abrasive cleaners which tend to disturb the grain in the finish. 5. Water level is critical: Add water daily and keep it full. 6. Do regular cleaning and draining of the tank (every two weeks). 7. Remove all deposits from interior surfaces and parts (including heating element). The deposits are concentrations
of chlorine that allow rusting to begin. If allowed to accumulate on the heating element, these deposits will lower the efficiency of the element and increase the power consumption of the unit. 8. If you suspect that you have "hard water," you may need to change your water more frequently. Salt deposits are an indication of hard water that will eventually cause rust.
Cleaning Tips
1. The interior of the unit should be scoured, usually every two weeks, using a low abrasive bathroom cleaner. Check for low or no chlorine content in your cleaner and make sure that the residue is thoroughly rinsed away with water.
2. A strong solution of vinegar and water will usually dissolve away deposits, which then must be thoroughly rinsed away with water.
3. To maintain the high luster of the stainless steel exterior, use Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish.
Care of HotPacs
ALWAYS return the Hydrocollator HotPac to the hot water of the heating unit after each treatment. There it is heated, kept clean and ready for immediate use. The HotPac may be boiled. However, this hastens the deterioration of the pack. The pack may also be cleaned by scrubbing the pack with soap and water. The simplified method of keeping the pack clean is to keep it immersed in water. The Hydrocollator HotPac, under constant daily use, should have a useful life of at least one year. When the pack begins to wear out, the filler oozes and leaks through the fabric of the cloth and sections of the pack appear to be loose and empty and will not retain heat properly. The pack should be replaced when it reaches this state. Original replacement Hydrocollator HotPacs may be ordered from an authorized Chattanooga Group Inc. dealer. NOTE: If HotPacs are to be stored for extended periods, they may be placed - while wet - in plastic bags and stored in a freezer.

Garantie
Die Chattanooga Group, Inc. ("Firma") garantiert, daß die Hydrocollator® Erwärmungsgeräte ("Produkt") frei von Materialfehlern und Herstellungsfehlern sind. Diese Garantie gilt für ein (1) Jahr vom Ankaufsdatum des Produktes durch den ursprünglichen Kunden und erstreckt sich auf jeden Eigentümer des Produktes während der Garantiefrist. Sollte sich das Produkt jedoch aufgrund eines Material- oder Produktionsfehlers innerhalb dieser Garantiefrist als funktionsunfähig erweisen, wird die Firma oder der Händler dieses Produktes innerhalb von 30 Tagen von dem Datum an, an dem das fehlerhafte Produkt an die Firma oder den Händler zurückgegeben wurde, kostenfrei ersetzen oder reparieren. Die Firma oder der Händler wird das Ersatzgerät oder reparierte Produkt an den Kunden schicken.
Alle Reparaturen müssen von einem Dienstzentrum, das von der Chattanooga Group, Inc. genehmigt wurde, durchgeführt werden. Alle Änderungen oder Reparaturen, die von nicht autorisierten Zentren oder Gruppen durchgeführt werden, lassen diese Garantie erlöschen. Um der Garantie teilhaftig zu werden, muß der dem Produkt beigefügte Garantieschein ausgefüllt und an die Chattanooga Group, Inc. vom ursprünglichen Eigentümer innerhalb von zehn Werktagen vom Ankaufsdatum an, zurückgesendet werden.
Diese Garantie schließt nicht ein:
1. Ersatzteile oder Arbeiten, die von jemand anderem als der Firma, dem Händler oder einer autorisierten Wartungsfirma geliefert oder ausgeführt werden.
2. Fehler oder Schäden, die von jemand anderem als der Firma, dem Händler oder einer autorisierten Wartungsfirma verursacht werden.
3. Jede Störung oder jedes Versagen des Produktes, während es sich im Besitze des Eigentümers und innerhalb der Garantiefrist befindet, wenn die Störung oder der Fehler nicht durch einen Material- oder Herstellungsfehler verursacht wird, oder falls die Störung oder das Versagen durch unvernünftigen Gebrauch, einschließlich des Vernachlässigens der ordentlichen und notwendigen Wartung, verursacht wird.
Die Firma ist in keiner Weise für Zufalls- oder Folgeschäden verantwortlich, weder am Eigentum noch am Geschäft.
Manche Staaten erlauben solche Ausnahmen oder Beschränkungen von Zufalls- oder Folgeschäden nicht, und somit ist es möglich, daß obgenannte Beschränkung oder Ausnahme nicht auf Sie zutrifft.
UM EINE DIENSTLEISTUNG unter dieser Garantie von der Firma oder dem Händler zu erhalten, muß der Eigentümer nachfolgende Punkte befolgen:

Bitte lesen und befolgen Sie die Vorsichts- und Betriebsmaßregeln. Machen Sie sich mit den Einschränkungen der Hydrocollator Master Heating Geräte vertraut. Beachten Sie bitte die Vorsichts- und Prüfungskennzeichen, die in das Gerät eingebaut sind.
Der Thermostat ist äußerst empfindlich und die kleinste Veränderung der Einstellung wird die Temperatur um einige Grade verändern. Die empfohlene Betriebstemperatur beträgt 160oF bis 166° F (71° C bis 74° C). Die Wassertemperatur sollte nach jeder Einstellungsänderung mit einem Thermometer überprüft werden, bevor die HotPacs verwendet werden. Bitte erlauben Sie genügend Zeit zur Stabilisierung der Wassertemperatur.
Halten Sie den Wasserstand IMMER über den HotPacs, um ein Verbrennen oder Verschmoren der Packungen zu vermeiden.
Lassen Sie die HotPacs nach Gebrauch NIEMALS trocknen.
Prüfen Sie den Wasserstand täglich, da sich der Wasserstand durch die Verdunstung senkt.
Stellen Sie den Thermostat NIEMALS zu hoch ein. Der Thermostat reagiert auf die kleinste Einstellungsveränderung äußerst empfindlich.
Reinigen Sie den Wassertank laut der Wartungsanweisung in dieser Broschüre in bestimmten Zeitabständen.
Ersetzen Sie IMMER die Hydrocollator HotPacs, sobald sie Anzeichen von Verschleiß zeigen.
Sollte das Gerät für einen bestimmten Zeitraum unbenutzt bleiben, ziehen Sie es aus der Steckdose, entfernen die Packungen, leeren das Wasser aus und reinigen den Tank.
Verwenden Sie IMMER Ersatzteile, die von der Firma genehmigt sind.
Vernichten und ersetzen Sie IMMER HotPacs, die einer Verunreinigung ausgesetzt wurden.
Gewisse Zusätze (wie z.B. Kräutertees, ätherische Öle, usw.) schädigen das Heizelement, den Thermostat und rostfreien Stahl des Erwärmungsgerätes. Der Gebrauch solcher Zusätze hebt die Garantie des Herstellers auf.
Geben Sie die HotPacs in die Halterung, bevor Sie den Tank mit Wasser füllen, um einerseits den ordentlichen Betrieb des Gerätes und andrerseits den korrekten Wasserstand zu gewährleisten. Im Falle des Gebrauchs von destilliertem Wasser müssen die HotPacs zuerst in das Gerät gegeben werden.
Der Chlorgehalt in normalem Leitungswasser kann manchmal so hoch sein, daß er Ihr Gerät rosten läßt. Eine regelmäßige Reinigung des Gerätes wird dringend empfohlen. Falls Sie einen hohen Chlorgehalt in Ihrem Hydrocollator-Heizgerät vermuten, empfehlen wir Ihnen den Zusatz von einem Entchlorungsmittel.
Erden der Hydrocollator Master Heating Geräte: Versichern Sie sich, daß das Gerät elektrisch geerdet ist, indem Sie es an eine Steckdose für den Gebrauch in Krankenhäusern anschließen, die eine Erdung besitzt (nur U-Erdungsdose, 120 VAC). Befolgen Sie die staatlichen Elektrovorschriften.
Die Wassertemperatur im Hydrocollator beträgt ca. 160° F (71° C) und die Verbrühungstemperatur von Wasser beträgt ca. 120° F (49° C).
Allgemeine Betriebsanweisungen
Das Hydrocollator Gerät ist einfach zu bedienen. Die Kontrollen sind an der Rückseite am unteren Teil des Gerätes angebracht. Der Thermostat reguliert die Wassertemperatur. Er ist unten an der Schalttafel angebracht. Er wurde in der Fabrik getestet und auf die normale Betriebstemperatur eingestellt. Falls eine veränderte Einstellung sich als notwendig erweisen sollte, kann das durch Drehung der Einstellschraube am Thermostat bewerkstelligt werden. Die Temperatur kann verringert werden, indem die äußere Schraube gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gedreht wird; wird sie jedoch im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht, erhöht sich die Temperatur.

BITTE BEACHTEN: Nicht den inneren Stab drehen.
Die Hydrocollator Geräte arbeiten mit Hilfe eines hydraulischen kapillarenartigen Thermostates und können eingesteckt und auf "AN" geschaltet bleiben, um einen fertigen Vorrat an aufgewärmten HotPacs zu gewährleisten.
Das HotPac-Regal ist einstellbar und kann verschiedene Größen und Arten von HotPacs aufnehmen.
SS-2 Gerät - Die Einstellung wird erzielt, indem der Regaleinschub entweder drinnen oder draußen belassen wird. Das Gerät wird mit acht HotPacs in Standardgröße geliefert.
M-2 und M-4 Geräte - Die Einstellung wird erzielt, indem die hängende Plattform eingeschoben wird. Das M-2 Gerät wird komplett mit 12 HotPacs in Standardgröße geliefert. Das M-4 wird mit 24 HotPacs in Standardgröße geliefert.
E-1 Gerät - Die Einstellung wird erzielt, indem der Regaleinschub (Blech) entweder drinnen oder draußen belassen wird. Wenn er drinnen ist, kann das Regal vier normalgroße Packungen aufnehmen.
E-2 Gerät - Die Einstellung wird erzielt, indem die hängende Plattform eingeschoben wird. Das E-2 Gerät wird komplett mit zwei Übergrößen, drei Normalgrößen und einer Nackenkonturpackung geliefert.
SS-Gerät - Kann acht Packungen in Normalgröße aufnehmen. Ein spezielles Regal hält zwei Nackenkonturpackungen.
Anzeigen und Kontrollen
WEIßE LAMPE: (an 120Volt-Geräten des M-2 Modells) oder
GRÜNE LAMPE: (an 220/240 Volt Geräten): Das Aufleuchten dieser Lampe zeigt an, daß das Gerät an den Stromkreis angeschlossen ist, der Schalter auf AN steht und das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
ROTE LAMPE: (falls zutreffend): Das Aufleuchten dieser Lampe warnt vor einer Überhitzung/niedrigem Wasserstand. Es müssen sofort Maßnahmen zur Behebung dieses Zustandes getroffen werden.
WICHTIG: Manche Modelle sind mit einem Wärmeabschalter ausgerüstet, der als ein "nicht sich-selbstwiedereinstellbarer" thermaler Ausschalter wirkt. In dem unwahrscheinlichen Fall eines Defektes ist das Gerät so konzipiert, daß es den Stromkreis zwischen 180° F bis 185° F (82° C bis 85° C) öffnet. Es ist NICHT möglich, den Betriebsbereich zu ändern. Der Betrieb des Gerätes kann wieder aufgenommen werden, indem man den roten Knopf drückt, nachdem die Wasser-/Heizelementtemperatur wieder abgekühlt ist. Sollte jedoch der Defekt bestehen bleiben, dann kontaktieren Sie bitte die Chattanooga Group, Inc. oder einen autorisierten Händler.

