Product Description and Intended Use

The ConnectModule is designed for use exclusively with the features of the eBike Flow app. A compatible mobile device with the eBike Flow app installed is required. It is intended for use with an eBike, particularly for tracking the eBike in case of theft.

Operation

The ConnectModule requires a functioning GPS and mobile connection. It features motion sensors, a global navigation satellite system, and mobile communication to identify suspicious movements, determine the eBike's location, and generate a local alarm. Position and movement data are displayed in the eBike Flow app. The ConnectModule enables services like . Starting Operation

Once installed in an eBike, the ConnectModule can be activated once via the eBike Flow app. Services like can be activated and used through the app. The eBike Flow app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Scan the provided QR code to download the app. Services can be deactivated at any time via the app; reactivation is possible as long as the user has a valid activation. Deactivation of the ConnectModule itself is not provided.

Switching On and Off

The ConnectModule does not require separate switching. As long as it is powered and services are active, it transmits data to the owner. It has an internal battery to provide services independently of the eBike battery. The internal battery's charge status can be viewed in the eBike Flow app. If critical, an eBike battery should be inserted and the Bosch eBike charger connected.

Maintenance and Servicing

The ConnectModule is maintenance-free. For damage or failure, contact an authorized dealer. If services are not functioning, contact the dealer where the ConnectModule was purchased. When handing in your eBike for service, it is recommended to temporarily deactivate and to prevent false alarms.

Transport

When transporting your eBike (e.g., in a trailer, train, or airplane), it is recommended to deactivate all individual services or activate . This disables all ConnectModule communication and prevents false alarms.

Disposal

The drive unit, on-board computer, battery, speed sensor, accessories, and packaging should be disposed of in an environmentally correct manner. Ensure personal data is deleted from the device. Do not dispose of eBikes and their components with household waste. In accordance with EU directives 2012/19/EU and 2006/66/EC, electronic devices and batteries must be collected separately for environmentally friendly recycling. Bosch eBike components that are no longer usable can be returned free of charge to an authorized dealer or a recycling facility.
