1. Download App

To get started, download the Ruko Mini app. You can find it on the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. Look for the Ruko Mini icon.

2. Charge the Batteries

Ensure your drone's batteries are fully charged before use. Note that the charger is not included in the package. Use a charger with a power output of less than 15W (≤15W).

The battery charging port is located on the drone's battery pack. Connect the charger to the battery pack to begin charging.

3. Unfold the 4 Arms of the Aircraft

Follow these steps to unfold the drone's arms:

  1. Gently pull out the front arms until they are fully extended.
  2. Next, pull out the rear arms until they are fully extended.
  3. Ensure all four arms are securely locked into place before flight.

The drone should transition from a compact, folded state to its full flight configuration with all propellers extended.

4. Unfold the Transmitter

Prepare your remote control (transmitter) for use:

  1. Unfold the antenna: Pull the antennas outwards from the top of the transmitter.
  2. Unfold the handle: Extend the handles from the bottom of the transmitter.
  3. Mount your mobile device: Open the phone holder on the transmitter and securely place your mobile device.

5. Select an Open Flight Area

Choose a safe and open environment for flying your Ruko F11MINI drone. Look for a clear area, similar to a designated helipad symbol (H) on a green field, free from obstacles.

Important: Fly higher than surrounding objects. The recommended flight height is ≥65ft (approximately 20 meters) to avoid collisions with trees, buildings, or other obstructions.

6. Pair the Transmitter with the Aircraft

Follow these steps to pair your transmitter with the Ruko F11MINI aircraft:

  1. Power on the Aircraft: Short press and then long press the power button on the aircraft until it plays a start-up sound.
  2. Power on the Transmitter: Press the power button on the transmitter. The indicator light will flash.
  3. Pairing Step 1 (Left Stick Up): Push the left joystick on the transmitter all the way up. The transmitter will play a sound, typically a "di" sound.
  4. Pairing Step 2 (Left Stick Down): Push the left joystick on the transmitter all the way down. The transmitter will play another sound, typically a "di" sound.

Success Confirmation: Once successfully paired, the transmitter indicator light will stay on (stop flashing).

7. Connect to Wi-Fi

To view the drone's camera feed and control it via the app, connect your mobile device to the aircraft's Wi-Fi network:

  1. On your mobile device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Connect to the Wi-Fi network named "Ruko_F11_Mini_5G-******".
  3. Once connected, open the Ruko Mini App and tap the "Control" icon to enter the App operation page.

For more details: Please refer to the user manual (page 32) for comprehensive instructions on Wi-Fi connection and app operation.

8. Calibrate the Compass

Calibrate the drone's compass for accurate flight. Perform this in an open area:

  1. Horizontal Calibration: Rotate the aircraft horizontally 360° until you hear a "beep" sound. Repeat this approximately 3 times.
  2. Vertical Calibration: Rotate the aircraft vertically 360° until you hear a "beep" sound. Repeat this approximately 3 times.

Important: Hold the aircraft flat when rotating it horizontally. Failing to do so may increase the number of turns required to complete this step.

9. Calibrate the Gyroscope

Ensure the drone's gyroscope is calibrated for stable flight:

  1. Place the aircraft on a level ground.
  2. In the Ruko Mini App, tap the "CALIBRATE" icon.

The app will guide you through the gyroscope calibration process.

10. Start the Motors

To start the drone's motors, push the left joystick on the transmitter all the way up.

11. Take off

Once motors are running, you can take off:

12. Landing

To land the Ruko F11MINI drone:
