GROUND FORCE ELITE MOTOR AND CHAIN TENSIONER REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
CAUTION: To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and disconnect charger before conducting any assembly or maintenance procedures. Failure to follow these steps in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.

Step 1
Using a 4 mm Allen wrench, loosen and remove the four (4) hex bolts that hold the battery cover. Place your finger under the bolt to prevent the lock nut from falling out of place. Save bolts and lock nuts for re-installation.

Step 2
Lift and remove the battery cover being careful not to pull the wires from the power switch and charger port. Locate and disconnect the motor from the controller.

Step 3
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw that holds the motor cables to the frame.

Step 4
Using a 4 mm Allen wrench and 10 mm open wrench, loosen and remove the four (4) bolts that hold the motor and chain tensioner bracket onto the frame.

Step 5
Motor and chain tensioner bracket are held by lock nuts at the bottom. Once you remove the bolt and lock nuts, tilt the motor and dismount the chain from the motor sprocket. Remove motor and chain tensioner bracket.

Step 6
To install new motor and chain tensioner, reverse steps 1-5.
ATTENTION: Charge battery 12 hours before using.