Typ B Ausrüstung. ACHTUNG:
Gibt den Grad des Schutzes gegen Elektroschock, insbesondere unter Berücksichtigung der zulässigen Kriechströme und der Verläßlichkeit eines Erdschutzschalters, an.
Explosionsgefahr bei Verwendung in der Nähe von leicht entzündlichen Betäubungsmitteln.
Installierung
Entfernen Sie alles, was sich im Inneren des Hydrocollators befindet und setzen Sie dann wieder das Drahtregal ein und geben Sie die HotPacs hinein. Machen Sie sicher, daß das Ablaufventil geschlossen ist, bevor Sie den Tank mit Wasser füllen. Der Tank kann von jedem Standardwasseranschluß gefüllt werden.
Prüfen Sie die Volt-Angabe auf der Serienplatte, welche auf der Rückseite des Gerätes angebracht ist. Um das Gerät einzuschalten, schließen Sie es in eine 120 Volt~, 60 Hz-Steckdose oder eine 220-240 Volt~, 50-60 HZ-Steckdose an, je nach Angaben auf der Serienplatte. Um das Gerät abzuschalten, ziehen Sie es aus der Steckdose. Versuchen Sie NICHT, Gleichstrom zu verwenden. Befolgen Sie die Vorgänge, so wie sie in den Vorsichtsmaßnahmen angeführt sind. Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät in Betrieb zu nehmen, wenn es NICHT entsprechend geerdet ist.

Wartung
Wartung und Reinigung Ihres Hydrocollator Heizgerätes
Der Hydrocollator ist mit einem Tauchheizelement und einem hydraulischen Kapillarthermostat ausgestattet, welcher die Temperatur der HotPacs im Wasser konstant hält und dadurch einen dauernden Vorrat an erwärmten Packungen garantiert. Es ist äußerst wichtig, daß der Wasserstand oberhalb der HotPacs auf dem selben Stand gehalten wird, um eine Schädigung am Heizelement als auch am rostfreien Stahl oder an den HotPacs zu vermeiden. Aufgrund der Verdunstung wird andauernd Wasser verloren. Darum ist es notwendig, daß täglich Wasser zugegeben wird. Der Wasserbehälter muß auch regelmäßig und mindestens alle zwei (2) Wochen entleert und gereinigt werden. Das Gerät muß während des Entleerens oder der Reinigung immer aus der Steckdose gezogen werden. Entleeren Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe des Ablaufventils, das unten am Gerät angebracht ist. Stellen Sie das Gerät entweder auf ein Abflußrohr im Fußboden oder schließen Sie für den Entleerungsvorgang den Verlängerungsschlauch an. Ihr Hydrocollator-Heizgerät ist aus hochwertigem rostfreien Stahl gefertigt und sollte auf Lebenszeit halten. Dies hier ist rostfreier Stahl und nicht fleckfreier Stahl. Sie müssen daher Ihr Hydrocollator-Heizgerät entsprechend warten, wenn es Ihnen auf Lebenszeit dienen soll. Und das wird es auch bei entsprechender Wartung tun.
Befolgen Sie diese einfachen Regeln und Ihr Hydrocollator-Heizgerät wird es Ihnen mit einer unbegrenzten Lebensdauer danken.
1. Chlor bedeutet für rostfreien Stahl ein Todesurteil. Verwenden Sie keine Bleich- oder Reinigungsmittel mit einem hohen Chlorgehalt.
2. Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig, um sich seiner jahrelangen Nutzung zu erfreuen. ACHTUNG: Wenn die Wartung Ihres Gerätes verabsäumt wird (einschließlich der regelmäßigen Reinigung), erlischt die Garantie.
3. Füllen Sie das Gerät jeden Tag mit Wasser auf. Aufgrund der Verdunstung wird während der Inbetriebnahme andauernd Wasser verloren.
4. Der Chlorgehalt in normalem Leitungswasser kann manchmal so hoch sein, daß er Ihr Gerät rosten läßt. Falls Sie einen hohen Chlorgehalt in Ihrem Hydrocollator-Heizgerät vermuten, empfehlen wir Ihnen den Zusatz von einem Entchlorungsmittel.
5. Bestimmte Zusätze (wie zum Beispiel Kräutertees, ätherische Öle, usw.) schädigen sowohl die Bestandteile des Heizgerätes als auch den rostfreien Stahl. Das Hydrocollator-Heizgerät wurde ausschließlich für die Erhitzung von Wasser und der HotPacs entworfen.
Vermeidung von Rostmöglichkeiten
1. Verwenden Sie keine Bleich- oder Reinigungsmittel mit einem hohen Chlorgehalt. 2. Benutzen Sie keine Büroklammern, Sicherheitsnadeln, Heftklammern, Kleiderbügel, usw. in oder auf dem Gerät. 3. Reinigen Sie nie das Gerät mit Stahlwolle oder einer Bürste aus unlegiertem Stahl. 4. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da diese die Politur des Stahles beschädigen. 5. Der Wasserstand ist äußerst wichtig: Fügen Sie täglich Wasser bei und machen Sie sicher, daß das Gerät immer
voll ist. 6. Entleeren und reinigen Sie den Wassertank regelmäßig (alle zwei Wochen). 7. Entfernen Sie alle Ablagerungen von den inneren Oberflächen und Teilen (einschließlich des Heizelementes).
Diese Ablagerungen sind Chloransammlungen, welche den Rostprozeß einleiten. Wenn diese Ablagerungen sich auf dem Heizelement aufbauen, verringert das die Effizienz des Elementes und verursacht zugleich einen erhöhten Stromverbrauch des Gerätes. 8. Wenn Sie vermuten, daß Sie "hartes Wasser" haben, ist es ratsam, das Wasser häufiger auszuwechseln. Salzablagerungen sind ein Zeichen dafür, daß es sich um hartes Wasser handelt und das wird im Laufe der Zeit Rost verursachen.

Ratschläge zur Reinigung
1. Das Innere der Gerätes sollte normalerweise alle zwei Wochen mit einem nicht-scheuernden Badezimmerreiniger geschrubbt werden. Überzeugen Sie sich, daß das Reinigungsmittel keinen oder einen nur sehr geringen Chlorgehalt aufweist und entfernen Sie anschließend alle Spuren des Reinigungsmittels, indem Sie diese gründlich mit Wasser wegspülen.
2. Eine konzentrierte Essiglösung (Essig und Wasser) ist normalerweise ausreichend, um Ablagerungen aufzulösen, die anschließend gründlich mit Wasser weggespült werden.
3. Um den Hochglanz der äußeren rostfreien Stahlumhüllung zu erhalten, empfehlen wir Ihnen, das Produkt "Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish" (Hydrocollator Reiniger und Politur für rostfreien Stahl) zu verwenden.
Wartung Der Hotpacs
Geben Sie nach jeder Behandlung die Hydrocollator HotPacs IMMER zurück ins Wasser des Erwärmungsgerätes. Dort werden sie erwärmt, sauber gehalten und stehen für die nächste Anwendung bereit. Die HotPacs können gekocht werden. Allerdings beschleunigt das den Verschleiß der Packungen. Die Packungen können auch mit Seife und Wasser geschrubbt werden. Die einfachere Methode, um die HotPacs sauber zu halten, ist sie im Wasser untergetaucht zu lassen.
Eine Hydrocollator HotPac sollte bei täglichem Gebrauch eine Lebensdauer von mindestens einem Jahr haben. Sobald die Packung Verschleißerscheinungen zeigt, wird die Füllung durch den Stoff sickern und Teile der Packung erscheinen als lose und leer und sie wird die Hitze nicht mehr halten. Die Packung sollte, sobald sie dieses Stadium erreicht hat, ersetzt werden. Original Hydrocollator HotPacs können bei einem autorisierten Chattanooga Group, Inc. Händler bestellt werden.
ACHTUNG: Wenn HotPacs für einen längeren Zeitraum gelagert werden sollen, können sie - solange sie noch naß sind - in Plastiksäcke gewickelt und in einem Gefriergerät gelagert werden.
Behebung Von Störungen
Hier werden Richtlinien zur Behebung von kleineren Störungen im Betrieb gegeben. Alle anderen Probleme mit dem Gerät müssen von einem geschulten Personal ausgeführt werden.

Chattanooga Group, Inc. ("Société") garantit que les appareils de chauffage Hydrocollator® ("Produit") n'ont pas de défauts de matériel ou de fabrication. Cette garantie est valable pour une (1) année à partir de la date d'achat par l'utilisateur de ce Produit. Cette garantie est valable pour tout propriétaire de ce Produit pendant la période de garantie. La Société ou le fournisseur remplacera ou réparera ce Produit gratuitement dans les 30 jours suivant le renvoi du Produit à la Société ou au fournisseur, en cas de mauvais fonctionnement, pendant la période de garantie, dû au matériel ou à une fabrication défectueuse. La Société ou le fournisseur renverra le Produit remplacé ou réparé à l'adresse de l'utilisateur. Toute réparation doit être effectuée par un centre de service autorisé par Chattanooga Group, Inc. Toute modification ou réparation effectuée par un centre de service ou groupe non autorisé annulera cette garantie. Consulter et observer les instructions et précautions. Observer les limites des appareils de chauffage Hydrocollator. Observer les instructions et précautions inscrites sur les décalcomanies et autocollants sur l'appareil.
Le thermostat est très sensible et le moindre réglage changera la température de plusieurs dégrés. La température opératoire recommandée est de 160° F à 166° F (71° à 74°C). La température de l'eau doit être vérifiée avec un thermomètre après chaque réglage, avant l'emploi des HotPacs. Laisser suffisamment de temps pour la stabilisation de la température de l'eau.
Toujours recouvrir complètement d'eau pour éviter de brûler les HotPacs.
Ne jamais laisser sécher les HotPacs après usage.
Contrôler le niveau d'eau tous les jours à cause de l'évaporation naturelle de l'eau.
Ne jamais régler le thermostat trop haut. Le thermostat est extrêmement sensible à tout réglage.
Nettoyer le réservoir périodiquement en suivant les instructions de la partie Entretien de ce mode d'emploi.
Toujours remplacer les Hydrocollator HotPacs usés.
Débrancher l'appareil, enlever les HotPacs, vider l'eau et nettoyer le réservoir si l'appareil est hors usage pendant une certaine période.
Toujours remplacer avec des pièces autorisées par l'usine
Toujours détruire et remplacer des HotPacs contaminés.
Certains produits ajoutés à l'eau (comme certaines infusions ou essences) peuvent endommager les éléments de l'appareil, le thermostat et l'acier inoxydable. L'emploi de ces produits rendra la garantie nulle et non avenue.
Installer les Hotpacs dans l'appareil avant de le remplir d'eau pour assurer un fonctionnement et un niveau d'eau corrects. Il est impératif de placer les HotPacs dans l'appareil avant de le remplir d'eau distillée.
L'eau du robinet peut contenir du chlore en quantité suffisamment importante pour faire rouiller l'appareil. Il est fortement recommandé de nettoyer l'appareil régulièrement. Ajouter un produit pour neutraliser le chlore si votre eau en contient une concentration élevée.
Pour mettre les appareils de chauffage Hydrocollator à la terre: Vérifier que l'appareil est mis à la terre en le branchant sur une prise de terre ('U-ground outlet', 120 VAC seulement). Suivre le Code Electrique National.
La température de l'eau dans le Hydrocollator est d'environ 160° F (71° C) - la température de brûlure est d'environ 120° F (49° C).
Instructions Opératoires
L'Hydrocollator est facile à utiliser. Les contrôles se trouvent à l'arrière en bas de l'appareil. Le thermostat contrôle la température de l'eau. Il se trouve derrière l'appareil sur le tableau de commande et a été préréglé à l'usine à une température opératoire normale. Tourner la vis située sur le thermostat pour un réglage complémentaire si nécessaire. Tourner la vis en sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre pour baisser la température, et dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour l'augmenter.
NOTER: Ne pas tourner la tige à l'intérieur. Les appareils Hydrocollator fonctionnent avec des thermostats hydrauliques capillaires et peuvent rester branchés pour assurer une disponibilité constante de HotPacsTM chauds.
Le râtelier pour les HotPacs est réglable et s'adapte aux HotPacs de tailles diverses.
Appareil SS-2- Réglable en insérant ou en ôtant le râtelier. L'appareil est présenté avec huit HotPacs de taille standard.
Appareils M-2 et M-4 - Réglable en ajoutant la plate-forme suspendue. L'appareil M-2 est présenté avec douze HotPacs de taille standard. L'appareil M-4 est présenté avec 24 HotPacs de taille standard.

