Installation Diagram

The installation diagram illustrates the connection between an aftermarket radio, the SWRBM-57K module, and the vehicle's factory wiring harness. It provides a color-coded guide for essential connections:

The diagram shows the SWRBM-57K module connecting to the vehicle's harness via either a 40-pin Quadlock connector or a 17-pin Slide-Lock connector, depending on the vehicle's OEM harness. It also details the connection of the 3.5mm SWC cable to the module. Instructions are given to cap or insulate any unused wires. A separate diagram shows the 3.5mm SWC cable connecting to the module and the vehicle's SWC input, with specific wire mapping: RED to SWC Key 1, WHITE to SWC Key 2, and SHIELD to SWC Ground. It notes that the shield connection is not needed if the radio only has SWC1 and SWC2 inputs. The diagram also indicates the "SWC SETTING" for the aftermarket radio and the "BMW SWC SETTING" on the module.

For aftermarket radios with separate SWC wires, cut off the 3.5mm plug from the CRUX SWC Cable. Connect the wires as follows:

Note: If the radio only has SWC1 and SWC2 inputs, the shield connection is not required.
