Diagram Descriptions
Graph 1: Relation between output current and ambient temperature (instantaneous load). This graph illustrates that the output current capacity of the power supply is derated as the ambient temperature increases. At an ambient temperature below 30°C, the maximum output current is 4.6A. However, at an ambient temperature of 40°C, the maximum recommended output current is reduced to 3.2A.
Figure 1: Dimension of power supply. This figure shows the physical dimensions of the power supply unit: 178 mm (length) x 81 mm (width) x 33 mm (height). It also indicates the DC cable length is 1.5 meters.
1.3. Accessories
Accessories such as fuse blocks and cable adapters are available for the power supplies. For details, visit www.pulsar.pl.
2. Installation
2.1. Requirements
The power supply shall be mounted by a qualified installer possessing appropriate permissions and qualifications for connecting and operating low-voltage installations. Installation should occur in closed rooms with normal air humidity (RH=90% max. without condensation) and ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to +40°C. The power supply must be mounted within a closed casing (e.g., a cubicle or terminal device), adhering to LVD and EMC requirements for power supplies, encasing, and shielding as per the application.
2.2. Installation Procedure
- Connect the DC output to the load/loads.
- Connect the power supply unit to the ~230 V AC line, ensuring adequate airflow around the unit.
- After performing tests and operation control, close the casing (cubicle).
3. Maintenance
All maintenance operations should be performed only after disconnecting the power supply from the power network. The power supply does not require specific maintenance procedures. However, if significant dust accumulation occurs, it should be cleaned using compressed air.
WEEE Mark
According to the EU WEEE Directive, electric or electronic waste must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. Such WEEE must be collected separately.
