Installation Steps
New Vehicle Installation
- Step 1: Open the rear hatch. Remove the Cargo Blocks from the packaging.
- Step 2: Place Cargo Blocks on the floor in a one (1) foot square shape, with bottoms facing each other as shown. This is the recommended position for demonstrating this accessory.
For Customers
- Step 1: Open the rear hatch. This product is intended for use on carpeted surfaces only. Place Cargo Block(s) on the vehicle floor hook side down surrounding the cargo to be restrained. Ensure the weight of the item is on the block face. NOTE: Insufficient weight on the block face may result in unstable Cargo Block(s). Ensure the Cargo Block(s) are properly positioned against the cargo.
- Step 2: To move Cargo Block(s): Remove any weight or items on top. Lift up vertically until the block has disengaged with the floor. Reposition as needed.
WARNING: Unstable cargo could become unbalanced during driving. Place cargo in the most stable position before driving. Cargo is most secure when its weight (Max 15 lbs) and center of gravity are lowest to the ground.
WARNING: Cargo Blocks(s) will not restrain cargo during heavy braking or accident. Unrestrained cargo can cause injury.
Care & Cleaning
The Cargo Blocks can be wiped, swept, lightly vacuumed, cleaned with water, or soap and water. Do not use petroleum-based solvents for cleaning. Ensure the Cargo Blocks are completely dry before placing them in the vehicle.
