Dial Function Definition (Shooting Modes):

  • Interval shooting: Automatically takes photos at set intervals continuously.
  • Self-timer shooting: Starts a countdown and takes photos at the set time.
  • Burst shooting: Continuously takes a set number of photos in one sequence.
  • Photo: Normal shooting mode.
  • Filter shooting: Shooting mode with filters applied.
  • Video + Photo: Takes photos at set intervals while recording video.
  • Time-lapse video: Automatically records video with set time compression.
  • Loop recording: The camera continuously records video in a repeating loop.
  • Video: Normal video recording mode.

Battery Installation and Usage

Battery Compartment:

Battery Installation and Removal:

  • Insertion: Align the battery as shown in the diagram, with the protruding step facing down. Insert it horizontally in the direction of the arrow, and allow the battery latch to lock automatically. Then close the hatch door.
  • Removal: Pull the hatch door switch inward to open the hatch door. Use your finger to move the battery latch inward, and the battery will partially pop up automatically. Then remove the battery by hand or by inverting the device.

Power On

Press gently the [power-symbol] button for 2 seconds, and the device will turn on automatically; it will then automatically enter the corresponding mode interface according to the position of the rotary switch.

Shooting

  1. Insert the SD card, then install the battery and press the [power-symbol] button to turn on the device.
  2. Rotate the mode dial to the [camera-icon] to enter the photo shooting mode.
  3. Press the shutter button gently to take a photo, which will be saved automatically.
  4. Press the [delete-icon] button to quickly delete photos.
  5. Press the [playback-icon] button to view captured photos.
  6. For advanced shooting functions, rotate the mode dial to select the corresponding icon and adjust settings via the menu.

Video Recording

  1. Insert the SD card, then install the battery and press the [power-symbol] button to turn on the device.
  2. Rotate the mode dial to the [video-camera-icon] to enter the video recording mode.
  3. Press the shutter button gently to start recording video; press the shutter button again to stop recording, and the video will be saved automatically.
  4. Press the [delete-icon] button to quickly access the photo deletion function.
  5. Press the [playback-icon] button to view captured photos.
  6. During video recording, press the [pause-icon] button to pause recording; press it again to resume normal recording.
  7. For other shooting functions, rotate the mode dial to select the corresponding icon and adjust settings via the menu.

Note: The pause duration during video recording must not exceed the set auto-power-off time; otherwise, the device will power off automatically. If long-term pause is required, disable the auto-power-off function first.

Function Settings

You can operate the settings by tapping the icons on the touchscreen or using the function buttons on the camera.

  1. Tap the "Menu" icon on the screen or press the "MENU" button on the camera to open the current mode menu.
  2. Either directly tap the function on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons on the camera to select the desired function, then press the "OK" button to enter the submenu. Tap the parameters on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons.

Select the desired parameter and press "OK" to confirm. Tap the back icon on the screen, or press the "MENU" button on the camera to exit the menu and return to the shooting interface.

Example: Changing Photo Resolution

  1. Switch the mode dial to normal photo mode, then tap the "MENU" icon on the screen or press the "MENU" button on the camera to open the photo mode menu.
  2. Tap "Resolution" on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons to select "Resolution". Then press "OK" to enter the submenu. Tap "12M" on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons to select "12M", then press "OK" to confirm.
  3. Tap the back icon on the screen, or press the "MENU" button on the camera to exit the menu and return to the photo interface.

System Settings

  1. Tap the "MENU" icon on the screen or press the "Menu" button on the camera to open the current mode menu. Press the "Left/Right" buttons on the camera to enter the system settings menu.
  2. Either directly tap the function on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons on the camera to select the desired function, then press the "OK" button to enter the submenu.
  3. Tap the parameter on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons to select the desired parameter, then press "OK" to confirm.
  4. Tap the back icon on the screen, or press the "MENU" button on the camera to exit the menu and return to the shooting interface.

Memory Card Formatting and Macro Function

Format the Memory Card

  1. Tap the "MENU" icon on the screen or press the "Menu" button on the camera to open the photo mode menu. Press the "Left/Right" buttons on the camera to enter the system settings menu.
  2. Tap "Format" on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons to select "Format Card", then press "OK" to enter the submenu. Tap "Yes" on the screen, or use the "Up/Down" buttons to select "Yes", then press "OK" to confirm.
  3. After formatting is completed, the camera will automatically return to the settings menu. Tap the back icon on the screen, or press the "MENU" button on the camera to exit the menu and return to the photo interface.