Appareil E-1- Réglable en insérant ou en ôtant le râtelier (tôle). Le râtelier inséré peut traiter quatre HotPacs de taille standard.

(sur les appareils à 120 volts du modèle M-2) ou (sur les appareils à 220/240 volts) : indique que l'appareil est branché, que l'interrupteur est en position ON et que l'appareil est en marche. (dans certains cas) : avertit d'une surchauffe ou d'un manque d'eau dans le réservoir. Il est impératif de rectifier cette situation.
IMPORTANT: Certains modèles sont équipés d'un thermostat à disjonction thermique. En cas de panne ce thermostat est conçu pour couper le circuit électrique entre 180°F et 185°F (82°C et 85°C). Il n'est pas possible de modifier ce réglage. L'appareil peut être remis en marche en poussant le bouton rouge après que l'eau et l'élément de chauffage auront refroidi. Contacter Chattanooga Group, Inc. ou un agent autorisé si la panne persiste.

Installation
Oter le contenu de l'Hydrocollator, puis remettre le râtelier et placer les HotPacs. S'assurer que le robinet de drainage est fermé avant de remplir le réservoir d'eau. Remplir le réservoir d'eau du robinet.
Contrôler le voltage sur la plaque autocollante à l'arrière de l'appareil. Brancher l'appareil sur une prise de 120 Volt~, 60 Hz ou de 220-240 Volt~, 50-60Hz selon les indications de cette plaque. Le débrancher simplement pour éteindre l'appareil. NE PAS utiliser de courant continu. Observer les instructions et précautions. NE PAS utiliser l'appareil sans qu'il soit correctement mis à la terre.
Entretien
Entretien et nettoyage de votre appareil de chauffage Hydrocollator
L'Hydrocollator est équipé d'un élément de chauffage à immersion et d'un thermostat capillaire hydraulique pour maintenir une température constante de l'eau, garantissant ainsi une disponibilité des HotPacs chauds. Il est impératif de garder les HotPacs couverts d'eau pour éviter d'abîmer l'élément de chauffage, l'acier inoxydable ou les HotPacs. Ajouter de l'eau journellement. Le niveau d'eau baisse continuellement à cause de l'évaporation. Vider et nettoyer le réservoir au moins toutes les deux semaines.
Débrancher l'appareil avant de vider ou de nettoyer. Vider l'appareil par le robinet de drainage au fond et à l'arrière de l'appareil. Pour vider l'appareil, le placer au dessus d'un conduit d'évacuation égout ou brancher le tuyau de drainage à l'égout.
Votre appareil de chauffage Hydrocollator est fabriqué en acier inoxydable de haute qualité inaltérable. Apporter les soins et l'entretien nécessaire ; l'appareil restera en parfait état.

Suivre ces conseils pour assurer une longue durée de vie à votre Hydrocollator.

Pour éviter le risque de rouille
1. Ne pas utiliser de l'eau de Javel ou des produits contenant de l'eau de Javel. 2. Ne pas utiliser de trombones, épingles de nourrice, agrafes, cintres, etc., dans ou sur l'appareil. 3. Ne pas nettoyer l'appareil avec de la paille de fer ou une brosse en acier. 4. Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs nettoyants pour éviter d'abîmer la surface. 5. Le niveau d'eau est essentiel : ajouter de l'eau journellement et garder l'appareil rempli. 6. Nettoyer et vider l'appareil régulièrement (toutes les deux semaines). 7. Enlever tous les dépôts des surfaces et pièces internes (y compris l'élément de chauffage). Les dépôts
constituent des concentrations de chlore qui causent la rouille. Les dépôts sur l'élément de chauffage en réduisent le rendement et causent une augmentation de la consommation électrique. 8. Changer l'eau plus fréquemment si l'eau est calcaire. La présence de dépôts de sel indique une eau calcaire et cause la rouille.
Conseils pour le nettoyage
1. L'intérieur de l'appareil doit être nettoyé toutes les deux semaines en utilisant un produit abrasif doux. Contrôler que le produit ne contient pas ou peu de chlore. Rincer avec de l'eau propre après le nettoyage.
2. Une solution vinaigré à forte concentration dissoudra les dépôts. Rincer après le nettoyage. 3. Utiliser l'Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Cleaner pour obtenir le meilleur résultat.
Entretien des HotPacs
TOUJOURS remettre le HotPac dans l'eau chaude du réservoir après chaque traitement. Il y sera chauffé, il restera propre et disponible pour un usage immédiat. Le HotPac peut être bouilli mais cela accélérera sa détérioration. Le HotPac peut être nettoyé en le brossant avec du savon et de l'eau. La méthode la plus simple pour garder le HotPac propre est de le laisser recouvert d'eau. La durée de vie du Hydrocollator HotPac en usage journalier est d'au moins un an. Quand le HotPac est usé, le remplissage commencera à suinter à travers le tissu, certains endroits se videront et le HotPac ne retiendra plus correctement sa chaleur. Quand il est dans cet état, le HotPac doit être remplacé. Les Hydrocollator HotPacs peuvent être commandés auprès d'un fournisseur autorisé par Chattanooga Group Inc. NOTER: Les HotPacs peuvent être conservés pour une période prolongée - mouillés - dans des sacs en plastique au congélateur.

La compañía (Chattanooga Group, Inc.) garantiza que las unidades de calefacción Hydrocollator® (el Producto) no tienen ningún defecto de materiales y mano de obra. La garantía es válida por un período de un (1) año contado desde la fecha de adquisición por el comprador original. La presente garantía se extiende a cualquier propietario posterior del producto dentro del plazo arriba indicado. Si este producto dejase de funcionar durante el período de garantía y la falla fuese atribuíble a defectos de materiales o mano de obra, la compañia o el vendedor autorizado del producto lo remplazarán o repararán sin cargo alguno dentro de un período de 30 días contados desde la fecha en que la compañia o el vendedor reciban el producto defectuoso. La compañía o el vendedor remitirán al domicilio del propietario una unidad de remplazo o la unidad original reparada. Sólo los centros de servicio autorizados por la Chattanooga Group, Inc. están habilitados para efectuar reparaciones de este producto. Esta garantía dejará de tener validez si algún otro centro o grupo de servicio no autorizado efectuase cualquier tipo de servicio o modificación del producto. Leer, comprender y poner en práctica las instrucciones sobre precauciones y operaciones. Reconocer cuales son las limitaciones en la operación de las unidades Hydrocollator Master. Obedecer las pautas de precaución y operación indicadas en la placa de la unidad.
El termostato es extremadente sensitivo y el menor ajuste que se haga hará variar la temperatura en varios grados. La temperatura de operación recomendada es de 160° F a 166° F (71° C a 74° C). Verificar siempre la temperatura del agua con un termómetro antes de usar los HotPacsTM. Dar siempre tiempo para que se estabilice la temperatura del agua.
Mantener el nivel del agua SIEMPRE por encima de los HotPacs, para no quemarlos ni chamuscarlos.
No dejar NUNCA que los HotPacs se sequen después de usarlos.
Verificar el nivel del agua todos los días, para compensar su evaporación.
No ajustar NUNCA el termostato a una temperatura demasiado elevada. El termostato es muy sensible a los ajustes por más pequeños que sean.
Limpiar el tanque periodicamente siguiendo las instrucciones que se dan este manual en el capítulo de mantenimiento.
Reemplazar SIEMPRE los HotPacs apenas den señales de desgaste.
Si la unidad debiese dejarse fuera de operación por un período más o menos largo, desenchufarla, retirar los HotPacs que tenga adentro, vaciar el agua y limpiar el tanque.
Usar SIEMPRE repuestos autorizados por la fábrica.
Destruir y reemplazar SIEMPRE cualquier HotPac que se haya contaminado, sea cual sea la causa.
Existen determinados aditivos, tales como infusiones de hierbas, aceites esenciales, etc., que atacan el elemento calefactor, el termostato y el acero inoxidable de la unidad. El uso de tales aditivos invalida la garantía.
Para asegurarse de que el nivel final del agua es el correcto, se deberán colocar primero los HotPacs, antes de llenar el recipiente con agua, con lo que también se logra que la unidad funcione correctamente. El colocar los HotPacs en la unidad antes de llenarla con agua es imprescindible en los casos en que se use agua destilada.
La concentración de cloro en el agua de la canilla puede ser tan alta que pueda herrumbrar la unidad. Se recomienda especialmente la limpieza regular de la unidad. En los casos en que se llegase a sospechar que el agua en el Hydrocollator tuviese alto contenido de cloro, recomendamos la instalaciónde un declorinador.
Puesta a tierra de las unidades Hydrocollator Master. Asegurarse de que la unidad esté bien conectada a tierra enchufándola a una toma autorizada para uso en hospitales, provista de una conexión a tierra (tierra-U solamente en modelos para c.a. 120V). Cumplir con los requisitos de los códigos nacionales para instalaciones eléctricas.
La temperatura del agua en el Hydrocollator es de aproximadamente 160° F (71° C) y la temperatura de escaldadura es de aproximadamente120° F (49° C).

