The Luoran MP3 Player S5 features the following components:

• ON/OFF Button: Located on the side for powering the device on/off.

Button & Port Description

Power ON/OFF

• Power On: In shutdown state, press and hold for 3 seconds.
• Screen On/Off: Short press in the power-on state.
• Shutdown: Long press in the power-on state.

Reset Function

Use a pin to press the reset button inside the hole for a forced reset.

Volume - & +

Press the '-' button to decrease volume and the '+' button to increase volume. Continuous pressing will continuously adjust the volume.

USB-C Port

Used for charging the device and transferring files to and from a computer.

Micro SD Slot

Expand the storage of the device. Supports a maximum of 256GB (FAT32 or exFAT).

3.5mm Jack

Connect earphones or external speakers for audio output.

Speaker

Built-in speaker for listening to audio without headphones.

Transfer Files

Transfer Files From Smartphone (OTG)

1. Prepare OTG-compatible equipment: an OTG-enabled phone and a compatible OTG cable.
2. Connect the OTG cable to your phone's charging port and the S5's USB Type-C port. Your phone should recognize the S5 as external storage.
3. Open your phone's file manager, locate your music files, select them, and tap "Copy". Navigate to the S5's storage folder and tap "Paste" to transfer the files.

Transfer Files From PC

Using a USB-C Cable:

1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the provided USB cable. Wait for the computer to recognize the player.
2. Select the file transfer mode on the S5.
3. Open "My Computer", locate the connected storage device (e.g., Drive E), drag and drop songs into the MP3 player's music folder. Select "Update Playlist" in the music folder of the S5.

Using TF/Micro-SD Card:

1. Connect the micro SD card to your computer and ensure it is detected.
2. Copy and paste the files to the micro SD card.
3. Safely disconnect the SD card from your computer and insert it into the MP3 player.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Responding to Charging or Connecting to PC

• Use the original USB-C cable. The player does not support PD fast charging.
• When connected to a computer in power-on state, it defaults to charging status. Select file transfer mode if needed.
• If not charging, check the USB-C cable and power adapter for damage. Try a different standard USB-C cable and adapter.

SD Card Not Working Properly

• The MP3 player supports FAT32 or exFAT micro SD cards up to 256GB.
• Format the SD card before inserting it into the player.

How to Factory Reset the Device?

In power-on mode: Navigate to Setting > Restore > Confirm the Restore Factory Reset.

Device Does Not Turn On After Charging?

• Perform a force-reset: Use a pin to press the reset button, then press the power button.
• If the issue persists, contact support@luoranmusic.com.
