This manual contains helpful hints for using and maintaining your dehumidifier. Proper care can save time and money. Troubleshooting tips are included to help fix common problems before calling for service.
CAUTION:
- Contact an authorized service technician for repair or maintenance.
- The unit is not designed for unsupervised use by young children or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
- Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the unit.
- If the power cord needs replacement, contact consumer service and an authorized technician.
- Electrical installation must be performed by qualified personnel according to national regulations.
0 Safety Precautions
Follow these instructions to prevent injury and property damage. Incorrect operation may cause harm or damage.

General Warnings:
- Plug in the power plug properly to avoid electric shock or fire due to overheating.
- Do not modify the power cord length or share the outlet with other appliances.
- Always ensure effective grounding to prevent electric shock.
- Unplug the unit if you hear strange sounds, smell smoke, or see smoke. A damaged product may cause fire and electric shock.
- Ventilate the room if there is a gas leak from other appliances.
- Do not operate or stop the unit by inserting or pulling out the power plug, as this may cause electric shock.
- Do not allow water to touch electric parts, as this may cause failure or electric shock.
- Do not use a loose or damaged socket.
- Keep the power cord away from heating appliances or heat sources.
- Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
- Do not use an unspecified power cord.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a qualified person.
- Do not use the unit near flammable gas or combustibles (e.g., gasoline, benzene, thinner).
- Turn off the power and unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Do not remove the water bucket during operation, as the bucket full protection may activate and pose an electric shock risk.
Specific Cautions:
- Do not use the unit in small spaces; lack of ventilation can cause overheating and fire.
- Do not use in places where water may splash onto the unit, as water can enter and degrade insulation, causing electric shock or fire.
- Place the unit on a level, sturdy floor. If it falls, water may spill, causing damage or electrical shock/fire.
- Never insert fingers or foreign objects into grills or openings. Warn children of these dangers.
- Do not climb up on or sit on the unit, as you may be injured if it falls.
- Always insert filters securely. Clean the filter every two weeks.
- If water enters the unit, turn it off, disconnect power, and contact a qualified service technician.
- Do not place flower vases or other water containers on top of the unit.
- If the unit is knocked over, turn it off and unplug it immediately. Inspect for damage and contact customer service if suspected.
- During thunderstorms, cut off the power to avoid damage from lightning.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting, throw rugs, runners, or furniture. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas to prevent tripping.
WARNING - Electrical Information:
- The manufacturer's nameplate on the rear panel contains electrical and technical data.
- Ensure the unit is properly grounded. The power cord has a three-prong grounding plug.
- Use a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the receptacle is not adequately grounded or protected, have a qualified electrician install a proper one.
- Ensure the receptacle is accessible after installation.
- Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs, unless it's an approved "dehumidifier" extension cord.
- Disconnect the unit from power supply before installing or servicing to avoid personal injury.

- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids nearby.
- Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Do not remove any prong from the power cord.
1 Unit Specifications and Features
Product Overview
Front View: Features a control panel, handle, panel area, water bucket with a water level window, and casters.
Rear View: Features an air outlet, air intake, air filter (behind the grill), continuous drain hose outlet, pump drain hose outlet (on some models), power cord, and power plug. The power cord buckle is located in the water bucket for storage.

