Disconnect both negative(-) battery terminals. 2. Locate the MAP sensor: On the 2001 LB7 Duramax, the MAP sensor is located on the right intake manifold. On the 2002-2004 LB7 Duramax, the MAP sensor is located on the intake tube in the center of the engine. On the 2004.5 and later LLY/LBZ/LMM Duramax, the MAP sensor is located on the intake tube above the alternator bracket as shown. Figure 1 - '02-'04 (Left) and 04.5-09 (Right) MAP Sensor Locations 3. Unplug factory connector and plug the Electronic fuel regulator in. 4. Reconnect the negative (-) battery terminals. 5.
