Overview
GPCL-xxxLA4GN Standard
This model includes the camera unit and a cable set.

GPCL-xxxLA5GN with Strobe out sync IR LED (Option)
This model includes the camera unit and two cable sets. It features Strobe out signal and IR LED.

Strobe out signal: Active High (TTL 3.3V)
IP Installer
To view the camera on the network, an IP address must be assigned. The IP Installer Plus software, downloaded from the web page, allows users to easily search for and change the IP camera's IP address.
IP Installer Plus (v1.2.2) Interface:
- 1 SEARCH: Enables searching for IP cameras on the network and displays the list of found cameras.
- 2 ALL CLEAR: Clears the list of displayed cameras.
- 3 IP SETUP: After searching, select a camera and click "IP SETUP" to change its IP address, Gateway, and Net Mask.
- 4 WEB: Navigates to the web viewer page for the selected camera.
- 5 UPDATE: Allows firmware updates. Load firmware from the PC before updating.
- 6 FILTER: Searches for IP cameras by MAC address or IP range.
Default IP Address
The factory default IP address for the camera is:
- IP: 192.168.0.100
- SM: 255.255.255.0
- GW: 192.168.0.1
When connecting the IP camera directly to a PC, assign the PC's IP address to a number between 2 and 254, excluding "100". For example:
- IP: 192.168.0.150
- SM: 255.255.255.0
- GW: 192.168.0.1
After connection, allow the installation of ActiveX (Web Live Player software) on the PC. Refer to the following page for ActiveX installation instructions.
Available OS: XP, VISTA, WIN 7/8/10/11 (32/64bit)
Live View
ActiveX (Web Live Player) Installation:
1. Double-click the searched model in the IP Installer Plus window.
2. Click 'Live View' to start monitoring the video stream.
The video stream can be monitored live.
Web Setting
1. Click 'Admin' to access the camera's settings.
Default Login Credentials:
- User ID: root
- Password: root
Stream Setup
Settings for stream quality can be adjusted. The video quality can be different according to "Target Bitrate". The default setting is "8Mbps".

- Shutter Time Max: 1/500 (30 ~ 32000)
- Max AGC gain: 36 (Default: 36, 0 ~ 72)
- Sense Up Level: Off
- Back Light Compensation: Enable
- Auto Exposure Weight: 100% (Default: 100, 25 ~ 400)
- DOL WDR Enable: Enable
- D-WDR: 0 (Default: 0, 0 ~ 128)

Image Filter:
- Brightness: 0 (Default: 0, -255 ~ 255)

Note on 3DNR: Changing 3DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) can reduce noise. The noise can be reduced at settings between 5~11.
Night Mode Settings
To set up Night Mode:
- Select 'Night Mode' tab.
- Check 'Night' for 'Change Mode to'.
- Adjust settings as needed. For example, to reduce saturation and improve Auto Exposure Weight, set the value to less than 30.
- Click 'Apply'.
- After setting Night Mode, return to 'Default(Day)' and click 'Apply' again.
Example Adjustments for Auto Exposure Weight:
- Auto Exposure Weight: 30 (Less than 30 recommended for saturation reduction)
- Auto Exposure Weight: 50
- Auto Exposure Weight: 70
- Auto Exposure Weight: 100
RTSP Connection - VLC Media Player
The camera streams can be accessed using RTSP URLs with VLC Media Player.
Primary Streaming (h264, H265): rtsp://192.168.0.100/cam0_0
Secondary Streaming (h264, H265): rtsp://192.168.0.100/cam0_1
Tertiary Streaming (h264, H265): rtsp://192.168.0.100/cam0_2
To connect:
- Open VLC Media Player.
- Go to Media > Open Network Stream.
- Enter the RTSP URL in the "Please enter a network URL" field.
- Click 'Play'.
The video stream will be displayed.
ONVIF Device Manager
The ONVIF Device Manager allows for the management of ONVIF-compliant devices.
Login Credentials:
- ID: root
- Password: root
The manager lists devices with their firmware version, IP address, and location. It provides options for identification, time settings, maintenance, network settings, user management, certificates, relays, web page access, events, and live video streaming.