Instrucciones generales de operacion
El uso del Hydrocollator es simple y fácil. Los controles están ubicados en la parte trasera, cerca del fondo de la unidad. La temperatura del agua es controlada por un termostato, ubicado en el panel de control, cerca del fondo de la unidad. El termostato ha sido probado en fábrica y fijado a la temperatura normal de operación. Si fuese necesario efectuar un ajuste adicional, el mismo se podrá lograr haciendo girar el tornillo exterior de ajuste del termostato hacia la izquierda para bajar la temperatura o hacia la derecha para aurmentarla.
NOTA: No girar el tornillo interior.
Los termostatos son capilares y permiten mantener las unidades enchufadas y conectadas para tener siempre a mano varios HotPacs calientes.
El soporte interno de HotPac es ajustable para sostener varios tamañs de packs.
Unidad SS-2 - Para ajustarlo, poner o sacar la parte móvil. La unidad viene con ocho HotPacs estándar.
Unidades M-2 y M-4 - Para ajustar el soporte agregar la plataforma colgante. La unidad M-2 viene con 12 HotPac estándar y la unidad M-4 viene con 24 HotPacs estándar.
Unidad E-1 - Para ajustarlo, poner o sacar la parte móvil (chapa metálica). Con la parte móvil instalada, la unidad tiene capacidad para cuatro packs de tamaño estándar.
Unidad E-2 - Para ajustar el soporte agregar la plataforma colgante. La unidad M-2 viene con dos HotPacs grandes, tres de tamaño estándar y un pack para cuello.
Unidad SS - Tiene capacidad para ocho HotPacs estándar. Un soporte especial tiene capacidad para dos packs de cuello.
Indicadores y controles
La LAMPARILLA BLANCA: (en unidades del Modelo M-2 para 120 voltios) o la
LAMPARILLA VERDE:
(en unidades para 220/240 voltios), al estar encendidas, indican que la unidad está conectada a la corriente eléctrica, el interruptor está en la posición "ON" y está funcionando.
La LAMPARILLA ROJA:
(si la hubiese) al encenderse indica que la temperatura del agua ha excedido el límite o que el nivel ha caído por debajo del mínimo requerido y que se debe corregir cualquiera de las dos situaciones.
IMPORTANTE: Algunos modelos han sido provistos con un termostato de emergencia que corta la corriente en el caso poco probable de que ocurra una falla. Este termostato ha sido ajustado para cortar la corriente cuando el agua llegue a una temperatura de 180° F a 185° F (82° C a 85° C). Este rango de operación es fijo y NO SE PUEDE MODIFICAR. Para poner la unidad nuevamente en funcionamiento una vez que se haya reducido la temperatura del agua o del elemento, se deberá pulsar el botón rojo. Si la falla continuase, se ruega al usuario que se ponga en contacto con Chattanooga Group, Inc. o uno de sus agentes autorizados.

Equipo del tipo B. PELIGRO:
Esta denominación indica el tipo de protección contra chocques eléctricos que el equipo posée, con referencia particular al máximo permisible de pérdidas a tierra y la confiabilidad de la conexión a tierra.
Se corre el riesgo de explosiones si se utilliza en cercanias de anestéticos inflamables.
Instalación
Retirar del interior del Hydrocollator® todas las piezas que en él se han empacado y luego volver a colocar el soporte metálico en la unidad y a continuación colocar los HotPacs. Antes de llenar la unidad con agua, tener cuidado de que la canilla de drenaje esté cerrada. Para llenar el tanque se puede usar simplemente agua corriente de la canilla.
Ver el voltaje indicado en la placa de número de serie colocada en la parte trasera de la unidad. Para poner en funcionamiento se debe simplamente enchufar ya sea en una toma de c.a. de 120 voltios y 60 Hz ó de c.a. de 220/240 voltios, 50/60 Hz, siguiendo las iindicaciones de la placa. Para apagar la unidad sólo basta desenchufarla. NO USAR la unidad en corriente contínua. Seguir las indicaciones dadas en el capítulo Precauciones. NO USAR la unidad, a menos que esté puesta a tierra correctamente.

Mantenimiento
Cuidado y limpieza de la unidad calefactora Hydrocollator
La Hydrocollator tiene un elemento de calefacción de inmersión y un termostato capilar que matiene constante la temperatura de los HotPacs en el agua, con lo cual se consigue un suministro contaste de HotPacs listos para el tratamiento. Uno de los puntos críticos a observar es el mantener el nivel del agua por encima del elemento para evitar dañar el elemento en sí, el acero inoxidable o los Hotpacs. Durante la operación el calor causa una constante reducción del volúmen de agua en la unidad, lo que hace necesario añadir agua todos ls días. Será también necesario vaciar y limpiar el tanque en forma sistemática, por lo menos cada dos (2) semanas.
Se debe siempre desenchufar la unidad de la corriente eléctrica antes de limpiarla o vaciarla. Para vaciar la unidad utilizar la válvula de drenaje que se encuentra en la parte inferior trasera de la misma. Para ello, llevar la unidad hacia un desagúe o utilizar su manguera de esagúe.
La unidad calefactora Hydrocollator está construída con la mejor calidad de acero inoxidable y debería durar toda una vida. Este acero es inoxidable, pero no a prueba de manchas. La unidad calefactora Hydrocollaror debe cuidarse adecuadamente si se desea que dure toda la vida. Y esa es la manera de lograrlo.
Para que la Unidad Calefactora Hydrocollator dure y dure deberán tomarse las siguientes medidas:
1. El cloro es fatal para el acero inoxidable. No limpiar nunca con lejía ni con ningún líquido de limpieza que tenga un alto contenido de cloro.
2. Limpiar la unidad a intervalos regulares para que dure muchos años. NOTA. Si no se mantuviese este equipo correctamente, lo que incluye su limpieaza periódica, ello invalida nuestra garantía.
3. Llenar la unidad con agua todos los días. La evaporación causa una pérdida constante del agua.
4. La concentración de cloro en el agua de la canilla puede ser tan alta que pueda herrumbrar la unidad. En los casos en que se llegase a sospechar que el agua en el Hydrocollator tuviese alto contenido de cloro, recomendamos la instalaciónde un declorinador.
5. Algunos aditivos, tales como tés de hierbas o aceites esenciales, pueden llegar a dañar los componentes de la unidad calefactora, incluído el acero inoxidable. La Unidad Calefactora Hydrocollator ha sido diseñada para calentar solmente agua y HotPacs.
Para evitar cualquier posibilidad de oxidación
1. No usar lejías ni artículos de limpieza que tengan un alto contenido de cloro.
2. No usar sujeta papeles, grampas, imperdibles, perchas, etc en el interior ni posarlas sobre la unidad.
3. No limpiar la unidad con esponjas de lana de acero ni con cepillos de acero.
4. No usar artículos de limpieza abrasivos, que puedan dañar la apariencia del acabado.
5. El nivel del agua es un punto crítico. Agregar agua todos los días y mantener el tanque lleno.
6. Limpiar y vaciar el tanque en forma regular (cada dos semanas)
7. Sacar cuaquier depósito que se vea en cualquiera de las superficies y partes internas de la unidad. Esos depósitos con concentraciones de cloro que facilitan el comienzo del herrumbre.. Si se dejasen dichos depósitos en los elementos calefactores, ellos disminuyen la eficiencia del elemento y aumentan el consumo de energía eléctrica.
8. Si se llegase a sospechar aguas duras, se deberá cambiar el agua mas frecuentemente. En el caso de aguas duras se producirán depósitos de sales que finalmente causarán herrumbres.
Sugestiones para la limpieza.
1. El interior de la unidad deberá limpiarse, generalmente cada dos semanas, usando un agente para limpieza de cuartos de baño, de baja acción abrasiva. Se deberá tener la seguridad de que el producto de limpieza que se utilice no contiene cloro o de que su contenido de cloro es realmente bajo. Asegurarse también de que los residuos de la limpieza son totalmente enjuagados y que el interior quede completamente limpio.
2. El uso de una fuerte solución de agua y vinagre generalmente disolverá los depósitos, luego de lo cual deberá enjuagarse cuidadosamente la unidad.
3. Para mantener el brillo del exterior de la unidad utilizar el limpiador y cera para pulir` acero inoxidable de Hydrocollator

Cuidado De Los HotPacs
SIEMPRE se debe volver a colocar los hotpacs en el agua caliente de la unidad después de cada tratamiento. Así se les mantendrá calientes, limpios y prontos parea ser usados nuevamente. Los packs se pueden hervir, pero ello acelera su teterioración. Los pacs pueden lavarse con agua y jabón. El método más simple de mantener los pacs limpios es de mantenerlos sumergidos en agua.
Usado constantemente todos los días, el HotPac puede durar por lo menos un año. Cuando el pack comienza a gastarse comienza a perder el relleno, que se escapa a través de los intersticios de la tela. Esto se nota porque algunas partes de pack aparecen como sueltas y vacías y no retienen el calor como se debe. Cuando el pack alcanza este estado se le debe remplazar. Se pueden colocar pedidos de HotPacs Hydrocollator con cualquier vendedor autorizado por Chattanoog Group, Inc.
NOTA: Si los HotPacs debiesen guardarse por largos periodos de tiempo, se les puede colocar (aún húmedos) en una bolsa de plástico y guardarlos en un congelador.
Diagnósticos
La tabla siguiente debe usarse como guía para la solución de problemas de menor entidad que puedan presentarse. Cualquier otro tipo de problema que se descubra debe ser resuelto solamente por personal calificado.

Garanzia
Chattanooga Group Inc. (la "Società) garantisce che gli apparecchi riscaldanti Hydrocollator® (il "Prodotto") sono privi di difetti di materiale e di fabbricazione. Questa garanzia è valida per un periodo di un (1) anno dalla data dell'acquisto originale del Prodotto da parte del consumatore, ed è estesa a qualsiasi proprietario del Prodotto durante il suddetto periodo di garanzia. In caso che il Prodotto venisse meno nel funzionamento durante il periodo di garanzia, a causa di difetti di materiale o di fabbricazione, la Società o il rivenditore sostituirà o riparerà il Prodotto senza onere, entro un periodo di trenta giorni dalla data in cui il Prodotto difettivo è stato restituito alla Società o al rivenditore. La Società o il rivenditore provvederà alla riconsegna della sostituzione o della riparazione alla sede del consumatore. Tutte le riparazioni devono essere effettuate da un centro d'assistenza autorizzato dal Gruppo Chattanooga Inc. Qualsiasi modifica o riparazione eseguita da centri d'assistenza o da gruppi non autorizzati, annullerà la presente garanzia. Per rientrare nella copertura della garanzia, la carta di registrazione della garanzia per il Prodotto (compresa nel Prodotto) deve essere riempita e spedita alla Chattanooga Group Inc. dal proprietario originale entro dieci giorni lavorativi dalla data d'acquisto.
Questa garanzia non copre:

