Timeless Style and Engineering Excellence

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class embodies timeless style with its sweeping lines and pillarless design, offering an open-air experience in the cabriolet. Its engineering prowess is evident in features like a transmission that adapts to your driving style and a rapid, silent convertible top operation. The CLK-Class represents over a century of Mercedes-Benz dedication to the joy of driving.

Luxurious Comfort and Advanced Features

Designed to seat four comfortably, the CLK Coupe and Cabriolet offer amenities such as dual-zone climate control and optional heated front seats. The cabriolet's insulated triple-layer soft top retracts in just 17 seconds. Inside, meticulous attention to detail is showcased through leather-wrapped steering wheels and hand-polished wood trim. The available harman/kardon® LOGIC7® digital surround-sound system enhances the driving experience with up to 12 speakers and an integrated CD player. Optional SIRIUS Satellite Radio provides a wide array of channels, including news, traffic, and commercial-free music.

Convenience features include power-adjustable front seats for easy rear access and the Keyless Go system, allowing the engine to start with the brake pedal and a touch of the gearshift. The multifunction steering wheel provides control over the stereo without removing hands from the wheel. Optional COMAND and DVD-based Navigation systems offer advanced guidance and entertainment options.

Performance That Inspires

The CLK-Class is powered by a choice of three muscular engines. The 3.5-liter V-6 delivers 268 horsepower, enabling the CLK 350 Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds. The CLK 550 features a 5.5-liter, 382-horsepower V-8 engine, achieving 0 to 60 mph in 5.13 seconds for the coupe. For ultimate performance, the CLK 63 AMG is equipped with a 6.3-liter V-8 engine producing 475 horsepower, reaching 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.5 seconds. All models utilize a 7-speed automatic transmission, with AMG-specific calibration for the CLK 63, ensuring decisive power delivery.
