This certificate is valid only when the product meets the safety standards and is produced from the manufacturing factory that states on this certificate.
Misuse of the safety certification mark, or using it in a way that misleads the public, may result in suspension or cancellation of the certification.
The Safety Certificate shall be reapplied and reissued for revision in case of:
- Changes in certificate contents such as manufacturer, representative, or address.
- Additions, changes, or removals of series models.
- Additions or changes in components listed on the certificate.
Recipients of the Safety Certificate shall comply with the following:
- Maintaining and preserving the Mark and other certification requirements. Using the certification mark before issue or after suspension/cancellation is punishable by law.
- Conducting self-testing and record keeping. Products must be inspected to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Recipients of the Safety Certificate shall require inspection once every two years according to Article 7 of the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act.
Certificate verification is supported by a document management number, timestamp verification, and a 2D barcode.
