Quick Start Guide
Appearance
The camera features several key components accessible from its exterior:
- RESET Button: Located by tilting the camera lens upwards. Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset Wi-Fi settings, or for 10 seconds for a full factory reset.
- microSD Card Slot: Also found by tilting the lens upwards. Insert a microSD card here for local recording, initializing it via the Tapo app.
- LAN Port: Allows connection to your router using an Ethernet cable.
Front View: The front of the camera displays the lens and a speaker.
Back View: The back of the camera houses the microSD card slot, RESET button, speaker, LAN port, and Power port.

Safety Information
Please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity, or hot environments.
- Do not use a damaged charger or USB cable.
- Use only recommended chargers.

Mounting Instructions
1. Mark Position
Place the mounting template where you want the camera. For wall mounting, drill two holes through the indicated circles (∅ 6 mm / 15/64 in.).

2. Mount Base
Affix the camera base using the screws. For wall mounting, insert two anchors into the holes first, then use the screws to secure the camera base over the anchors.

3. Secure Camera
Attach the camera onto the base and rotate it to secure.
Note: If the Pan and Tilt range requires adjustment after mounting, refer to Pan & Tilt Correction at https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/4023/.
LED Indication
LED Status | Meaning |

Solid red | Starting up |
Blinking red and green (for Wi-Fi setup) | Ready for setup |
Blinking red slowly (for Wi-Fi setup) | Connecting to Wi-Fi |
Solid amber | Connected to Wi-Fi or wired network |
Solid green | Connected to the cloud |
Blinking red quickly | Camera resetting |
Blinking green quickly | Camera updating |

Setup Guide
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD APP
Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.

STEP 2: POWER UP
Plug the adapter into the camera to power it up.

Tap the [Settings/Gear] button in the app and select your model. Follow the app instructions to complete the setup.