La Società non sarà responsabile per danni fortuiti o consequenziali provocati a proprietà o enti commerciali.
Alcuni stati non prevedono l'esclusione o la limitazione della clausola relativa ai danni fortuiti o consequenziali, perciò la limitazione od esclusione sopracitata potrebbe non essere relativa nel vostro caso. Questo manuale è stato compilato per i proprietari ed operatori degli apparecchi riscaldanti Hydrocollator. Contiene le istruzioni generali sull'operazione, sulle precauzioni da adottare, sulla manutenzione ed informazione sui pezzi di ricambio. In modo da assicurare il massimo beneficio nell'operazione, nell'efficienza e nella vita dei vostri apparecchi riscaldanti Hydrocollator, leggere attentamente questo manuale, e seguire tutte le istruzioni prima di mettere in funzione l'apparecchio.
Le specifiche comunicate in questo manuale sono state valide al momento della pubblicazione. Dovuto, in ogni modo alla politica del Gruppo Chattanooga di aggiornare continuamente, cambiamenti possono verificarsi in qualsiasi momento senza alcun obbligo da parte della Chattanooga Group Inc.
Istruzioni Precauzionali
1. ATTENZIONE: Leggere, capire e praticare le istruzioni precauzionali ed operative. Conoscere le limitazioni relative agli apparecchi riscaldanti Hydrocollator. Rispettare le decalcomanie cauzionali ed operative installate sull'apparecchio.
2. ATTENZIONE: Il termostato è estremamente sensibile e la più lieve modifica cambierà la temperatura da parecchi gradi. La temperatura operativa raccomandata è 160° F a 166° F (71° C a 74° C). La temperatura dell'acqua deve essere controllata con un termometro dopo ogni regolazione, prima di utilizzare gli HotPacsTM. Far passare sempre tempo sufficiente affinché la temperatura dell'acqua si stabilizza.
3. ATTENZIONE: Tenere SEMPRE il livello dell'acqua al di sopra degli HotPacs in modo da evitare che si bruciano o si scottano.
4. ATTENZIONE: Non permettere MAI che gli HotPacs si asciugano dopo che sono stati utilizzati.
5. ATTENZIONE: Controllare il livello dell'acqua ogni giorno in quanto si disperde naturalmente a causa dell'evaporazione.
6. ATTENZIONE: Non aggiustare MAI il termostato a grado troppo alto. Il termostato è estremamente sensibile alla più lieve modifica.
7. ATTENZIONE: Pulire periodicamente la vasca, attenendosi alla sezione manutenzione di questo manuale.
8. ATTENZIONE: Sostituire SEMPRE gli Hydrocollator HotPacs non appena cominciano a mostrare l'usura.
9. ATTENZIONE: In caso che l'apparecchio si deve lasciare senza sorveglianza per un certo periodo di tempo, disinserire, togliere i pacchi, svuotare l'acqua e pulire la vasca.
10. ATTENZIONE: Utilizzare SEMPRE i pezzi di ricambio autorizzati dalla fabbrica.
11. ATTENZIONE: Distruggere e sostituire SEMPRE gli HotPac che sono stati esposti alla contaminazione.
12. ATTENZIONE: Certe sostanze aggiuntive (come il te d'erbe, l'olio essenziale, ecc.) possono provocare danni alla resistenza riscaldante, al termostato ed all'acciaio inox dell'apparecchio. Utilizzando tali sostanze aggiuntive annullerà la garanzia del produttore.
13. AVVERTENZA: Inserire gli HotPacs nello scaffale prima di riempire la vasca con acqua, per assicurare il corretto funzionamento dell'apparecchio riscaldante, nonché il livello idoneo dell'acqua. Nel caso in cui si utilizza l'acqua distillata, è assolutamente indispensabile inserire prima gli HotPacs nell'apparecchio.
14. AVVERTENZA: Le alte concentrazioni di cloro che avvengono nell' acqua regolare proveniente dal rubinetto possono dannegiare l'apparecchio facendolo arruginire. Dobbiamo consigliare la pulizia regolare dell'apparecchio. Se ritiene possibile l'esistenza d'un livello alto di cloro nell'apparecchio riscaldate Hydrocollator, consigliamo l'aggiunta d'un agente declorurante.
15. AVVERTENZA: Messa a terra dell'apparecchio Hydrocollator: Accertare che l'apparecchio è messo a terra elettricamente, inserendo la spina in una presa elettrica di grado ospedaliero, con una morsettiera per il terminale messo a terra. (presa sotterranea, solamente 120 VAC). Attenersi al Codice Nazionale Elettrico.
16. AVVERTENZA: La temperatura dell'acqua nell'Hydrocollator è circa 160° F (71° C), e la temperatura scaldante dell'acqua è circa 120° F (49° C).

Instruzioni Operative
Il Hydrocollator è facile e semplice da operare. I comandi si trovano sulla parte posteriore, vicino al fondo dell'apparecchio. Il termostato controlla la temperatura dell'acqua e si trova vicino al fondo dell'apparecchio sul panello di comando. Il collaudo e la predisposizione alla normale temperatura operativa sono stati effettuati in officina. Nel caso sono richieste ulteriori modifiche, si possono effettuare facilmente, girando la vite di regolazione sul termostato. Si abbassa la temperatura girando la vite esterna in senso antiorario, mentre si aumenta la temperatura girandola in senso orario.
NOTA: Non girare la vite interna.
Gli apparecchi Hydrocollator operano tramite un termostato idraulico di tipo capillare, e si possono lasciare collegati ed accesi in modo da provvedere una fornitura sempre pronta di HotPacs riscaldati.
Lo scaffaletto HotPacTM è regolabile e si adatta ai diversi tipi e dimensioni dei pacchi.
Apparecchio SS-2 - Si regola introducendo l'inserto e lasciandolo fuori. L'apparecchio è fornito insieme con otto HotPacs di dimensioni standard.
Apparecchi M2 e M4 - Si regola inserendo la piattaforma sospesa. L'apparecchio M-2 è fornito insieme con dodici HotPacs di dimensioni standard, mentre il M-4 è fornito da 24 HotPacs di dimensioni standard.
Apparecchio E-1- Si regola introducendo l'inserto (lamiera sottile) o lasciandolo fuori. Mentre l'inserto sta dentro, lo scaffale accoglie quattro pacchi di dimensioni standard.
Apparecchio E2- Si regola inserendo la piattaforma sospesa. L'apparecchio E-2 è fornito insieme con due pacchi di dimensioni sovradimensionati, tre standard ed un contorno al collo.
Apparecchio SS - Accoglie otto HotPac di dimensioni standard. Scaffale speciale accoglie due pacchi del contorno al collo.
Strumenti Indicatori E Di Comando
LAMPADINA BIANCA (sugli apparecchi di 120 volt del modello M-2) oppure
LAMPADINA VERDE (sugli apparecchi di 220/240 volt), quando illuminata, indica che l'alimentazione è collegata, l'interruttore è ACCESO e l'apparecchio sta funzionando.
LAMPADINA ROSSA (se nel caso), quando illuminata, avverte che esiste una condizione di surriscaldamento/ acqua bassa. Si devono prendere dei passi per correggere la condizione.

Installazione
Togliere tutto quanto contenuto nell'Hydrocollator e rimettere lo scaffale a rete ed installare gli HotPacs. Accertare che la valvola di drenaggio è chiusa prima di riempire la vasca con acqua. La vasca si può riempire tramite qualsiasi rubinetto standard.
Controllare il voltaggio sulla targa decalcomania che si trova sulla parte posteriore dell'apparecchio. Per accendere, inserire semplicemente la spina in una presa di 120 volt~, 60 Hz oppure 220 - 240 volt~, 50 - 60 Hz, secondo quanto indicato sulla targa sopraindicata. Per spegnere, disinserire dall'alimentazione corrente. NON cercare di utilizzare corrente continua. Attenersi alle procedure indicate nelle istruzioni precauzionali. NON utilizzare l'apparecchio se non messo a terra in modo adeguato.

Manutenzione
Cura e pulizia del Apparecchio Riscaldante Hydrocollator.
L'Hydrocollator è dotato di un riscaldatore a immersione e un termostato idraulico tipo capillare che mantiene uniforme la temperatura degli HotPacs nell'acqua e garantisce una riserva di pacchi riscaldati. E indispensabile mantenere il livello dell'acqua al di sopra degli HotPacs per non danneggiare il riscaldatore, l'acciao inox o gli HotPacs. L'acqua si perde continuamente durante il funzionamento a causa dell'evaporazione. Per questo motivo, aggiungere l'acqua ogni giorno. La vasca deve essere drenata e pulita periodicamente, almeno ogni due (2) settimane. Disinserire l'apparecchio dalla presa elettrica prima di svuotare o cominciare le pulizie. Drenare l'Hydrocollator tramite la valvola di drenaggio che si trova sulla parte posteriore a fondo dell'apparecchio. Spostare l'apparecchio ad un canale scarico o collegare un tubo fino al canale per effettuare il drenaggio. L' apparecchio riscaldante Hydrocollator è fabbricato dall'acciaio inox e dovrebbe durare una vita. Questo è acciaio inossidabile, non un acciaio antimacchia. Deve avere grande cura del apparecchio riscaldate Hydrocollator se vuole che dura una vita intera, che è possibile. Segua queste semplici misure per assicurare che l'apparecchio riscaldate Hydrocollator abbia una vita lunga.
1. Il cloro distrugge l'acciaio inox. Non usare candeggianti o detersivi con alto contenuto di cloro. 2. L'apparecchio deve essere pulito regolarmente per durare molti anni. NOTA: La mancanza della manutenzione al

l'apparecchio facendolo arruginire. Se ritiene possibile l'esistenza d'un livello alto di cloro nell'apparecchio riscaldate Hydrocollator, consigliamo l'aggiunta d'un agente declorurante. 5. Certi additivi (per esempio infusioni di erbe, olii essenziali, ecc.) danneggiano i componenti dell'apparecchio riscaldante, e l'acciaio. L'apparecchio riscaldate Hydrocollator è progettato solo per il riscaldamento dell'acqua e degli Hotpacs.
Modi per evitare la possibilità della ruggine.
1, Non usare candeggianti o detersivi con alti contenuti di cloro. 2. Non mettere graffette, fermagli, punti metallici, attaccapanni, ecc., dentro o sull'apparecchio. 3. Non pulire l'apparecchio con paglietta o spazzola d'acciaio di carbonio 4. Non utilizzare depuratori abrasivi che possono rovinare la grana del metallo. 5. Il livello dell' acqua è critico. Aggiungere acqua ogni giorno e fare in modo che sia sempre pieno. 6. Pulire e scaricare regolarmente la vasca (ogni due settimane) 7. Togliere tutti i depositi dalle superfici interne e dai pezzi (compreso il riscaldatore). I depositi di residui sono
concentrazioni di cloro che permettono la ruggine. Se lascia accumulare sul riscaldatore, questi depositi faranno diminuire l'efficienza del riscaldatore e aumenteranno il consumo d'energia dell' apparecchio. 8. Se ritiene possibile di avere "l'acqua dura", sará necessario cambiare l'acqua più frequentemente. Depositi di sale sono un' indicazzione che l'acqua è dura e che infine finirá per arrugginire.
Consigli per la pulizia
1. L'interno dell'apparecchio deve essere lavato accuratamente ogni due settimane, utilizzando un detersivo leggero da bagno. Controllare che il detersivo contiene niente o poco cloro e assicurare che il residuo è completamente risciacquato con l'acqua.
2. Una soluzione d'acéto ed acqua può di solito sciogliere i residui depositati, che poi devono essere completamente risciacquati con l'acqua.
3. Per mantenere la lucentezza dell' acciaio inox all' esterno, utilizzare l'Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish.

