3. Installation
CAUTION: Please read the instructions carefully before beginning installation.
- To avoid short circuits that could damage the units or cause other incidents, ensure connectors are fully inserted when connecting wires.
- Install the Adapter (2) in a well-ventilated place to maintain an appropriate ambient temperature.
- The LED Controller can be hidden behind the cabinet. The remote control has an effective distance of approximately 33 feet.
- If you encounter issues after installation, attempt to resolve them using the troubleshooting guide (page 4). If problems persist, contact the seller for support.
Preparatory Work:
Plan the installation locations and connection method (series/parallel).
Connection Methods:
1) Parallel Connection (Picture 1): Connect the lights in parallel. The quantity of lights on each side does not need to be the same.
2) Series Connection (Picture 2): Connect the lights in series.
STEP 1: Mount the LED Bars
- Install the lights using Screws (9) and Brackets (8).
- Alternatively, install the lights using the Two-Sided Stickers (7).
STEP 2: Connect the LED Bars
Connect the LED bars using the Connectors (10). Ensure the arrows on the connectors align.
STEP 3: Connect to LED Controller
Connect the LED bars to the LED Controller (5). Extension Cords (4) can be used as needed. Ensure arrow-to-arrow alignment.
STEP 4: Connect to Adapter
Connect the LED Controller (5) to the Adapter (2).
STEP 5: Power Connection
Plug the Adapter (2) into an electrical outlet. Alternatively, cut off the plug and connect the wires directly to the electrical outlet.
STEP 6: Pair Remote Control
- Pull out the insulation sheet from the remote control.
- Turn on the lights using the remote.
- Point the remote at the LED Controller (5). Press and hold the orange and light blue buttons (as shown in Picture 2) simultaneously for 3-5 seconds until the lights flicker to confirm pairing.
- Installation is complete. You can now control the lights according to your preferences.
4. Fault Analysis
4.1 Remote Control and Controller Pairing Issues
- Check Insulation Sheet: Ensure the insulation sheet on the remote control has been pulled out. Re-pair if necessary.
- Check Wire Connections: Verify that all wire connections are correctly aligned (arrow to arrow). Correct any misalignments.
4.2 Partial Light Bar Not Lighting Up
- Check Wire Connections: Ensure all wire connections are aligned correctly (arrow to arrow). Unplug and reconnect if necessary.
4.3 Remote Control Functions
- Brightness Control: Buttons labeled 'R', 'G', 'B', 'W' control brightness for their respective chips.
- Color Selection: Buttons for 'R', 'G', 'B', 'W' can be used to select static colors. There are 20 kinds of static colors available.
- White/Warm White Control: Buttons for brightness up/down and on/off control the white/warm white LEDs. There are 4 types of brightness levels.
- Color Change Modes: Buttons for 'JUMP3', 'FADE7', 'SKIP', 'JUMP7', 'AUTO', 'BLOW' control color change speed and modes (e.g., 3 color jump change, 7 color fade change, color skip change quickly, color change automatically).
