NEXO Expands ePS Installation Speaker Range with New ePS12 and eLS18 Sub

NEXO ePS12 & eLS18 Sub

Since its launch in 2021, NEXO's ePS Series has established a strong reputation for performance and value in professional installation loudspeakers. Manufactured in France, this range of 2-way passive cabinets and partner sub-bass units builds upon the success of the legendary PS Series. It features streamlined connection and mounting options, and incorporates new manufacturing techniques and driver designs to achieve competitive price points for NEXO's industry-standard point source products.

The ePS Series, which includes 6, 8, and 10-inch models, along with 12 and 15-inch partner subs, is now expanded with the introduction of the new ePS12 and eLS18.

ePS12 Loudspeaker

The ePS12 incorporates NEXO's signature attributes of high output, superior coverage patterns, directional control, and musical performance within a compact, trapezoidal Baltic-birch enclosure. It features a steel grille for IP55 certified weather resistance.

The ePS12 is equipped with a 12-inch neodymium long-excursion LF driver and a 1.7-inch diaphragm HF compression driver. It utilizes NEXO's trademark rotatable horn design, providing users with flexible dispersion options. The peak SPL at 1 meter is an impressive 133dB, with a frequency response of 60Hz-20kHz at -6dB.

The ePS12 can be stacked or flown. It is designed to partner with the new eLS18 1 x 18-inch sub, which shares the same aesthetic design and extends the low-frequency response down to 32Hz.

Dedicated accessories are available to allow ePS cabinets to be flown beneath the subwoofer, enabling the creation of visually appealing, small-footprint wideband systems.

Connectivity and Mounting

All four main cabinets feature a hard-wired strip for connection, with generic 2x 7 mm pitch IN/OUT screw connectors. An IP cover is provided to protect these connectors from moisture in outdoor applications.

Each side of the cabinet is fitted with two M6 fittings (80mm pitch) and one M10 fitting, allowing for connection to U-brackets, bumper, or eye bolts.

The back of each speaker includes 3x M6 fittings (70mm pitch) for wall mounting in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

Subwoofers are equipped with 2 x 7 mm pitch IN/OUT screw connectors and M10 rigging points.

Finishes and System Integration

All units are finished in black structural paint. White and other RAL colors are available upon special order.

A UV-resistant acoustic fabric covers the front grille.

Systems composed of ePS and eLS elements benefit from high-quality components, familiar to users of NEXO's premium systems.
