Operating Instructions
Getting Started
- Open the battery compartment at the back and remove the safety film.
- Place the scale on a hard, flat, stable surface. Avoid soft carpets. An unstable surface may cause incorrect readings or display "UnST".
Weighing
- Press the TARE button.
- Wait for the display to show "0" and the [stable symbol].
- The [stable symbol] indicates readiness; the [weight symbol] indicates weight has been registered.
- Place the item on the scale. The [stable symbol] will appear when the weight is stable. Read the weight on the display.
TARE Function
- Turn on the scale. The [stable symbol], [weight symbol], and unit (e.g., "g") will appear.
- Place a container on the scale. The scale shows the container's weight. Press TARE to zero the display. The [stable symbol] and [weight symbol] will reappear.
- Add ingredients one by one. After each addition, press TARE to zero the scale before adding the next ingredient. The display will show the weight of the new ingredient only.
- If the tare weight exceeds 750 g, a [tare symbol] will be displayed.
Unit Selection
- Default unit is grams (g). Use the [unit select button] to cycle through other units like pounds:ounces (lb:oz) or milliliters.
Automatic Shut-off
- The scale automatically turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity (display shows "0" or a constant reading).
Overload Indicator
- If overloaded, the display shows "0-Ld".
Battery Replacement
- Replace batteries when the display shows "Lo".
