Build It Up
Assembling the E-Bike
Where to Find the Ignition Keys
The ignition key is attached to the frame with a zip tie near the bottom tube and inverted handlebar. Cut the zip tie carefully to release the key and keep it separate until assembly is complete.
Note: An extra ignition lock is provided in the packet for future replacement.
Mounting the Handlebar
The e-bike is packaged with the stem bracket facing the opposite side. To mount the handlebar, orient the stem bracket outwards. Stand at the head of the cycle and loosen the two screws at the headset joint using the 5mm Allen Key.
Carefully turn the stem cap outwards, rotating it 180 degrees anticlockwise and aligning it properly.
Remove the four screws on the top bracket using the 4mm Allen key to detach the stem cap.
Place the handlebar into the opened stem cap carefully. Ensure all cables are untangled and routed forward of the front fork to avoid obstruction after the front tyre is mounted.
Align the handlebar grooves onto the stem. Reattach the stem cover and tighten the screws clockwise. Ensure screws fit smoothly into the grooves without coarseness to prevent thread damage.
Push the front light and horn cables into the port at the top of the down tube. Gather the throttle cable and the two side brake sensor cables, and secure them together with two cable ties.
Assembling the Reflectors
Slide the reflector bracket into the groove at the back of the reflector. Then, slide the bracket up the seat post stem. Tighten the screw on the reflector bracket using the Cross Slot screwdriver once it's in the correct position.
Follow the same steps for the front reflector: place it on the handlebar and tighten the screw using the screwdriver.
Mounting the Seat Post
Open the quick-release clamp on the seat tube and insert the seat post. Close the quick-release lever by pressing it towards the frame.
Note: The saddle position can be adjusted using the lever located directly below the saddle.
Mounting the Front Tyre
Place the e-bike frame upside down on a soft surface to prevent damage during assembly. Take the previously detached front tyre and remove any remaining packaging paper and zip ties.
With the upside-down e-bike, stand at the front hub with the disc brake on the left. Ensure the tyre fits smoothly when mounting.
Note: If the front wheel does not fit smoothly, loosen the inside of the front brake calliper.
Carefully set the wheel upright and insert the fork brackets onto its axle. Insert the front fork safety wheel lock washer (A1) into the groove of the front fork, followed by the disc washer (A2).
Ensure the wheel is centered properly on the frame to maintain balance. Verify the disc brake is on the left-hand side.
Repeat for the other side. Insert bolts (B1) on both ends and tighten them on the axle using the 15mm socket on the combination spanner clockwise. Confirm the wheel is securely fastened to the frame.
Mounting the Pedals
Check the pedals for markings indicating the right (R) and left (L) sides. Mount the pedals by screwing the right pedal clockwise and the left pedal anticlockwise using the 15mm spanner.

E-bike Care
What's the Best Way to Care for My E-Bike?
Use a soft brush, wet cotton cloth, or sponge. Avoid using a hose or stream of water. Clean the e-bike after every use, or weekly, to prolong its life.
Which Cleaning Agent Can I Use?
Bike shampoos and specialist care products are recommended as they do not harm plastics and seals. Soap solution or washing-up liquid can also be used, provided they are not too aggressive or strongly degreasing.
How Regularly Would You Recommend Cleaning an E-Bike?
Ideally, clean after every trip to prevent dirt from becoming ingrained. Clean as often as possible or when necessary. Dry washing with a cotton rag or microfibre cloth helps prevent corrosion.
What Should I Do if Water Runs into the Battery Mount?
The battery mount is designed for water to drain off quickly, allowing contacts to dry easily. Keep the mount and plug area clean. The contacts have a protective coating against corrosion and wear.
Where Should I Lubricate the Chain – At the Front Sprocket or at the Rear?
Lubricate where the chain runs freely, avoiding the brake discs and sprocket. Remove excess lubricant with a rag or soft cloth.

Pit Stop Rules
How to Maintain Your Ride
Maintain tyre pressure at 30 PSI at least. If you notice any discrepancy, take the e-bike to a mechanic to ensure correct tyre pressure, preventing flat tyres and punctures.
Lubricate the chain regularly to avoid rough sounds and issues when switching gears.
We recommend servicing and maintenance every 6 months from an authorized service center to keep the e-bike functioning properly.
A Note on Wear
Some e-bike components are subject to wear as part of normal use. The rate of wear depends on care, maintenance, and usage patterns, including kilometres travelled, rides in rain, dirt, and gravelly terrains. Leaving the e-bike outdoors can increase wear through weathering.
Certain components require regular care and maintenance, and will eventually reach the end of their service life. Parts worn beyond their limit must be replaced.
Components Subject to Wear
- Chain
- Cables
- Grip coverings or bar tape
- Chain rings
- Sprockets
- Pulleys
- Gear cables
- Tyres
- Saddle covering (leather)
- Brake pads
Disc brake pads wear due to function. Frequent use in high-strain cycling, competitive events, or hilly terrains may require earlier replacement. Regularly check pad condition and have them replaced by a dealer when needed.
Note: Overall e-bike performance is affected by component condition. Avoid straining any component excessively, perform regular maintenance checks, and follow replacement suggestions. Contact your dealer or an expert for any doubts.