Manutenzione degli HotPacs
Restituire SEMPRE gli HotPac Hydrocollator nell'acqua calda dell'apparecchio riscaldante dopo ogni cura, dove sono riscaldati, puliti e sempre pronti per l'uso immediato. Gli HotPac possono essere bolliti, però questo può accelerare l'usura del pacco. Si possono anche pulire, fregando con acqua e sapone. La maniera più semplice per mantenere la pulizia del pacco è di conservarlo immerso nell'acqua.
Gli HotPac Hydrocollator, utilizzati giornalmente, dovrebbero avere una durata di vita di almeno un anno. Quando il pacco comincia ad esaurirsi, il riempitivo trasuderà e perderà tramite il tessuto e certe zone del pacco sembreranno sciolti e vuoti, non ritenendo il calore regolarmente. Il pacco deve essere sostituito quando raggiunge questa condizione. Per la sostituzione degli HotPac Hydrocollator, ordinare tramite un agente autorizzato della Chattanooga Group Inc.
NOTA: se gli HotPac devono essere conservati per periodi lunghi, si possono mettere in buste di plastica mentre sono bagnati e conservati nel congelatore.
Eliminazione Guasti

O Chattanooga Group, Inc. (a "Empresa") garante que os Aparelhos de Aquecimento Hydrocollator® (o "Produto") estão livres de defeitos materiais ou de manufatura. Esta garantia permanecerá em vigor por um (1) ano, a contar da data da compra original, pelo consumidor, deste Produto e se estende a todos os proprietários do Produto durante o período de garantia. Na eventualidade deste produto deixar de funcionar durante o período da garantia de um ano, devido a defeito material ou de manufatura, a Empresa ou o agente de venda reparará ou substituirá este Produto gratuitamente até 30 dias da data na qual o Produto defeituoso foi devolvido à Empresa ou ao agente de vendas. A Empresa ou o agente tratarão de enviar o Produto reparado ou substituto para as instalações do consumidor. Todas as reparações devem ser efetuadas por um centro de reparações aprovado pelo Chattanooga Group, Inc. Leia, faça por compreender e pratique as instruções de precaução e de funcionamento. Informe-se das limitações associadas com os aparelhos de aquecimento Hydrocollator Master. Observe os decalques de advertência e de funcionamento instalados no aparelho.
O termóstato é extremamente sensível ao mais pequeno ajustamento e pode alterar a temperatura até vários graus. A temperatura de funcionamento recomendada é de 160° F a 166° F (71° to 74° C). A temperatura da água deve ser controlada com um termômetro depois de cada ajustamento, antes de usar os HotPacs. Permita sempre que a temperatura da água se estabilize.
Mantenha o nível da água SEMPRE acima dos HotPacs para evitar que estes se queimem ou se escaldem.
NUNCA permita que os HotPacs se sequem após o uso.
Verifique o nível da água todos os dias, para controlar a sua perda natural pela evaporação.
NUNCA fixe o termóstato a uma temperatura demasiadamente elevada. O termóstato é extremamente sensível ao mais pequeno ajustamento.
Limpe o tanque periodicamente, de acordo com as instruções de manutenção neste manual.
Substitua os HotPacs Hydrocollator SEMPRE que se revelem sinais de desgaste.
Se não pretende usar o aparelho por um certo tempo, desligue da eletricidade, retire os HotPacs, esvazie a água e limpe o tanque.
Use SEMPRE peças sobressalentes homologadas pela fábrica.
Deve destruir e substituir os HotPacs SEMPRE que estes sejam expostos a contaminação.
Certos aditivos (tal como chás de erva, óleo de essência, etc.) irão danificar o elemento de aquecimento o termóstato e o aço inoxidável do aparelho. O uso destes aditivos pode invalidar a garantia do fabricante.
Instale os Hotpacs na prateleira antes de encher o tanque de água para assegurar o funcionamento adequado do aparelho bem como o nível da água. Se usar água destilada, é imperativo que os HotPacs sejam colocados primeiro no aparelho.
É possível que a água normal da torneira contenha uma concentração de cloro suficientemente elevada para danificar o seu aparelho, provocando a ferrugem. É imprescindível limpar o seu aparelho com regularidade.Se houver suspeita de níveis elevados de cloro no seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator, recomendamos que junte agente descloronizador.
Ligação à terra dos aparelhos de aquecimento Hydrocollator Master: Para se assegurar que o aparelho está ligado à terra, ligue a uma fonte de energia de potência hospitalar com uma tomada terminal de terra (saída de massa em U, 120 VAC só). Siga o Código Elétrico Nacional.
A temperatura da água no Hydrocollatorâ é de aproximadamente 160° F (71° C), e a temperatura de escaldadura é de aproximadamente 120° F (49° C).

Instruções Gerais para Operação
O Hydrocollator é de operação fácil e simples. Os comandos estão localizados nas traseiras, no fundo do aparelho. O termóstato, que controla a temperatura da água, está localizado no fundo do aparelho no painel de controlo. Este foi testado e pré fixado na fábrica a uma temperatura normal de funcionamento. Caso seja necessário, este é fácil de regular ajustando o parafuso no termóstato. Virando o parafuso em direcção dos ponteiros do relógio aumenta a temperatura e virando-o em sentido inverso reduz a temperatura.
NOTA: Não vire a haste interior.
Os aparelhos Hydrocollator funcionam através dum termóstato hidráulico, tipo capilar, que pode permanecer ligado à eletricidade com o botão na posição "ON" a fim de proporcionar o fornecimento constante de HotPacsTM quentes.
A prateleira dos HotPac pode ser ajustada de forma a que nela possam ser colocados HotPacs de todos os tamanhos e tipos.
Aparelho SS-2 - Para o ajustamento, pode escolher colocar, ou não, a divisão da prateleira. O aparelho é vendido com oito HotPacs de tamanho padrão.
Aparelhos M-2 e M-4 - O ajustamento é efetuado através da inserção do estrado suspenso. O aparelho M-2 é vendido completo com 12 HotPacs de tamanho padrão. O aparelho M-4 é vendido completo com 24 HotPacs de tamanho padrão.
Aparelho E-1- Para o ajustamento, pode escolher colocar, ou não, a divisão da prateleira (chapa metallica). Com a divisão, cabem quatro HotPacs de tamanho normal na prateleira.
Aparelho E-2 - O ajustamento é efetuado através da inserção do estrado suspenso. O aparelho E-2 é vendido completo com dois HotPacs de tamanho grande, três de tamanho padrão e um de Contorno do Pescoço.
Aparelho SS - Segura oito HotPacs de tamanho padrão. Uma prateleira especial segura dois HotPacs de Contorno do Pescoço.
Indicadores e Comandos
LUZ BRANCA: (em dispositivo de 120 volts do modelo M-2 model) ou
LUZ VERDE:
(em dispositivo de 220/240 volts), quando acessa, indica ligação à fonte principal de energia, que o botão está na posição "ON" e que o aparelho está em funcionamento.
LUZ VERMELHA: (se aplicável), quando acessa, adverte sobre uma condição de sobreaquecimento/nível baixo de água. É necessário tomar medidas para retificar esta situação.
IMPORTANTE: Alguns modelos possuem um termóstato de corte térmico do tipo que não se reajusta automaticamente. Na eventualidade pouco provável de falha, este aparelho foi concebido para abrir o circuito elétrico entre 180° F e 185° F (82° C a 85° C). É IMPOSSÍVEL alterar esta margem de funcionamento. O aparelho pode ser posto de novo em funcionamento, carregando no botão vermelho depois de ter deixado resfriar a água/o elemento. Caso o aparelho continue avariado, contate o Chattanooga Group, Inc. ou um agente aprovado.

Montagem
Tire todos os conteúdos do Hydrocollator e reponha a grade e instalar os HotPacs. Assegure-se que a válvula de escoamento está fechada antes de encher o tanque com água. O tanque pode ser enchido a partir de qualquer torneira normal.
Verifique a tensão nominal na placa de série do fabricante localizada nas traseiras do aparelho. Para pôr o aparelho em funcionamento, basta ligar a uma tomada de 120 Volt~, 60 Hz ou 220-240 Volt~, a 50-60Hz, conforme indicado na placa. Para desligar o aparelho, basta desligar da fonte principal de energia. NUNCA tente usar corrente contínua. Siga os procedimentos indicados nas Precauções. NUNCA ponha o aparelho a funcionar sem que este esteja adequadamente ligado à terra.

O Cuidado e a Limpeza do seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator
O Hydrocollator vem apetrechado com um elemento de aquecimento de imersão e um termóstato hidráulico capilar que mantém os HotPacs a uma temperatura constante na água e proporciona uma disponibilidade constante de HotPacs quentes. É imprescindível manter os HotPacs cobertos de água para evitar danificar o elemento de aquecimento, o aço inoxidável ou os HotPacs. O calor provoca uma redução contínua da água devido à evaporação, pelo que deve ser juntada água todos os dias. É também importante drenar e limpar sistematicamente o tanque, pelo menos de duas (2) em duas semanas.
Desligue sempre o aparelho da fonte de energia antes de o esvaziar ou limpar. Drene o Hydrocollator através da válvula de escoamento nas traseiras do aparelho. Pode transferir o aparelho perto dum dreno de chão ou ligar um tubo ao aparelho para facilitar a drenagem.
O seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator é fabricado de aço inoxidável de elevada qualidade que deve durar uma vida inteira. Não se trata de aço à prova de manchas, mas sim de aço inoxidável. Deve tomar todos os devidos cuidados com o seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator se quer que lhe dure uma vida - o que é possível.
Tome as seguintes medidas para assegurar a longa duração do seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator.
1. O cloro é o fim para o aço inoxidável. Não use lixívia ou produtos de limpeza com um teor elevado de cloro.
2. Limpe o aparelho com freqüência se quer que este dure anos a fio. NOTA: A não observância das instruções de manutenção (e de limpeza regular) nulifica a garantia.
3. Encha de água todos os dias. A evaporação provoca a redução contínua do nível da água.
4. É possível que a água normal da torneira contenha uma concentração de cloro suficientemente elevada para danificar o seu aparelho, provocando a ferrugem. Se houver suspeita de níveis elevados de cloro no seu Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator, recomendamos que junte agente descloronizador.
5. Certos aditivos (tal como chás de ervas e óleos de essência) danificam os componentes do aparelho de aquecimento, inclusive o aço inoxidável. O Aparelho de Aquecimento Hydrocollator foi concebido para aquecer apenas água e os HotPacs.
Como evitar a ferrugem
1. Não use lixívia ou produtos de limpeza com um teor elevado de cloro.
2. Não use clipes de papel, alfinetes de segurança, agrafos, cabides, etc., dentro ou sobre o aparelho.
3. Não limpe o aparelho com um esfregão ou escova de aço de carbono.
4. Não use produtos de limpeza abrasivos, pois estes têm a tendência para disturbar a textura do acabamento.
5. O nível da água constitui uma consideração crítica. Junte água todos os dias e mantenha o aparelho cheio.
6. Limpe e drene o tanque com regularidade (de duas em duas semanas).
7. Retire todos os depósitos das superfícies e peças interiores (inclusive do elemento de aquecimento). Os depósitos são concentrações de depósitos de cloro que provocam a ferrugem. A acumulação destes no elemento de aquecimento reduz a taxa de rendimento do elemento e aumenta o consumo de energia do aparelho.
8. Caso suspeite ter "água dura", é possível que tenha que mudar a água com mais freqüência. Os depósitos de sal são indicação de água quente que, eventualmente, dará origem a ferrugem.
Dicas para a limpeza
1. O interior do aparelho deve ser esfregado, geralmente de duas em duas semanas, com um produto suave de limpeza de banheiros. Tente usar um produto de limpeza com baixo teor de cloro e certifique-se que retira todos os resíduos com água.
2. Uma solução de vinagre e água normalmente dissolve todos os depósitos, que depois devem ser completamente retirados com água.
3. Para manter o brilho do exterior de aço inoxidável, use os produtos de limpeza e brilho "Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Cleaner" e "Hydrocollator Stainless Steel Polish".

Cuidado Dos HotPacs
Torne SEMPRE a colocar os HotPacs Hydrocollator na água quente do aparelho de aquecimento depois de cada tratamento, onde é mantido quente, limpo e pronto para uso imediato. Os HotPacs podem ser fervidos, mas isto acelera a sua deterioração. Pode também esfregar os HotPacs com água e sabão, mas a maneira mais fácil de manter os HotPacs limpos é de os manter submersos em água.
Cada HotPac Hydrocollator, usado todos os dias, deverá ter uma vida útil de, pelo menos, um ano. Quando começa a se desgastar, o material de enchimento começa a vazar e a passar pelo tecido da embalagem, enquanto que algumas secções do HotPac parecem flácidas e vazias, não retendo o calor adequadamente. Estes HotPacs devem ser substituídos quando chegarem a este estado. HotPacs sobressalentes, originais, podem ser encomendados de um agente autorizado do Chattanooga Group Inc..
NOTA: Os HotPacs a armazenar por longos períodos de tempo devem ser colocados - ainda molhados - em sacos de plástico num congelador.

