This manual provides detailed information on the features, settings, and operation of the eBikeling S830 LCD display.
1. Exterior Parameters
Casing Material: ABS
Display Material: High Hardness Acrylic (offers the same hardness value as tempered glass).

2. Operating Voltage and Connections
Operating Voltage: DC24V/36V/48V/52V/72V (configurable via the control panel).
Connections: Julet Waterproof Connector.
3. Functions
a. Display
The display shows:
- Speed Display
- Motor Power Ratio Display

- Total Mileage (ODO)
- Single Mileage (TRIP)
- Single Running Time (Time)
- Light Signal
b. Control and Settings
The display allows for:
- Power Switch
- 6km/h Inching Control
- Wheel Diameter Setting

- Time Setting for Auto-Hibernation
- Backlight Brightness Setting
- Voltage Level Setting
c. Communications Protocol: UART
Display Readings: Shown at the start for 1 second.

Indicates battery status with a visual representation and percentage.
3.3 Multi-Functions Display
- Total Mileage: ODO
- Single Mileage: TRIP
- Single Running Time: Time
- Current Voltage: VOL
- Operating Current: CUR
3.4 Vehicle Power PAS Level
Offers 3/5/9 gear modes for pedal assist. The default is 5 gears.
3.5 Speed Display
- Maximum Speed: MAX
- Average Speed: AVG
- Measuring Unit: MPH or KM/H
The panel calculates the actual traveling speed based on wheel diameter and signal data. For Hall motors, the number of magnet steel is required.

3.7 Parameters
To access Parameters, press and hold the "UP & DOWN ARROW" buttons simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds, within 8 seconds of turning the kit on.
- P01: Brightness (1=darkest, 3=brightest)
- P02: Unit Setting (0=KM, 1=MILE)
- P03: Voltage grades (24V/36V/48V/52V/72V)
- P04: Sleep time (0=never off, 1-60 min)
- P05: PAS grades (3, 5, or 9 levels for throttle and PAS)
- P06: Wheel Size (Unit: inch, Precision: 0.1). Must be set correctly.
- P07: Motor Type Parameter (Range: 1-100). Default is 46 for direct drive (1200W+) and 01 for geared (500W-750W) motors.
- P08: Speed Limit (Range: 0-50 km/h, 100=no limit). Set in Km.
Note on Speed Limit: The speed limit is set in Km and cannot be switched to Miles. If you change the unit from KM to Mile (P02), the displayed speed will convert, but the speed limit setting will remain in Km. This may cause a discrepancy between the displayed speed and the actual speed limit in Miles.
- P09: Zero & Non-zero Start Setting (0=Instant motor engagement, 1=Delay on throttle)
- P10: Drive Mode Setting (0=Power Drive, 1=Electric Drive, 2=Power + Electric Drive)
- P12: Assist Power Intensity (Range: 0-5. Lower values provide less assist.)
- P13: Power Magnet Steel Number (Options: 5, 8, 12. Default is 12.)
- P14: Current-limiting of Controller (Range: 1-20A. Default is 12A.) Check controller and motor capacity.
- P16: ODO Zero-Out: Long press the upper key for 5 seconds to reset ODO.
Parameter Setting Notes:
- When P09=0, throttle and PAS work regardless of P10 setting.
- When P09=1 and P10=0, only PAS works.
- When P09=1 and P10=1, neither throttle nor PAS works.
- When P09=1 and P10=2, PAS works first, then throttle works.
4. Keys

Introduction of Keys
Key operations include short press, long press, and long press of combination keys.
- Short Press: Used for short/frequent operations.
- Long Press (single key): Used to switch mode/on/off status.
- Long Press (combination keys): Used to set parameters, preventing accidental changes.
Detailed Instructions
- Changing the assist power:
- Short press ⬆️ to increase assist power (+1).
- Short press ⬇️ to decrease assist power (-1).
- Switch Speed Display: Long press M + ⬇️ to switch speed display type.
- Enable/Disable 6km/h cruise, set real-time cruise, and control lights:
- When parked, long press ⬇️ to enter 6km/h cruise mode.
- When traveling, long press ⬇️ to enter real-time cruise mode.
- Long press M or engage the Throttle to exit cruise mode.
- Long press M to turn on/off backlight.
- Turn on/off the LCD Display: When operating, long press M to turn off the display; otherwise, it will turn on.
- Switch Displayed Readings in Multi-Functions Section: Short press M to cycle through readings.
- Set Parameters:
- Long press ⬆️ + ⬇️ to enter the setting interface.
- In the interface, short press ⬆️ or ⬇️ to change the parameter value. The selected parameter will blink.
- After selecting the parameter, short press M to switch to the next parameter. The previously set value is saved automatically.
- Press ⬆️ + ⬇️ to exit the setting and save parameters. The system also auto-saves after 10 seconds of inactivity.
Note: Due to product upgrades, your purchased product may differ slightly from this manual. These differences will not affect normal usage.
