Quick Release
Use your remote control as a handy detacher:
- Place the magnet side against the clasp to release it.
- Press and hold the button on the side to activate or deactivate the alarm.
Instructions
- To Turn Off the Tether Alarm: Decoder fits snugly to the alarm top. Press the red button on the side of the decoder. You should hear 3 beeps and the clear ring will flash red 3 times. The unit is disarmed. (BEEP-BEEP-BEEP spells O-F-F).
- To Re-Arm the Tether Alarm: Re-install the alarm top to the tether base. The unit will re-arm automatically. You will hear one beep and the clear ring will flash red to indicate it is active.
- Manual ON/Off Switch: Using the decoder, place on top of tether and push the red button to deactivate the alarm. Twist the top counterclockwise; the alarm will separate from the base. Flip the alarm top over and locate the switch on the underside. Push inwards to turn off. (IN = ON, OUT = OFF).
- Replacing the Battery: A light flashing every 25 seconds indicates low battery. Remove the top as described in #3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver and remove the screw on the underside of the red battery tray. Remove the tray. Replace the old CR2032 battery with a new CR2032 battery and re-insert the battery tray. Secure with the screw.
- The components of this tether are meant to be replaceable. If the tether is cut, SAVE THE ALARM TOP so it can be used for quick changes if the battery dies. You can also order just the base with the tether, saving money in replenishment.
- The PBR-MA510 will alarm if: The tether is cut or broken, the base is pulled off the fixture, an unauthorised detacher is used on the alarm top.