Chattanooga Group, Inc. ("Producenten") garanterer, at Hydrocollator® varmeenheder ("Produktet") ikke er behæftet med fejl med hensyn til materiale og udførelse. Denne garanti er gyldig et (1) år fra den oprindelige købers indkøbsdato for Produktet og kan overdrages enhver ejer af Produktet i garantiperioden. Hvis Produktet får funktionsfejl i den et år lange garantiperiode på grund af defekter med hensyn til materiale eller udførelse, påtager Producenten eller forhandleren sig at ombytte eller reparere dette Produkt uden omkostning inden for en periode på 30 dage fra den dato, det defekte Produkt returneres til Producenten eller forhandleren. Producenten eller forhandleren sender nyt eller repareret Produkt til kunden.
Alle reparationer skal udføres af et servicecenter, som er autoriseret af Chattanooga Group, Inc. Alle ændringer eller reparationer, som udføres af ikke-autoriserede værksteder eller reparatører medfører ophævelse af garantien. For at garantien skal træde i kraft skal Produktets garantibevis (medleveret Produktet) udfyldes af den retmæssige ejer og indsendes til Chattanooga Group, Inc. senest 10 hverdage efter købsdatoen.

Sikkerhedsforanstaltninger
1. TÆNK PÅ: Læs og forstå anvisningerne for sikkerhed og anvendelse og følg dem. Tag hensyn til begrænsninger i forbindelse med brug af Hydrocollator, og følg anvisningerne for sikkerhed og drift på etiketterne.
2. TÆNK PÅ:
Termostaten er yderst følsom, og ved mindste justering ændres temperaturen flere grader. Anbefalet driftstemperatur er 71-74°C. Vandtemperaturen bør kontrolleres med et termometer efter hver justering, før HotPacs tages i brug. Lad altid tilstrækkelig tid gå, så vandtemperaturen når at stabilisere sig.
3. TÆNK PÅ: Sørg ALTID for, at vandet dækker alle HotPacs, for at undgå at HotPacs brænder eller svider.
4. TÆNK PÅ: Lad ALDRIG HotPacs tørre efter anvendelse.
5. TÆNK PÅ: Kontroller vandniveauet dagligt, eftersom det falder på grund af fordampning.
6. TÆNK PÅ: Indstil ALDRIG termostaten på for høj temperatur. Termostaten er yderst følsom for den mindste justering.

13. BEMÆRK: Sæt HotPacs i stativet inden påfyldning af tanken, for at få tilfredsstillende funktion og korrekt vandniveau. Benyttes destilleret vand, er det vigtigt, at HotPacs sættes i enheden først.
14. BEMÆRK: Almindeligt vandværksvand kan indeholde så meget chlor, at apparatet ruster. Det er meget vigtigt, at enheden rengøres regelmæssigt. Hvis du mistænker, at chlorindholdet er højt i Hydrocollatoren anbefaler vi, at du tilsætter et middel for afchloring.
15. ADVARSEL: Jording af Hydrocollator: Kontrollér, at enheden er tilsluttet en jordet kontakt i henhold til gældende bestemmelser.

Almene anvisninger for anvendelse
Hydrocollator er nem at bruge. Reguleringerne er placerede længst nede på bagsiden af enheden, og vandtemperaturen styres med termostaten på kontrolpanelet nederst på apparatet. Termostaten er testet og indstillet på fabrikken på normal driftstemperatur, men eventuelle justeringer kan nemt gøres med hjælp af justeringsskruen på termostaten. Hvis den ydre skrue drejes mod uret, sænkes temperaturen; hvis den drejes med uret, forhøjes temperaturen.
OBS! Drej ikke den indre aksel.
Hydrocollator styres af en termostat af hydraulisk kapillærtype. Apparatet kan efterlades tilsluttet til elnettet og tændt "ON", så man altid har et lager af opvarmede HotPacs klar til brug.
Stativet kan tilpasses HotPacs af forskellige størrelser og typer.
SS-2: Apparatet tilpasses ved at placere stativindsatsen eller ved at undlade at placere den. Enheden leveres med otte standard-HotPacs.
M-2 og M-4: Apparaterne tilpasses ved at indføre den hængende platform. M-2 leveres med 12 standard-HotPacs. M-4 leveres med fuld opsætning på 24 HotPacs.
E-1: Apparatet tilpasses ved at placere stativindsatsen (metalplade) eller ved at undlade at placere den. Enheden leveres med fire standard HotPacs.
E-2: Apparaterne tilpasses ved at indføre den hængende platform. E-2 enheden bliver komplet med to store, tre standard og en Neck Contour Pack.

Indikatorer og reguleringer
TÆNDT HVID LAMPE: GRØN LAMPE:
TÆNDT RØD LAMPE:
(på 120-voltsapparater af M-2-modellen) eller (på 220/240-voltsapparater) indikerer, at apparatet er tilsluttet nettet, afbryderen står på "ON", og apparatet er i drift. (i forekommende tilfælde) advarer om overophedning eller lavt vandniveau. Tilstanden skal afhjælpes.
VIGTIGT: Visse modeller er udstyrede med en overophedningstermostat, som fungerer som en "ikke tilbagestillende" overophedningsbeskyttelse. Hvis en fejl mod forventning skulle opstå, bryder overophedningsbeskyttelsen strømmen, når temperaturen er mellem 82°C og 85°C. Det er IKKE muligt at ændre overophedningsbeskyttelsens arbejdsområde. Enheden kan tilbagestilles ved at trykke på den røde knap, når vandet og varmeelementet er afkølet. Hvis fejlen ikke er afhjulpet, skal Chattanooga Group, Inc. eller en repræsentant for virksomheden kontaktes.

Installation
Fjern alt, som er inde i Hydrocollator og sæt derefter trådstativet tilbage og installér HotPacs. Kontroller, at aftapningsventilen er lukket og fyld tanken med vand. Tanken kan fyldes med almindeligt vandværksvand.
Kontroller hvilken spænding, som angives på mærkeskiltet med serienummeret på bagsiden af apparatet. Slå apparatet til ved at tilslutte den til en vægkontakt for 120 Volt~, 60 Hz eller 220-240 Volt~, 50-60Hz, afhængig af mærkeskiltet. Sluk for apparatet ved at trække stikket ud. Tilslut IKKE apparatet til jævnstrøm. Følg anvisningerne i afsnittet Sikkerhedsforanstaltninger. Brug IKKE apparatet, hvis det ikke er ordentligt jordet.
Vedligeholdelse
Pleje og rengøring af Hydrocollator-varmebad
Hydrocollatoren er udstyret med et varmeelement, der er nedsænket i vand og en termostat af hydraulisk kapillærtype. Ved hjælp af disse holdes vandtemperaturen konstant, og du har hele tiden et forråd af varme HotPacs klar. Det er meget vigtigt, at vandet dækker HotPacs for at varmeelementet, det rustfrie stål eller HotPacs ikke skal beskadiges. Vandet forsvinder hele tiden under drift på grund af fordampning. Det er derfor meget vigtigt, at nyt vand tilføres dagligt. Tanken skal også tømmes og rengøres regelmæssigt, mindst hver anden uge.
Træk altid stikket ud, når du tømmer eller rengør apparatet. Tøm apparatet gennem aftapningsventilen, som findes længst nede på bagsiden. Flyt apparatet til et gulvafløb eller tilslut forlængerledningen ved tømning.
Hydrocollatoren er fremstillet af rustfrit stål af høj kvalitet, som bør holde i mange år. Det vil sige, det er rustfrit, men ikke rustsikkert. Det er derfor vigtigt at vedligeholde din Hydrocollator, hvis den skal holde i lang tid.
Nogle enkle foranstaltninger for, at Hydrocollatoren skal holde i lang tid:
1. Chlor er meget skadeligt for rustfrit stål. Anvend ikke blegemidler eller rengøringsmidler med højt chlorindhold.
2. Rengør apparatet regelmæssigt, hvis det skal holde i mange år. OBS! Hvis du ikke vedligeholder udstyret (hvilket omfatter regelmæssig rengøring), gælder garantien ikke.
3. Påfyld vand dagligt. Vandet forsvinder hele tiden ved fordampning.
4. Almindeligt vandværksvand kan indeholde så meget chlor, at apparatet ruster. Hvis du mistænker, at chlorindholdet er højt i Hydrocollatoren anbefaler vi, at du tilsætter et middel for afchloring.
5. Visse tilsætninger (som urtete og olieessenser) skader delene i Hydrocollatoren, herunder det rustfrie stål. Hydrocollatoren er kun beregnet til opvarmning af vand og HotPacs.

Sådan undgår du rust
1. Anvend ikke blegemidler eller rengøringsmidler med højt chlorindhold. 2. Anvend ikke kontorclips, sikkerhedsnåle, hæfteklammer, bøjler osv. i eller på apparatet. 3. Rengør ikke apparatet med ståluld eller stålbørste. 4. Anvend ikke slibende rengøringsmidler, som kan beskadige finishen. 5. Det er vigtigt, at vandniveauet ikke synker. Påfyld vand dagligt, så tanken hele tiden er fyldt. 6. Rengør og tøm tanken regelmæssigt (hver anden uge). 7. Fjern alle aflejringer fra indre overflader og dele (også varmeelementet). Aflejringerne er ophobninger af chlor, som
muliggør rustangreb. Hvis aflejringerne får lov til at samle sig på varmeelementet, mindsker de elementets virkningsgrad og forøger apparatets strømforbrug. 8. Hvis du mistænker, at du har "hårdt" vand, behøver du måske at udskifte vandet oftere. Saltaflejringer er et tegn på hårdt vand, som til sidst forårsager rust.
Rengøringsråd
1. Indersiden af apparatet skures, normalt hver anden uge, ved hjælp af et rengøringsmiddel med lav slibevirkning til badeværelser. Kontrollér, at midlet er chlorfrit eller kun indeholder lidt chlor, og sørg for, at resterne skylles ordentligt væk med vand.

Pleje af HotPacs
Læg ALTID tilbage HotPacs i det varme vand i Hydrocollator efter hver behandling. Der er de hele tiden varme, rene og klar til umiddelbar anvendelse. HotPacs kan koges, men dette medfører, at de slides hurtigere. HotPacs kan også rengøres ved at skrubbe med sæbe og vand. Den enkleste måde at holde dem rene på er imidlertid at opbevare dem nedsænkede i vand. Ved daglig anvendelse bør Hydrocollator HotPacs holde i mindst et år. Når de er udslidte, lækker indholdet ud gennem stoffet, så dele af HotPacs begynder at virke løse og tomme og ikke længere holder varmen. I sådanne tilfælde bør de udskiftes. Original-HotPacs for udskiftning kan bestilles fra autoriserede forhandlere af produkter fra Chattanooga Group Inc. OBS! Hvis HotPacs skal lagres en længere tid, kan de lægges i plastposer, mens de stadig er våde og fryses ned.