2 Operating Instructions
CAUTION: Clean your unit occasionally and unplug it before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
Key Pad Features:
- Indicator Lights: Clean filter, Bucket full, Comfort dehumidifying operation, Auto defrost operation, Continuous operation, High fan, Timer on/off.
- Buttons: pump, filter, comfort, cont. (continuous), turbo, timer, power.
- LED Display: Shows settings and current room humidity.
Note: The control panel may differ slightly by model.
Control Pads:
- Pressing buttons may produce a beep sound to indicate mode changes.
- (COMFORT) Button: Activates comfort dehumidifying operation. Humidity is set automatically.
- (FILTER) Button: Reminder to clean the Air Filter. An LED illuminates after 250 hours of operation. Press the Filter button after cleaning to reset.
- (CONTINUE) Button: Activates continuous dehumidifying operation.
- (TURBO) Button: Controls fan speed (Turbo or normal). Select Turbo for maximum moisture removal.
- (TIMER) Button: Starts Timer ON and Timer OFF function setting.
- Up/Down Buttons (=/+): Adjust humidity level (35%-85% RH in 5% increments) or Timer settings (0-24 hours). Use '=' for drier air or lower timer value, '+' for damper air or higher timer value.
- (POWER) Button: Turns the dehumidifier on and off.
LED Display:
Shows set humidity (35%-85%) or timer settings (0-24). After setting, it displays actual room humidity (30%-90% RH +/- 5% accuracy).
Error Codes and Protection Codes:
- AS: Humidity sensor error. Unplug and replug. Contact Customer Service if persists.
- ES: Evaporator temperature sensor error. Unplug and replug. Contact Customer Service if persists.
- P2: Bucket is full or not in right position. Empty bucket and replace correctly. (Applies to units with/without pump feature, with slight variations in message).
- EC: Refrigerant leakage detection. Contact Customer Service if persists.
- E3: Unit malfunction. Unplug and replug. Contact Customer Service if persists.
- Eb: Bucket removed or not in right position. Replace bucket correctly. (For units with pump feature).
Other Features:
- Bucket Full Light: Illuminates when the bucket needs emptying.
- Auto Shut Off: Unit shuts off when the bucket is full, removed, or not replaced properly. It also shuts off when the set humidity is reached (fan motor may continue).
- Auto Defrost: Automatically cycles off the compressor when frost builds up on evaporator coils.
Other Features (cont.)
Wait 3 minutes before resuming operation:
After stopping, the unit will not restart for 3 minutes to protect the compressor. It will restart automatically after this period.
Auto-Restart:
If the unit stops unexpectedly due to a power cut, it will restart with the previous function settings when power resumes.
Setting the Timer ON and Timer OFF:
- When unit is ON: Press Timer button. Timer OFF light illuminates (program initiated). Press again for Timer ON light (program initiated).
- When unit is OFF: Press Timer button. Timer ON light illuminates (program initiated). Press again for Timer OFF light (program initiated).
- Use '=' and '+' buttons to set timer in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, then 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. The control counts down the remaining time.
- Selected time registers in 5 seconds, and the system reverts to humidity setting display.
- When both ON and OFF times are set, indicator lights show programming.
- Turning the unit ON/OFF or setting timer to 0.0 cancels the Timer function.
- If LED displays P2, Auto Start/Stop function is cancelled.
NOTES:
- For first-time use, operate the unit continuously for 24 hours.
- Ensure the plastic cover on the continuous drain hose outlet is tightly installed to prevent leaks.
- The unit is designed for working environments between 5°C/41°F and 35°C/95°F.
- Ensure the water bucket is positioned correctly. Be careful when moving the unit if the water level is high to avoid spills.
Removing Collected Water
There are three ways to remove collected water:
1. Use the bucket:
- When the unit is off and the bucket is full, the 'Full' indicator light will illuminate.
- When the unit is on and the bucket is full, the compressor and fan turn off, the 'Full' indicator lights, and the display shows P2.
- Slowly pull out the bucket, gripping both sides securely, and pull straight to avoid spilling. Do not place the bucket unevenly, as this can cause spills.
- Discard the water and reposition the bucket. The unit will restart when the bucket is back in place.
NOTES:
- When removing the bucket, do not touch internal parts to avoid product damage.
- Push the bucket gently all the way into the unit.
- If the pump hose drops when removing the bucket, reinstall it properly before replacing the bucket.
- If the bucket is removed while the unit is on, the compressor and fan turn off, the unit beeps 8 times, and the display shows Eb. The same occurs if the bucket is removed while the unit is off.

