- Movement: Once stable with both feet on the deck, the scooter will remain stationary. Move forward or backward by gently shifting your body weight forward or backward. Avoid large body movements. Note: If the deck is not level when the trigger is on, an alarm will sound, and the indicator light will illuminate, preventing the system from entering the automatic balance state. Driving is prohibited in this condition.
- Direction Control: Steer by gently leaning your body.
- Dismounting: Stop the scooter completely. Step off with one foot from the rear (not the front), followed by the other foot.
Description of Driving Posture: The document includes a description of the intelligent drifting scooter's driving drawing, illustrating the rider's stance for balance and control. It emphasizes a relaxed posture with slightly bent knees and feet placed firmly on the deck. Body movements should be subtle to control direction and speed.
Prohibitions: Turning quickly at high speeds is dangerous. Avoid driving or turning on slopes, as this can offset the balancing angle and compromise driver safety.
2.2 Intelligent Drifting Scooter Protection Function
The system provides warnings for errors or irregularities during driving:
- General Warning: Alarm light is normally on, buzzer sounds intermittently. The system may not enter balance mode. This occurs when:
- The platform tilts forward or backward more than 10 degrees during mounting.
- Battery voltage is too low.
- The scooter is in the process of charging.
- The deck lifts during driving (operation prohibited).
- Over-speeding.
- Low battery.
- Scooter unit shakes back and forth for more than 30 seconds.
- Protection Mode: Alarm light is normally on, buzzer alarms at a high rate. This occurs when:
- Platform tilts forward or backward more than 35 degrees (direct stop condition).
- Tire locked-rotor (stop condition in 2 seconds).
- Battery voltage is lower than the protection threshold (stop condition in 15 seconds).
- Continuous large current discharge (e.g., long uphill slope) (stop condition after 15 seconds).
WARNING! When the scooter is off, the system locks automatically and can be unlocked with a button. If the battery is depleted or the system enters protection mode, stop driving immediately as the scooter cannot balance. Continuing to drive can cause injury and affect battery life.