Chattanooga Group, Inc. ("Företaget") garanterar att Hydrocollator®-värmebaden ("Produkten") inte är behäftade med några material- eller tillverkningsfel. Denna garanti skall gälla i ett (1) år från det datum då produkten köptes av den ursprungliga kunden. Garantin följer med produkten till varje ny ägare under garantitiden. Om denna produkt upphör att fungera under garantitiden på grund av material- eller tillverkningsfel, byter företaget eller återförsäljaren ut eller reparerar produkten utan kostnad inom 30 dagar från det datum då den felaktiga produkten återlämnades till företaget eller återförsäljaren. Företaget eller återförsäljaren svarar för transporten av ersättningsprodukten eller den reparerade produkten till kunden. Alla reparationer måste utföras av en serviceverkstad som är auktoriserad av Chattanooga Group, Inc. Varje ändring eller reparation som utförs av icke auktoriserade verkstäder eller reparatörer medför att garantin inte gäller. För att garantin skall kunna utnyttjas måste produktens garantibevis (medföljer produkten) fyllas i och skickas till Chattanooga Group, Inc. av den ursprungliga ägaren inom tio arbetsdagar efter inköpsdagen.
Denna garanti täcker inte:

Förord
Denna bruksanvisning är skriven för användare av värmebaden Hydrocollator. Den innehåller allmänna anvisningar för användning, försiktighetsåtgärder och underhåll samt information om delar. För att värmebadet ska fungera på bästa sätt så länge som möjligt bör du läsa denna bruksanvisning noga och följa alla anvisningar innan du börjar använda apparaten.
De specifikationer som anges i bruksanvisningen gällde vid tryckningstillfället. Eftersom Chattanooga Group strävar efter att ständigt förbättra sina produkter, kan förändringar av dessa specifikationer göras när som helst utan föregående meddelande från Chattanooga Group, Inc.
Säkerhetsåtgärder
1. TÄNK PÅ: Försäkra dig om att du förstår anvisningarna för säkerhet och användning och följ dem. Tag hänsyn till begränsningar i värmebadets funktion, och följ anvisningarna för säkerhet och drift på märkskyltarna.
2. TÄNK PÅ:
Termostaten är ytterst känslig, och vid minsta justering ändras temperaturen flera grader. Rekommenderad drifttemperatur är 71-74° C. Vattentemperaturen bör kontrolleras med en termometer efter varje justering, innan HotPacsTM används. Vänta alltid så länge att vattentemperaturen hinner stabiliseras.
3. TÄNK PÅ: Se ALLTID till att vattnet täcker alla HotPacs, så att de inte bränns.
4. TÄNK PÅ: Låt ALDRIG HotPacs torka efter användning.
5. TÄNK PÅ: Kontrollera vattennivån dagligen, eftersom den sjunker på grund av avdunstning.
6. TÄNK PÅ: Ställ ALDRIG in termostaten på för hög temperatur. Termostaten är ytterst känslig för minsta justering.
7. TÄNK PÅ: Rengör tanken med jämna mellanrum enligt anvisningarna för underhåll i denna bruksanvisning.
8. TÄNK PÅ: Byt ALLTID ut HotPacs till Hydrocollator så snart de börjar bli slitna.

11. TÄNK PÅ: Byt ALLTID ut och förstör HotPacs som utsatts för kontaminering.
12. TÄNK PÅ: Vissa tillsatser (som örttéer, oljeessenser o.s.v.) skadar värmeelementet, termostaten och det rostfria stålet i värmebadet. Om sådana tillsatser används gäller inte tillverkarens garanti.
13. OBS!
Lägg HotPacs i racket innan du fyller tanken med vatten. Då kan du vara säker på att värmebadet fungerar som det ska och att vattennivån är rätt. Om du använder destillerat vatten är det absolut nödvändigt att HotPacs läggs i först.
14. OBS!
Vanligt vattenledningsvatten kan innehålla så mycket klor att apparaten rostar. Vi rekommenderar att du rengör värmebadet regelbundet Om du misstänker att klorhalten är hög i hydrocollatorn rekommenderar vi att du tillsätter ett medel för avklorering.
15. TÄNK PÅ: Värmebaden Hydrocollator® ska anslutas till ett jordat uttag.
16. TÄNK PÅ: Vattentemperaturen i Hydrocollator är ungefär 71° C och skållningstemperaturen för vatten är ungefär 49° C.

Allmänna anvisningar för användning
Hydrocollator är enkel att använda. Reglagen är placerade längst ner på baksidan, och vattentemperaturen styrs med termostaten på kontrollpanelen nederst på apparaten. Termostaten är provad och inställd på fabriken på normal drifttemperatur, men eventuella justeringar kan lätt göras med hjälp av justeringsskruven på termostaten. Om den yttre skruven vrids moturs sänks temperaturen, om den vrids medurs höjs temperaturen.
OBS! Vrid inte den inre axeln.
Värmebadet styrs av en termostat av hydraulisk kapillärtyp. Badet kan lämnas anslutet till elnätet och påslaget (i läge "ON"), så att man alltid har ett lager uppvärmda HotPacsTM till hands.
Racket kan anpassas till HotPacsTM av olika storlekar och typer.
SS-2: Apparaten kan anpassas med hjälp av rackinsatsen och levereras med åtta standard-HotPacs.
M-2 och M-4: Apparaterna anpassas med hjälp av en hängande plattform. M-2 levereras med 12 standard-HotPacs, M-4 med 24.
E-1: Apparaten kan anpassas med hjälp av rackinsatsen (plåt). När insatsen är isatt rymmer racket fyra standardHotPacsTM.
E-2: Apparaten anpassas med hjälp av en hängande plattform. E-2 levereras med två extra stora HotPacs, tre standardHotPacs och ett Neck Contour Pack för nacken.
SS: Rymmer åtta HotPacs av standardstorlek. Ett specialrack rymmer två Neck Contour Packs för nacken.
Indikatorer och reglage
TÄND VIT LAMPA: (på 120-voltsapparater av M-2-modellen) eller
GRÖN LAMPA:
(på 220/240-voltsapparater) indikerar att apparaten är ansluten till nätet, strömbrytaren är tillslagen och apparaten är i drift.
TÄND RÖD LAMPA: (i tillämpliga fall) varnar för överhettning eller låg vattennivå. Tillståndet måste åtgärdas.
VIKTIGT: Vissa modeller är utrustade med en överhettningstermostat som fungerar som ett "icke återställande" överhettningsskydd. Om ett fel mot förmodan skulle uppstå bryter överhettningsskyddet strömmen när temperaturen är mellan 82° C och 85° C. Det är INTE möjligt att ändra överhettningsskyddets arbetsområde. Apparaten kan åter tas i bruk genom att den röda knappen trycks in när vattnet och värmeelementet har svalnat. Om felet kvarstår ska Chattanooga Group, Inc. eller en representant för företaget kontaktas.

Installation
Ta bort allting som finns inuti Hydrocollator* och sätt sedan tillbaka trådracket och lägg i HotPacs. Kontrollera att avtappningsventilen är stängd och fyll. Tanken kan fyllas med vanligt vattenledningsvatten.
Kontrollera vilken spänning som anges på märkskylten med serienumret på baksidan av apparaten. Slå på apparaten genom att ansluta den till ett uttag för 120 volt~, 60 Hz eller 220-240 volt~, 50-60 Hz, beroende på märkskylten. Stäng av apparaten genom att dra ut stickkontakten. Anslut INTE apparaten till likström. Följ anvisningarna i avsnittet Säkerhetsåtgärder. Använd INTE apparaten om den inte är ordentligt jordad.

Underhåll
Skötsel och rengöring av hydrocollatorn
Hydrocollatorn är utrustad med ett värmeelement som är nedsänkt i vattnet och en termostat av hydraulisk kapillärtyp. Med hjälp av dessa hålls vattentemperaturen konstant och du har ständigt ett förråd av varma HotPacs till hands. Det är mycket viktigt att vattnet täcker HotPacs för att värmeelementet, det rostfria stålet eller HotPacs inte ska skadas. Vatten försvinner ständigt under drift på grund av avdunstning. Därför är det mycket viktigt att nytt vatten tillsätts dagligen. Tanken ska också tömmas och rengöras med jämna mellanrum, minst varannan vecka. Dra alltid ut stickkontakten från eluttaget när du tömmer eller rengör apparaten. Töm apparaten genom avtappningsventilen som finns längst ner på baksidan. Flytta apparaten till en golvbrunn eller anslut förlängningsslangen vid tömning. Hydrocollatorn är tillverkad av rostfritt stål av hög kvalité som bör hålla i många år. Det finns emellertid en del saker du måste tänka på för att undvika rostangrepp.
Några enkla åtgärder för att hydrocollatorn ska fungera utan problem:
1. Klor är mycket skadligt för rostfritt stål. Använd inte blekmedel eller rengöringsmedel med hög klorhalt. 2. Rengör apparaten regelbundet om du vill att den ska fungera i många år. OBS! Om du inte underhåller
utrustningen (vilket innefattar regelbunden rengöring) gäller inte garantin. 3. Fyll på vatten dagligen. Vatten försvinner ständigt genom avdunstning. 4. Vanligt vattenledningsvatten kan innehålla så mycket klor att apparaten rostar. Om du misstänker att klorhalten är
hög i hydrocollatorn rekommenderar vi att du tillsätter ett medel för avklorering. 5. Vissa tillsatser (som örttéer och oljeessenser) skadar delarna i hydrocollatorn, däribland det rostfria stålet.
Hydrocollatorn är endast avsedd för uppvärmning av vatten och HotPacs.
Så undviker du rost
1. Använd inte blekmedel eller rengöringsmedel med hög klorhalt. 2. Använd inte gem, säkerhetsnålar, häftklamrar, klädhängare o.s.v. i eller på apparaten. 3. Rengör inte apparaten med stålull eller stålborste. 4. Använd inte slipande rengöringsmedel som kan skada ytfinishen. 5. Det är viktigt att vattennivån inte sjunker. Fyll på vatten dagligen, så att tanken hela tiden är fylld. 6. Rengör och töm tanken regelbundet (varannan vecka). 7. Avlägsna alla avlagringar från inre ytor och delar (även värmeelementet). Avlagringarna är ansamlingar av klor, som
möjliggör rostangrepp. Om avlagringarna får samlas på värmeelementet minskar de elementets verkningsgrad och ökar apparatens strömförbrukning. 8. Om du misstänker att du har "hårt" vatten behöver du kanske byta vatten oftare. Saltavlagringar är ett tecken på hårt vatten som till slut orsakar rost.
Råd för rengöring
1. Insidan av apparaten ska skuras, vanligen varannan vecka, med hjälp av ett rengöringsmedel med låg slipverkan för badrum. Kontrollera att medlet är klorfritt eller endast innehåller lite klor, och se till att resterna sköljs bort ordentligt med vatten.
2. En stark lösning av ättika och vatten löser vanligen upp avlagringar, som sedan måste sköljas bort ordentligt med vatten.

Skötsel Av Hotpacs
Lägg ALLTID tillbaka HotPacs i det varma vattnet i värmebadet efter varje behandling. Där är de hela tiden varma, rena och klara för omedelbar användning. HotPacs kan kokas, men detta medför att de slits fortare. HotPacs kan också rengöras med tvål och vatten. Det enklaste sättet att hålla dem rena är emellertid att förvara dem nersänkta i vatten.
Vid daglig användning bör Hydrocollator HotPacs hålla minst ett år. När de börjar bli utslitna läcker innehållet ut genom väven, så att delar av HotPacs verkar lösa och tomma och inte längre håller värmen. I sådana fall bör de bytas ut. Original-HotPacs för utbyte kan beställas från auktoriserade återförsäljare av produkter från Chattanooga Group Inc.
OBS! Om HotPacs ska lagras en längre tid kan de läggas i plastpåsar medan de fortfarande är våta och frysas ner.