2. Continuous draining:
Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching a water hose (ID ≥ Ø 5/16", not included, female threaded end ID: M = 1", not included).
- Remove the plastic cover from the back drain outlet (rotate counter-clockwise) and set aside.
- Insert the drain hose through the drain outlet and lead it to a floor drain or suitable facility.
- If water is present in the outlet, dry it. Ensure the hose is secure and the end is level or lower than the outlet for proper flow.
- Direct the hose toward the drain, ensuring no kinks.
- Select desired humidity and fan speed settings to start continuous draining.
NOTE: When not using continuous draining, remove the drain hose and dry the outlet.

3. Pump draining (Pump models only):
Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain or facility by attaching a pump drain hose (Ø od = 1/4", supplied).
- Remove the continuous drain hose and install the plastic cover to the continuous drain hose outlet (rotate clockwise).
- Insert the pump drain hose into the pump drain hose outlet (at least 15mm) and lead it to the floor drain or facility.
- Press the pump pad on the unit to activate pump operation. The pump starts when the bucket is full.

NOTE:
- The pump may generate loud noise for 3-5 minutes when starting.
- Ensure the hose is secure and directed towards the drain without kinks.
- Place the end of the hose into the drain.
- Select desired humidity and fan speed for pump draining.
NOTE: If the pump operation light blinks, a failure has occurred. Turn off the unit, disconnect power, and check the following:
- Cleaning the pump filter: Remove the bucket, detach the pump, and clean the filter (See Fig. 12).
- Check if the drain hose is clean and free of debris.
- Empty the water bucket.
- Check hose connection and bucket fitting. Contact Customer Service if errors persist.
NOTE: Do not use pump draining when outdoor temperature is 0°C (32°F) or below, as water may freeze and block the unit. Empty the bucket at least once a week when using pump draining. Remove the pump drain hose if not in use.

3 Installation Instructions
Positioning the Unit:
A dehumidifier in a basement is most effective in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area with adequate air circulation.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This dehumidifier is intended for indoor residential applications only, not for commercial or industrial use.
- Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor strong enough to support its weight with a full water bucket.
- Allow at least 8 inches of air space on all sides for circulation (at least 16 inches for the air outlet).
- Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not fall below 41°F (5°C) to prevent coil frosting and reduced performance.
- Place the unit away from clothes dryers, heaters, or radiators.
- Close all doors, windows, and other openings to the room.

4 Care and Cleaning
Turn the dehumidifier off and unplug it from the wall before cleaning.
1. Clean the Grill and Case:
- Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives.
- Do not splash water directly onto the unit to avoid electrical shock, insulation damage, or rust.
- Use a vacuum cleaner or brush to clean the air intake and outlet if they get dirty.
2. Clean the bucket:
Every few weeks, clean the bucket thoroughly to prevent mold, mildew, and bacteria growth. Partially fill with clean water and mild detergent, swish, empty, and rinse.
NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the bucket.
3. Clean the air filter:
- Pull the filter outwards to remove it (See Fig. 14).
- Wash the filter with clean water and dry it.
- Re-install the filter and replace the bucket.
CAUTION: DO NOT operate the dehumidifier without a filter to avoid performance loss and unit damage.
4. When not using the unit for long time periods:
- Before storing, let the unit rest for one full day to dry out naturally.
- Clean the unit, water bucket, and air filter.
- Wrap the power cord using the power cord buckle.
- Cover the unit with a plastic bag.
- Store the unit upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

5 Troubleshooting Tips
Review this list before calling for service to save time and money. It covers common issues not due to defects.

Unit does not start | - Ensure the dehumidifier plug is firmly connected to the wall outlet.
- Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.
- Check if the dehumidifier has reached its preset level or if the bucket is full.
- Verify the water bucket is in the proper position.
- Allow sufficient time for moisture removal.
- Ensure no curtains, blinds, or furniture are blocking the front or back of the dehumidifier.
- Check if the humidity control is set low enough.
- Confirm all doors, windows, and other openings are securely closed.
- Ensure the room temperature is not too low (below 5°C/41°F).
- Identify and address any water vapor sources in the room.
