Welcome to the AudioCast Pro series Wireless multi-room sound streamer. This manual contains safety and operating instructions to optimize performance.
Introduction
The AudioCast Pro is a WiFi and Bluetooth audio receiver with a built-in 24bit DAC, designed to provide a high-quality, easy-to-install, and configure audio streaming solution. It offers instant access to millions of music titles via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. With Spotify Connect, you can stream directly from the cloud, even when your mobile device is switched off. You can connect multiple IEAST products to your network and play music simultaneously in different rooms or the same music in all rooms.
Your AudioCast Pro features Spotify Connect, allowing you to control music playback using the Spotify app on your mobile, tablet, or PC. This seamless experience lets you take calls, play games, or switch off your phone without interrupting the music. For more information, visit spotify.com/connect. Interfaces and Function
The AudioCast Pro has the following interfaces and functions:
- 1 - Indicator light (Mode indicator): Power on: Green blink; Standby: Green-slow blink; Wi-Fi mode: green-solid; Bluetooth: blue light-solid.
- 2 - IR window: Receives infrared remote control signals.
- 3 - Ethernet: Connects the device through a network cable.
- 4 - Optical out: Supports up to 44.1KHz/16bit PCM.
- 5 - Stereo out: DAC decoding stereo output (3.5mm jack).
- 6 - Connect: Multi-function button. Short press to switch mode. Long press (green light) for 3s: Wi-Fi network configuration mode. Long press (blue light) for 3s: Bluetooth pairing mode.
- 7 - DC: 5V/1A power input.
Note: Please use accessories provided by the manufacturer. Ensure cables are connected firmly to avoid malfunction.
Remote control (optional)
The remote control is an optional accessory.
- Setup Button: Short press: Standby/on. Long press (white light) for 3s: Restore factory settings.
- Status Light: Green light long press for 3s: Wi-Fi network configuration mode. Blue light long press for 3s: Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Mute: Mute on/off.
- Volume Control: VOL+ and VOL- buttons for volume adjustment.
- Playback Controls: Play/Pause, Previous/Next song.
- Mode Buttons: Line in, Optical in, Bluetooth mode.
- 3D Mode: 3D mode on/off, 3D effects.
- Bass and Treble: Bass boost on/off, Treble increase/decrease, Bass increase/decrease.
- EQ Button: Switch preset EQ.
- Number keys: Switch audio programs that have been preset.
Note: The remote control supports AAA batteries. Remove batteries if not in use for a long time.
How It Works
The AudioCast Pro system connects various audio components for a multi-room audio experience.
Connections:
- Passive speakers connect to the Amp & Decoder via speaker cables.
- The Amp & Decoder connects to the AudioCast Pro via audio cables.
- The AudioCast Pro connects to the network via Ethernet cable to an Ethernet switch, or wirelessly via a 2.4/5g Wi-Fi Router.
- A TV can be connected to the Amp & Decoder.
- The system works with iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows devices.
- Cloud music services and NAS/Hi-Res Cloud storage can be accessed.
The system is Wi-Fi CERTIFIED and can connect up to 6 wireless multi-room audio receivers for multi-room or party mode.
The AudioCast App
The AudioCast App allows you to connect your product to the network using your smartphone or tablet. You can use multiple devices of the AudioCast brand simultaneously. The app is compatible with iOS and Android phones and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.
Search for "AudioCast" in the App Store or Google Play.
The AudioCast Controller app enables you to:
- Connect the product to the network (BLE or direct connection).
- Select a source on your product.
- Manage multi-room mode.
- View currently playing music.
- Manage sound volume.
- Set favorite programs as presets.
- Simultaneously add and control other AudioCast products.
- Play music from streamers like Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, etc.
Use of audio receiver
First use & WiFi Setup (BLE)
- Connect the power supply to the audio receiver. The green indicator light will flash and then become steady green.
- Ensure your mobile or pad is connected to your home 2.4G Wi-Fi network, and that GPS and Bluetooth are enabled.
- Open the AudioCast app. For Android devices, you may be prompted to grant permissions for GPS data and File storage; please accept. These permissions are for BLE usage and file access.
- The AudioCast application will display all discoverable AudioCast devices. Select the device you wish to set up.
