How To Use

Keycap and Switch Removal/Installation

1. Remove Keycap: Use the keycap puller tool to clamp onto a keycap and pull upwards to detach it from the switch. For longer keys like the space bar, clamp and remove from the middle.
2. Remove Switch: Use the switch puller to push in the two tabs on the top and bottom of the switch. Pull upwards to remove the switch. Be cautious to avoid scratching the keyboard case.
3. Insert Switch: Align the new switch with the holes on the keyboard and insert straight down. Ensure minimal resistance. Test the switch by pressing it; if it doesn't light up or register, remove and re-insert, ensuring the pins are straight. It is safe to swap switches while the keyboard is plugged in.
4. Insert Keycap: Once the switch is properly inserted, snap the keycap back into place.

How To Connect

Wired Mode

Plug the Type-C cable into the keyboard and connect the USB jack to your computer's USB port. Press and hold FN+Y for 3 seconds to activate wired mode. The LED will light steady blue upon connection.

2.4Ghz Mode

Plug the USB receiver into your computer's USB port. Press FN+Q to activate 2.4Ghz mode. If it doesn't connect, press and hold FN+Q for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. The LED will light steady blue upon connection.

Bluetooth Mode

The ATOM PRO83 can connect up to 3 BT devices simultaneously. To connect, press and hold FN+E, FN+R, or FN+T for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode for BT 1, BT 2, or BT 3 respectively. Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings and initiate the pairing process. The LED will light steady blue upon connection.

Multi-Function Knob

The ATOM PRO83 features a multi-function knob. By default:

• Press the knob to change side lighting mode.
• Roll left to decrease brightness.
• Roll right to increase brightness.

Press and hold the knob to switch its function to media playback control:

• Press the knob to mute/unmute media sound.
• Roll left to decrease volume.
• Roll right to increase volume.

Software

Note: Software only works in wired mode.

Device Settings

On the software's device screen, you can customize keyboard keys, set macros, and adjust FN layer functions. You can also customize an additional layer of macros by enabling the Fn Layer feature.

1. Set or Record Macros: Click the 'add' icon in the Macro bar list to start macro customization. Click 'Record' to begin recording. Click 'Stop' when finished. The macro saves automatically.
2. Edit Macros: After recording, you can edit the macro by clicking the input step. Add more steps with 'add' or modify existing steps with 'Modify'.
3. Apply Macros: Return to the Main screen and click on a key to assign the recorded macro to it.

Lighting Settings

Customize up to 22 lighting modes. Adjust the speed and brightness for some modes.

Music Mode

Activate music lighting effects. Choose from 7 different music lighting effects and adjust brightness and speed.

Knob Settings

Customize the knob's function. Options include keyboard lighting, side lighting, mute, and play/pause media control.

General Settings

Restore your keyboard to factory settings by pressing 'Restore Factory'. You can also disable the Windows key, ALT+TAB, and ALT+F4 to prevent accidental presses during gaming.
