Installation Guide and Specifications
Installation Instructions
Installation Method 1
- Secure the bracket to the 86 box with 2 screws (M4*40).
- Connect Cable A on the bracket to the corresponding interface of the device.
- Mount the device from top to bottom onto the bracket.
- Use 2 screws (M2*7) to lock the device and bracket from the bottom of the device.
Installation Method 2
- Select the appropriate mounting location and attach the positioning sticker.
- Align holes 5 and 6 on the positioning sticker to drill holes in the wall (recommended aperture 6mm, depth 40mm).
- Remove the positioning sticker.
- Secure the bracket to the wall with 2 sets of expansion screws (M4*25).
- Connect Cable A on the bracket to the corresponding interface of the device.
- Mount the device from top to bottom onto the bracket.
- Use 2 screws (M2*7) to lock the device and bracket from the bottom of the device.
Precautions
- For holes 1 to 4 on the bracket (refer to positioning sticker), do not remove the waterproof pad if the position is not in use.
- Holes 3 and 4 on the bracket (refer to positioning sticker) support the use of an 86-box repairer.
- If using an 86-box repairer, replace the screws that come with it with the screws provided in the accessory kit.

The device has dimensions of 95mm (width) x 159mm (height) x 25mm (depth). It includes mounting holes and connection points. A bracket is shown for mounting, with Cable A connecting to the device. Screws like M2*7 are used for securing.
Recognizable Position
This section describes optimal placement for facial recognition. It includes a diagram showing a person standing at a distance from a wall where the device is mounted. The diagram illustrates:
- Person to wall distance (W): ranges from 80-100 cm.
- Camera to ground distance (H): ranges from 130-150 cm.
- Recognizable height (L): ranges from 140-150 cm.

This product can be used across EU member states. FaceSec Japan Co., Ltd. declares that this device complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU. The product does not include an AC/DC adapter. A DC 12V/2A adapter compliant with Directive 2014/30/EU must be purchased separately. The adapter should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
Operation steps for viewing authentication information:
- Enter the "Setting" interface and click "About".
- Enter the "About" interface and click "Credentials".
