The VSX-934 supports Ultra HD, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision™™ pass-through with HDCP 2.2, delivering lifelike images. Stream music from various sources via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, DTS Play-Fi, SONOS system, and Apple AirPlay 2*. Key features include a Powered Zone 2 with a dedicated DAC and Personal Preset buttons, plus two HDMI outputs.

Dolby Atmos®/Dolby Surround Upmixing

The VSX-934 supports 5.2.2ch configuration of Dolby Atmos®, enabling object-oriented sound reproduction and realistic 3D movement. Dolby Surround can upmix PCM and DSD audio codecs for 3D surround sound.

DTS:X®/DTS Neural:X Upmixing

DTS:X is an object-based audio codec that adapts to existing speaker layouts for immersive soundscapes. DTS Neural:X can upmix PCM and DSD audio for 3D surround sound.

Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization*

This feature creates a virtual surround and height effect from traditional speaker layouts without additional speakers, enhancing the immersive listening experience for Dolby formats.

DTS Virtual:X*

Enjoy 3D immersive sound similar to DTS:X without height or rear speakers. This technology supports 2 to 7.1.4-channel input sources and works with all DTS codecs.

MCACC Auto Room Tuning

Pioneer's MCACC system, developed with professional recording studio expertise, automatically compensates for speaker size, level, and distance, and equalizes response to create an optimal acoustic environment.

Works with SONOS

Connect the VSX-934 to Sonos Connect to play music through your Sonos app. Group it with other Sonos devices or use it independently. The receiver automatically turns on and switches input when a Sonos music source starts playing.

Powered Zone 2 with Dedicated DAC

The VSX-934 can directly drive speakers in another room without a separate amplifier. The dedicated DAC for Zone 2 allows playback of all digital audio sources.

Zone B Output for Wireless Headphones

Equipped with Zone B audio output terminals, the VSX-934 can expand the Main Zone sound for wireless headphones, allowing listening in another room.

Built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

Stream music from compatible devices using Bluetooth® Wireless Technology (ver. 4.2 + LE). Supports A2DP/AVRCP profiles and SBC/AAC codecs. Wake on Play function automatically wakes the receiver and switches input when a Bluetooth source begins playback.

Dialog Enhancement

This unique feature allows independent volume adjustments for dialogue in films using the remote control's up/down keys.

Apple AirPlay 2*

Stream music or podcasts to speakers throughout your home using Apple devices or Siri, with perfect synchronization.
