The scope of delivery for the device is shown on the packaging. Check the contents upon unpacking. Notify the retailer in case of missing accessories or transport damage.

Warranty conditions are country-specific. Defects due to material or manufacturing faults will be rectified free of charge within the warranty period. For warranty claims, contact the retailer or the nearest authorized service center with proof of purchase.

Installing the Guide Rollers

  1. Before first use, remove contents from the container. (Figure B, Figure C)
  2. Note: For stainless steel containers, accessories are stored externally.

Commissioning

WARNING: Vacuuming without foam or cartridge filter

Device damage. Always operate with the foam or cartridge filter installed, for both wet and dry vacuuming.

Installing the Dust Bag

  1. Fully unfold the dust bag.
  2. Place the dust bag onto the device's connection and press firmly. (Figure D)
  3. Install and secure the upper part of the device. (Figure E)

Note: Karcher recommends using a dust bag for collecting fine dust.

Installing the Hose, Tube, and Floor Nozzle

  1. Connect the suction hose. (Figure F)
  2. Connect the suction hose to the handle. (Figure G)

Note: For easier cleaning in confined spaces, the handle can be removed, and accessories attached directly to the suction hose. To remove the handle, press the gray areas on both sides of the handle and detach it from the hose.

  1. Install the floor nozzle. Insert the insert into the floor nozzle. Connect the floor nozzle to the suction tubes. (Figure H)

Starting Operation

  1. Insert the mains plug into the socket. (Figure I)

Devices without Socket

  1. Set the device switch to the desired position. (Figure J)
    • Position "1/ON": Suction/blowing function is activated.
    • Position "0/OFF": Device is switched off.

Devices with Socket

  1. Set the device switch to the desired position. (Figure K)
    • Position "1/ON": Suction/blowing function is activated.
    • Position : When a power tool is connected, the suction function is activated automatically.
    • Position "0/OFF": Device is switched off.

Note: If the device receives power from a power source, the device socket can be used as such.

Note: When the power tool is switched on, the suction turbine starts with a 0.5-second delay. After switching off the power tool, the suction turbine continues to run for approximately 5 seconds to draw residual dirt from the suction hose.

Blowing Function

The blowing function can be used for cleaning hard-to-reach areas or places where vacuuming is not possible, e.g., cleaning leaves from gravel paths.

Suspending Operation

  1. Set the switch to position "0 OFF". The device switches off.
  2. Version 1: Insert the suction hose handle into the intermediate parking position. (Figure O)
  3. Version 2: Hang the floor nozzle in the parking position. (Figure P)

Finishing Operation

  1. Set the switch to position "0 OFF". The device switches off.
  2. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
  3. Remove the upper part of the device. (Figure B)
  4. Empty the container. (Figure Q)
  5. Storage options: (Figure T)

Note: The suction hose can be wrapped around the upper part of the device and secured with the hose clip.

Store the device in a dry, frost-protected location.

Care and Maintenance

General Care Instructions

Cleaning the Foam/Cartridge Filter

  1. If necessary, the foam/cartridge filter can be rinsed under running water. To do this, remove the foam filter from the filter housing. The cartridge filter can be unlocked and removed by turning it in the direction of the symbol.
  2. Do not rub or scrape the foam/cartridge filter with a brush during cleaning.
  3. Allow the foam/cartridge filter to dry completely before re-use.
  4. Reinstalling the filter depending on the application:
    • Foam filter: Place the filter onto the filter housing and ensure it is correctly seated.
    • Cartridge filter: Place the filter onto the filter housing and turn it in the direction of the symbol, then ensure it is securely fastened. (Figure R, Figure S)

Special Accessories

Note: For models with a foam filter, a cartridge filter can be purchased as a special accessory and used instead of the foam filter.

  1. Before installing the cartridge filter, remove the black cover and keep it for later use with the foam filter.
  2. Install the cartridge filter and tighten it fully. (Figure R)
