Installation Options

Option 1: Spring Mount (Feder)

1. Rotate the base ?.
2. Remove the LED bulb. Note: Do not touch the bulb directly. Be aware of heat warnings ?.
3. Insert the base into the headlight housing.
4. Connect the cable to the LED bulb.
5. Insert the LED bulb into the base and rotate to lock.
6. Push down until it clicks ✔️.
7. Rotate the base to secure the bulb.
8. Test the lights (ON/OFF).

Option 2: Spring Clip Mount (Feder-Klammer)

1. Rotate the base ?.
2. Remove the LED bulb. Note: Do not touch the bulb directly. Be aware of heat warnings ?.
3. Connect the wires to the clip mechanism (1, 2).
4. Insert the LED bulb into the base.
5. Connect the bulb to the base (1), then attach the base to the housing (2).
6. Push down until it clicks ✔️.
7. Rotate the base to secure the bulb.
8. Connect the power cable.
9. Rotate the base to secure.
10. Test the lights (ON/OFF).

Option 3: Adapter Ring

This option involves using an adapter ring. ?

General Instructions - ABG Certificate

How to get general type approval (ABG) for use in your vehicle on public roads: ?️

1. Scan the QR code ? on the top of the packaging to authenticate the product and download the ABG certificate. Visit: www.philips.de/LED-Strassenzulassung
2. Print out the approval document (ABG). ?️?
3. Keep the approval certificate (ABG) at all times with you in the vehicle. ?

General Instructions - Left-hand Traffic

This LED replacement light source is only approved for right-hand traffic. ➡️

Before entering a country with left-hand traffic, the LED lamp must be replaced by a halogen lamp. ⬅️

General Instructions - Mounting

Please change lamps in pairs. ??

The LED light source, cables, and components must be mounted in a way that the headlamp won't be damaged and its function is maintained. All parts must be fixed safely. ??

Check correct position and safe fixation of the LED lamp within the lamp holder. ?

After replacing the headlamp bulb, inspection and eventual adjustment of headlamp setting by a qualified garage is required. ?

General Instructions - Safety

• The replacement of the halogen lamp by an LED light source may affect the deicing and defogging behavior of the headlamp. ❄️?
• The LED light intensity is very high while turned on. Do not look directly into the beam to avoid damage to the eyes. ?
• Please wear safety glasses ? while replacing halogen lamps.
• Lamps will heat up during operation. Do not touch. Please let them cool down to avoid potential injury due to contact with hot surfaces. ??✋
• Please wear safety gloves ? to avoid injuries during mounting.
• Keep out of reach of children. ?
