Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not place hands in or around the warming chamber during heating.
3. Shake bottle well and test temperature before giving to child. Test baby food temperature before feeding.
4. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles.
5. Do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid to prevent electric shock.
6. Allow unit to cool before removing warming chamber basket.
7. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
8. Accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
9. Tomy does not recommend or offer accessory attachments for this unit.
10. For household use only.
11. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before removing or attaching parts.
12. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, or after malfunction or damage. Return to authorized service facility.
13. Do not use outdoors.
14. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
15. This product does not require preheating.
16. Do not place on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
17. User should not attempt to service or repair the unit.
18. No serviceable parts inside.
19. Exercise extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
20. Save these instructions for future use.
21. To disconnect, turn control to "OFF", then remove plug from wall outlet.
22. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
23. Before serving, ensure food is at a safe temperature.
24. Before serving, unplug cord from wall outlet. Keep cord out of child's reach.
25. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
26. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
27. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce electric shock risk, it fits into a polarized outlet only one way. If plug doesn't fit, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug.

Extension Cords: A short power supply cord is provided. Longer extension cords may be used if care is exercised. Ensure the extension cord's electrical rating is at least as great as the appliance's. Arrange the cord so it won't drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Warnings

• ALWAYS mix bottle/stir food well and test temperature of contents before giving to child.
• ALWAYS turn unit off and unplug to clean.
• DO NOT use glass bottles in Warmer – sudden temperature change may cause glass to break.
• DO NOT immerse unit in water.
• DO NOT use scouring pads, solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean unit.

To Clean

• Water vial: Dishwasher safe (top rack only).
• Baskets, adapter ring: Dishwasher safe (top rack only).
• Sanitizer Lid: Dishwasher safe (top rack only).
• Bottle warmer unit: Turn off and unplug before cleaning. Wipe the unit's surface and inside of the warming chamber with a damp cloth or sponge and mild liquid soap. Wipe with clean water. Air dry. DO NOT IMMERSE BOTTLE WARMER IN WATER. Do not use scouring pads, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

To remove mineral deposits (white residue):

1. Unplug the unit.
2. Remove the basket and wash separately.
3. Pour 2 oz. vinegar into the warming chamber and let stand for an hour or two.
4. Pour out vinegar and rinse the chamber 2-3 times with 3-4 oz. of clean tap water.
5. Wipe dry or air dry. Do not immerse the Bottle Warmer in water.

To Use

Heat Bottle/Jar:

1. Place unit on a flat surface and plug into AC outlet.
2. Fill water vial with room temperature water to the recommended time marking (minutes) from the WATER MEASURING GUIDE. Note: Vial markings are recommendations, not exact durations.
3. Pour water from vial into the warming chamber.
4. Always place the lift-out basket into the warming chamber before adding a bottle or jar. Do not place bottle/jar directly onto the heating element.
• Wide neck bottle: Place bottle into lift-out basket.
• Slim neck bottle (straight or angled): Place adapter ring on top of the basket, then place bottle into basket.
• Disposable bottle or baby food jar: Insert into lift-out basket. Remove lid from baby food jar before heating.
5. Press the ON button. The button will light up, indicating the unit is heating.
6. When the light turns off, the warming cycle is complete. The heater shuts off automatically.
7. Remove bottle/jar from the chamber and allow it to cool before handling.
8. Adjust the water level (minute marking) in the water vial based on results: use less water if contents are too hot, more water if contents are too cool.
9. ALWAYS mix bottle/stir food well and test temperature of contents before giving to child.
10. Wait 10 minutes before heating a second bottle to avoid overheating.

Sanitize:

1. Fill the water vial to the 3-minute mark.
2. Place 1 or 2 pacifier(s) in the lift-out basket.
3. Place the sanitizer lid on the lift-out basket.
4. Pour water into the warming chamber.
5. Place the lift-out basket (with sanitizer lid) into the warming chamber.
6. Press the ON button.
7. When the light turns off, remove the lift-out basket with the sanitizer lid.
8. ALWAYS allow pacifier to cool before giving to child.
