Quick Start & Operations

Charging the Battery

Fully charge the battery before first use. Open the USB port cover on the right frame arm and connect the glasses to a computer or USB adapter using the included cable. The charging LED will be red while charging and turn off upon completion.

Camera Operations

The camera features a single button for instant recording. Press the Power/Record button once to start recording; the camera indicator will flash. Press again to stop recording; the indicator will become solid. To take a photo while recording, press the Power/Record button once to stop, then press again to capture a photo (photo indicator blinks). Press twice to resume video recording. To turn off the glasses, press and hold the Power/Record button for 2-3 seconds until the camera indicator turns off.

Playback

Connect the glasses via USB to your computer. A new drive will appear, similar to any USB drive. Navigate to the 'DCIM' subfolder to find recorded files. Most computers can play these files automatically. Ensure content is offloaded to free up memory.

Settings Configuration

Camera settings are managed via the 'config.txt' file located on the camera drive. Connect the device, open 'config.txt' using Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (macOS), and edit settings as per the provided examples. Save the file to apply changes. Settings like date, time, video size, and memory reformatting can be adjusted. For example, setting 'Y' for Date Time Watermark will display the timestamp on recordings.
