SRAM LLC Warranty Information
SRAM provides a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for its products. This warranty is valid for the original owner and is non-transferable. Claims must be processed through the original retailer with proof of purchase. The warranty terms may be subject to local laws, which could provide consumers with additional rights.
The warranty does not cover issues arising from incorrect installation, modifications, altered serial numbers, damage due to crashes or abuse, or normal wear and tear. Components subject to wear and tear include, but are not limited to, dust seals, bushings, O-rings, glide rings, rubber moving parts, rear shock mounting hardware, stripped threads, upper tubes, brake sleeves, brake pads, chains, sprockets, cassettes, cables, grips, jockey wheels, rotors, and bearings.
Damages caused by using parts from different manufacturers or incompatible/unauthorized parts are not covered. Commercial (rental) use is also excluded.
RockShox Suspension Service Recommendations
RockShox suspension servicing is recommended to be performed by qualified bicycle mechanics due to the specialized knowledge, tools, and fluids required. Proper disposal or recycling of used suspension fluid according to local regulations is essential. Never pour suspension fluid into drainage systems or waterways.
