PART I REMOVE HEADLIGHTS INSTALLATION TOOLS PREPARE THESE TOOLS FOR INSTALLATION 7mm 8mm 10mm Metal Panel Popper Flat Power Tool Screwdriver Wrench 1/4 Ratchet 1/4 Extension Socket NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the bolts. STEP 1. DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Whenever working on your vehicle, always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal. BACK TO INDEX STEP 2. REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER Begin by extracting the push-in pins from the radiator support cover. BACK TO INDEX Remove the two 10mm bolts, located individually on either side of the upper bumper corner. BACK TO INDEX Extract the four push-in pins from both sides of the wheel fender. Subsequently, spread open the fender liner widely and use the wrench to disengage the two 10mm bolts securing the front bumper. BACK TO INDEX Repeat the identical steps on the opposite side of the wheel fender. Open the fender liner widely and remove the two 10mm bolts securing the front bumper. Take out the eight 7mm bolts located underneath the front bumper. BACK TO INDEX Gently detach the front bumper by pulling outward from each side, disengaging it from the mounting clips. BACK TO INDEX Disconnect the fog light connectors and side marker connectors, then proceed to remove the front bumper entirely. Set it aside for later reinstallation. BACK TO INDEX STEP 3. REMOVE THE HEADLIGHT BOLTS Remove the 4 X 8mm bolts from the headlight assembly. Follow the same steps for the other side. BACK TO INDEX STEP 4. REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS Gently pull the headlight assembly outward to disengage. Unplug the headlight's sockets to complete the headlights removal. BACK TO INDEX Follow the same steps to remove the other side of the headlight. BACK TO INDEX PART II INSTALL HEADLIGHTS image as shown NOVA-Series LED Headlights LUXX-Series LED Headlights STEP 1. TAP THE FUSE AND ROUTE THE DRL HARNESS To ensure proper operation of the Daytime Running Lights (DRL), it's essential to connect to the fuse and route the harness accordingly. Begin by locating the fuse box. Then, attach the red wire to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) ground terminal on the firewall. BACK TO INDEX To initiate, open the fuse box and tap the red wire into the fuse F39 (10A). BACK TO INDEX Next, proceed to route the DRL wire harness towards the headlights. STEP 2. PLUG THE HEADLIGHTS Connect the headlight socket, DRL connector, and turn signal connector to the new ALPHAREX headlight assembly. DO NOT USE DIELECTRIC GREASE! BACK TO INDEX STEP 3. INSTALL THE HEADLIGHTS Screw the 4 X 8mm bolts into place securely, ensuring a proper fit. Repeat the same steps for the other side of the headlights. BACK TO INDEX To complete the installation, reverse the uninstallation process, ensuring all previous steps are followed in the opposite order. BACK TO INDEX STEP 4. TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly. STEP 5. ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL Once everything has been tested, aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft from a wall and level the headlight evenly. BACK TO INDEX STEP 6.
