Identification
The AK-UI55 Set features a front panel with three digital displays and four control buttons. The device is marked with the CE conformity symbol.

Dimensions
The controller has the following external dimensions: Width: 83 mm, Height: 36 mm, Depth: 21 mm.
The device is rated NEMA4 (IP65) for protection.
Mounting
For installation, a panel cutout of 71 mm (width) x 29 mm (height) is required. The mounting thickness for the panel is between 0.5 mm and 3.0 mm.
The operating ambient temperature range is 0-55°C (32-130°F). The environment must be non-condensing.
Connection
The controller uses an RJ12 connector for communication. The AK-UI cable is available in two lengths: 3 meters (Part No. 084B4078) and 6 meters (Part No. 084B4079).
Power is supplied via L1 and L2 terminals. The maximum combined length for L1 and L2 connections is 100 meters.
Display and Operation
The display shows values using three digits and can be set to display temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
Status Indicators (Lights):
- Lights up during Energy Optimization
- Lights up during Cooling
- Lights up during Defrosting
- Lights up during Fan Operation
Alarm Indications:
- The display lights up in the event of an alarm.
- An alarm code is displayed (e.g., "A1").
- Pressing the alarm button resets the alarm relay.

Button Functions:
- SET Button:
- Short press: Accesses the thermostat's cut-out limit setting.
- Long press (3 seconds): Accesses the "SEt" menu. If the operation is password-locked, "PS" will be shown, requiring code entry. This function also saves changed settings for a chosen parameter.
- Arrow Buttons (Up, Down, Left): Used for navigation within menus and for setting values.
- Long press (3 seconds) on Up Arrow: Grants access to the information menu, indicated as "InF".
- Long press (3 seconds) on Down Arrow: Initiates a defrost cycle, indicated by "-d-" on the display.