- The app will recommend the 2.4G network your mobile device is currently connected to. Enter your network password. You can change the network if needed.
- Upon completion, the app will check for firmware updates. If an update is available, you will be prompted to install it.
- Follow the prompts to name your device. You can choose a preset name or enter your own.
- After naming, the device will appear in the AudioCast app's device list.
- If the device is not found using the standard method, the app may offer an alternative "Wi-Fi Direct" setup. Follow the app's instructions: connect to the "AudioCast Pro_xxxx" Wi-Fi hotspot, then return to the app to select your home Wi-Fi network and continue.
- After setting the device name, it will appear in the AudioCast app's device list.
Ethernet mode (recommended)
When the audio receiver is connected via Ethernet, it operates in WiFi/Ethernet mode (steady green indicator light, steady green/orange for Ethernet interface). WiFi is disabled by default when using Ethernet. You can set a fixed IP address by contacting authorized agents.
Note: If you change your wireless network or password, press and hold the Connect button in Wi-Fi mode to enter network configuration mode. Android 6.0+ may require permissions like "location, GPS, local storage, Bluetooth" for network configuration; please select "Yes or Allow".
Bluetooth mode
Short press the "Connect" button on the device or the Bluetooth mode button on the remote control to switch to Bluetooth mode (indicated by a blue light). To enter pairing mode, long press the "Connect" button for 3 seconds (blue indicator light flashes for 3s). On your mobile device, search for "AudioCast Pro_XXXX" via Bluetooth and connect.
Note: To prevent interference, Bluetooth is automatically turned off when switching to Wi-Fi mode, and Wi-Fi is turned off when switching to Bluetooth mode. Multi-room function is supported in Ethernet mode with Bluetooth audio, but not in Wi-Fi mode.
Reset the audio receiver
Method 1: Press and hold the "▶" button on the remote control for 3 seconds. The green indicator light will flash quickly, indicating reset mode.
Method 2: Open the AudioCast app, go to Device settings > Device information > Restore factory settings, and confirm.
The green indicator light will flash for 50 seconds. Reset is complete when the flashing stops and you hear a sound.
When a failure occurs
Possible malfunction
- Product dropping in and out of Wi-Fi: Check Wi-Fi network speed. Ensure the product is not too far from the router.
- Bluetooth connection is not stable: Check if the source is too far, if the Bluetooth signal is weak, or if the router is too far. Ensure you are using the 2.4GHz band of your router.
- No sound on a channel: Check loudspeaker connections at the back of the amplifier.
- Output distortion: Verify the source voltage does not exceed 1.5V, or the source level is too high.
Warning: If there is an abnormality in the amplifier, contact the sales office. Do not attempt to open or disassemble the amplifier, as this will invalidate the warranty.
FAQ
- Does it support Airplay and third-party DLNA apps? Yes, it supports Airplay and third-party DLNA apps like BubbleUPNP, AllCast, iMediaShare.
- Can you suggest some NAS brands? QNAP, Synology, and Hi-ResCloud are recommended.
- How many rooms does the system support? Up to eight rooms can be grouped in good Wi-Fi conditions.
- What is the coverage distance? The system connects to your home router, allowing music streaming anywhere the Wi-Fi signal covers.
- Can it work without Internet? Bluetooth mode is recommended when there is no network.
- What happens during a call? Can I multitask? The system runs in the background and continues playing music during calls or other activities like gaming.
- Does it support high-resolution music (24bit/192khz)? Yes, it supports APE, FLAC, and decoding 24bit/192khz music files.
- How many languages does the App have? The app supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Russian, Czech, Greek, Bosnian, Thai, and more languages will be added via online updates. The device automatically detects and switches to your mobile device's language.

Warranty
AudioCast provides a limited 1-year warranty covering parts and repair labor for all components. The warranty extends to the original purchaser. AudioCast's obligation is limited to repairing or replacing defective components. The warranty does not apply to products that have been abused, modified, or disassembled. Products for repair must be returned through an authorized AudioCast dealer.
To claim repair under warranty: Contact your local AudioCast dealer. Retain original packaging for shipping. If the dealer cannot be contacted, or if you are abroad, contact the AudioCast national distributor for assistance. You can also find contact information at audiocast.io. Proof of purchase (original invoice with date and dealer stamp) is required to validate the warranty.
