Voice Activated Transmit (VOX) On/Off & VOX Sensitivity In VOX mode, your radio can be used "hands-free", automatically transmitting when you speak. You can set the VOX sensitivity level to fit the volume of your voice and avoid transmissions triggered by background noise. Level 1 is the setting which will only activate the voice activated transmit with the loudest sound. Level 5 is the highest sensitivity and the easiest to activate the voice activated transmit.
