Simpson® Model PS61264 Gas Pressure Washer Recall
What is the problem?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the lithium battery in the pressure washer's electric start system can overheat, posing a burn hazard. While no injuries have been reported, two reports of batteries overheating and damaging the units have been received.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using their Simpson Model PS61264 Gas Pressure Washer and contact the manufacturer, FNA® Group, for instructions on how to have their unit repaired free of charge at an authorized repair facility. The repair will replace the lithium battery in the electric start system with a sealed lead acid battery.

Affected Units
This recall applies to all Simpson Model PS61264 Gas Pressure Washers. These units were sold exclusively by Lowes. Simpson model numbers can be found on a silver label on the frame of the unit.
