Storing the Printer
It is recommended to store the paper tray on top of the printer to save space when it is not in use.
Turning On and Connecting
1. Turning On
Plug the power cord into the power port and press the power button. The printer is on when the power indicator is lit and the Wi-Fi indicator blinks orange, indicating it is waiting for a connection.
2. Connecting with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in your app store to download and install it. Open the app, tap "+" in the upper right corner, and follow the prompts to add your device.
Attention: The Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app is the only way to configure the printer's network settings. Ensure the network connection is configured before using a PC for wireless printing. The latest app version is recommended for a smooth connection. Dual-band steering on your router should be disabled. If the printer is not connected to the network or the connection is lost, it will automatically turn off after ten minutes. Restart it and perform the necessary operations.
Notes:
- If you cannot scan the printer's QR code, search for its name to add it.
- App versions may be updated; follow the instructions based on the current app version.
- The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except Russia). Use the app name displayed on your device as the default.

Cautions
- Recommended operating temperature: 10°C to 35°C. Printing quality may be affected if the ambient temperature is too high.
- Use only genuine ribbon and photo paper for best printing quality.
- During printing, ensure photo paper is placed flat with the glossy side facing up in the paper tray.
- The print head heats up during dye-sublimation printing and may remain hot afterward. Do not touch the print head to avoid burns.
- The photo paper moves back and forth during printing and is ejected automatically upon completion. Be patient and do not pull the paper forcefully to avoid damaging the printer.
- If not using the printer for a long time, remove the paper tray, close openings, and cover to prevent dust. Otherwise, future print quality may be negatively affected.
- Do not touch the glossy side of the photo paper or the ribbon's plastic film to avoid fingerprints affecting print quality.