Macro Function

  1. In photo mode, set the focus mode to fixed focus mode, then press the top button to activate the macro mode.
  2. When the macro mode is enabled, the camera will lock the focus at the optimal position of approximately 5-8cm for optimal sharpness.
  3. Press the button again to exit the macro mode.

Note: The macro function is not supported in video mode. When using macro in photo mode, you need to set the focus mode to fixed focus in the settings menu. Additionally, the macro function does not have a memory function when the camera is turned off—it will automatically disable when the camera is restarted.

Connecting to Computer and WiFi

Connect to Computer

  1. Turn on the camera and use the provided USB cable to connect the camera's Type-C USB port to a USB port on your computer. The screen will display available options.
  2. Use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired option, then press the OK button to confirm the selection.

Connection Options:

  • Charging mode: Supports recording while charging. Faster charging when power is off.
  • Mass storage mode: Computer displays camera's memory card drive for file transfer.
  • Webcam: Select "PC webcam mode" for live streaming. Other functions unavailable.

Play and Delete

  1. Tap the [playback-icon] or press the [play-button] button on the camera to open the media library.
  2. Tap "Video" or "Photo" on the screen, or use the "Left/Right" buttons to select "Video" or "Photo", then press "OK" to enter the playback interface.
  3. When viewing files, press the "Left/Right" buttons to switch pages, and press the "MENU" button to open or close the delete/protect menu. Press the [play-button] button to exit the media library.
  4. When viewing video files, press the "OK" button to start/pause playback. Press the "Left/Right" buttons to fast forward/rewind. Press the "OK" button to resume playback, and press the [play-button] button to stop playback. Press the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume. Press the [play-button] button again to exit the media library.
  5. You can also quickly delete the last recorded file by pressing the [delete-icon] button in the shooting interface.

WiFi Function

App Download

  • Android: Search for "Weiyou Yipai" in the App Market, then click to download and install it.
  • iOS: Search for "Weiyou Yipai" in the App Store, then click to download and install it.

Connecting the Device

  1. Open the "App", click the "Add Camera" button, and the page will jump to the prompt page for turning on the camera's WiFi.
  2. Turn on the camera, short-press the "WiFi" button on the home screen to enter the WiFi connection waiting page. The page will display the WiFi name and password. Stay on this page and do not exit.

WiFi screen description: "WiFi On", "WiFi Name: QGD90_045913", "WiFi Password: 12345678". Text below says "Please keep device and phone within 5 meters". Another line says "Press WiFi button to turn off WiFi".

  1. In the mobile app, click the "Next" button to enter the prompt page for connecting to the camera.
  2. Click the "Add Camera" button, and the app will navigate to the phone's WiFi connection page.
  3. On the phone's WiFi list page, select the name of the camera's WiFi, enter the corresponding password, and click Connect.
  4. After the WiFi connection is successful, the page will return to the app page, and the camera screen will display: "WiFi connection ready". The app will automatically navigate to the photo/video page and display the real-time image captured by the camera. At this point, the phone and the camera are successfully connected.

III. After the app is connected to the camera, functions such as taking photos, recording videos, downloading, and deleting can be performed. Please refer to the text prompts on the app interface for operation.

IV. Disconnecting: On the WiFi connection page, press the 'WIFI' button on the camera panel to exit the WiFi connection; the camera will return to the shooting interface.

Charge and Reset

Charge

When the device displays a low-voltage prompt, it is necessary to charge the device in a timely manner. The charging cable uses a Type-C plug, and a DC5V=2A charger is recommended. When charging, the charging indicator light turns red; once fully charged, the red light turns off.

Reset

During the use of the device, if it fails to work normally due to improper operation or other abnormalities, it needs to be reset once.

Attention! (Safety Warnings)

  • The power cord, plug casing and other components must be checked regularly for damage. If any damage is found, stop using the product immediately until it is fully repaired.
  • The toy must not be connected to more than one 5V power supply; it can only use the recommended charger (recommended specifications: DC5V=2A).
  • The built-in 3.8V battery is removable and replaceable. If damaged, please contact customer service for repair.
  • The charger must be used under adult supervision. The charger is not a toy and must not be used by children under 3 years old.
  • Disconnect from the charger before cleaning.
  • Do not take photos directly towards the eyes when the toy's fill light is flashing, to avoid eye damage.
