Assembly Instructions

Fan Assembly

Set the back grid on the motor shaft, make sure that the internal arrow (as drawn in the enhancement within Figure B) points up and the 4 central clips fit. You might push firmly in order to make them tightly fit. Once the 4 clips have been set, make sure they are tight. [Diagram: Figure C]

Take the 3x8 mm W/ Washer screw (A) from your kit and screw it with the help of a Phillips screwdriver over the cylinder-shaped housing that is seen at the top of the grill. [Diagram: Figure D]

Set the fan blades correctly on the engine body and screw the blades nut towards the word "THIGHTEN" as the arrows show. [Diagram: Figure E]

Join the front and back grills together by aligning the 6 fixing clips and push firmly until a "click" sound is heard. [Diagram: Figure F]

Take the M3mm nut (C) from your kit and place it on the hex socket at the bottom of the rear grille. [Diagram: Figure G]

Then take the M3x20 mm screw (B) from your kit and put it on the socket on the bottom of the front grille. With the help of a Phillips screwdriver, screw the nut to secure both racks. [Diagram: Figure H]

Mounting the Base

Unscrew the L screw from the telescopic tube washer. Set the tube inside the base's round space.

Set the counterweight at the bottom of the base. Set the washer under the counterweight so that the domed part keeps touching the counterweight. [Diagram: Figure I]

Screw clockwise the L screw into the washer hole holding the telescopic tube until it is firmly tight into the base. [Diagram: Figure J]

Stand Assembly

Screw the height fixing ring counter clockwise and lift the stand internal tube until it reaches the desired height. The maximum fan height is 53.15 in.

Screw the height fixing ring clockwise until it is safely tight in order to fix the fan's height.

Unscrew the fixing knob and fit the telescopic tube inside the engine body set (motor, blades and grids). Make sure to reach the bottom of the base and screw the fixing knob clockwise until it is firmly adjusted.

Assembling the Wall Support Attachment

By using a 1/4" drill (not included) make two holes horizontally aligned with 1.57 in of separation (it is not recommended to install the wall support attachment on prefabricated walls or not stable walls). [Diagram: Figures S1-S5]

Insert in every hole a 1/4" plastic dowel (included), then insert in each plastic dowel a 1/4" x 1" screw (included) no more than 2 cm deep (S1).

Set the previously assembled body with grids and blades on the wall support attachment (S2) and tighten it from behind with the fixing knob (S3).

Finally, set the display on the previously set wall screws (S4) and make sure it is properly set (S5).

Swing Pivot

The swing pivot may not be assembled to the engine body.

Find the swing pivot inside one of the plastic bags that contain parts of the fan. Introduce the pivot inside the engine body hole assigned for it and push down firmly until a "click" sound is heard and make sure the pivot is correctly assembled. [Diagram: Figure K]

Operation Mode

ATTENTION: Make sure to turn off the fan by pushing the off button "0", before you decide to move it to another place.

Pilot Light / Night Light

The pilot light helps you locate the fan in the darkness. You turn it on by pushing the button "L" once, and turn it off by pushing the off button "0" once.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Remember to unplug the fan from the electric power supply every time after finishing using it.

To clean the fan exterior, make sure to use a dry cloth lightly wet with a soft liquid soap. Never submerge the fan in water or any other fluid, nor let any water leak into the inside of the fan. Avoid using either corrosive or flammable substances such as gasoline, thinner, etc., since this can damage the fan and produce toxic vapors.

We recommend to follow these steps in order to clean the blades:

  1. Remove the front grid.
  2. Clean the blades with a dry cloth lightly wet with a soft liquid soap.
  3. Make sure to put back the safety grill's fixing locks and that these firmly hold both grills (front and back). Make sure the fan is completely dry before starting it again.

Storage

Make sure to turn the "stand fan" off. Make sure the blades of the "stand fan" are completely stopped.

Do not tangle the electric power cord around the appliance; roll it in circles without forcing it.

Store both appliances in a clean and dry space, and keep it always in a vertical position.

Fuse Replacement

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

  1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
  2. Open fuse cover by sliding open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades. [Diagram: Figure 2 - "Slide Cover to Open"]
  3. Remove fuse carefully. Use a small tool to pry the end of the fuse from the holder cavity. Be careful not to break the glass window.
  4. Replace fuse. WARNING: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with an identical 2.5 or 5.0 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (3.6mm x 10mm).
  5. Be sure fuse is properly seated within its cavity. Close fuse cover by sliding it back to its original closed position.
