Getting to know before using
This AI box is designed for the factory car stereo with built-in wired Apple CarPlay, which can convert wired CarPlay into a full Android system. Besides, it integrates wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto functions.
How to check a car has CarPlay or not
- Plug an iPhone (running iOS 10 or newer) into the car USB ports with genuine factory lightning cable. If there is a notification pop up on iPhone like below, that your car has built-in Apple CarPlay:
Allow CarPlay with "while phone is locked?" Your contacts and other information will appear on this car's display without unlocking your iPhone.
Buttons: [Not Now], [Allow] - If there is a CarPlay icon in the car stereo menu, that your car has built-in Apple CarPlay.

NOTE! Power off before inserting or removing the nano SIM card. Nano SIM card and Micro SD card are not included in the package. For how to insert the cards please refer to this diagram.
User Interface
Network status bar: WiFi/BT/SIM card status.
Weather & clock widget: Add your location by tapping the weather icon.
Recent running apps: Tap to switch, long press to show recent apps.
Music playback widget: Controls for music playback.
Common apps: Press & hold the icon to replace installed app.
Navigation: Displays navigation information.
Voice Assistant: Google Assistant by default. Select another app in Settings > CAR > Voice assistant.
Tap: Back
Press & hold: all recent apps
Tap: Home
Press & hold: enable split screen (only available in 3rd party app)
Quick settings
Pairing your iPhone/Android phone with Bluetooth
- Enable your mobile phone's Bluetooth, next open Bluetooth app on AI box.
- Pair your iPhone/Android smartphone to AI box's Bluetooth first.
- Enter pair code 0000 on your mobile phone to finish pairing.
Setting up wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
- Pair your iPhone/Android smartphone to AI box's Bluetooth first.
- Open MultiPlay app. Tap confirm if there are pop-up notifications on your phone.
- NOTE! Using wireless CarPlay or Android Auto will disable the AI box's WiFi function.
- TIPS! Disable [wireless auto connect] in MultiPlay app settings if you don't want to automatically start wireless CP/AA every time you pair to Bluetooth.
Opening notification bar
Swipe down twice from the top.
Navigation Shortcut
- Tap to add favorite contact shortcut (please pair to Bluetooth first).
- Long press: delete all favorite contact shortcuts.
- Tap: call this contact.
- Long press: replace the contact.
PIP Navigation
You could choose it as PIP navigation or a shortcut for any app.
Shortcut: Open [PIP Widget] app > [Quick launch setting for any app] > [Select the quick launch app].
PIP navigation: Open [PIP Widget] app > [PIP Navi setting] > [Select the navigation app on PIP widget].
NOTE! The selected PIP maps will only display on the homepage with PIP mode instead of full-screen mode.
Firmware update
- Format micro SD card into FAT32.
- Copy update.zip to the root folder of micro SD card.
- Insert the micro SD card into the AI box then power on. Tick [Wipe data and format flash], next tap install. A Firmware Updating message will appear.
- The blue light flashes rapidly while updating.
- After the update is finished, the system will restart. Delete the update.zip file or remove the micro SD card.
