Getting Started
This guide provides essential information for operating your Indesit IWDE12 washer dryer. Familiarize yourself with the control panel and program selection for optimal use.
Control Panel Overview
The control panel features various buttons and knobs to manage wash and drying cycles. Key elements include the Detergent dispenser, Function buttons, Drying knob, Temperature knob, On-Off/Door Lock LED, and Start/Reset button.
Starting a Wash Cycle
- Switch on the washer-dryer using the On-Off button. The On-Off/Door Lock LED will illuminate.
- Load laundry and close the appliance door securely.
- Select the desired Programme and wash temperature using the respective knobs.
- If needed, set the drying cycle.
- Add detergent and fabric softener to the dispenser.
- Press the Start/Reset button to begin the cycle. To cancel, press and hold the Start/Reset button for at least 2 seconds.
- Once the cycle is complete, the On-Off/Door Lock LED will flash, indicating the door can be opened. Remove laundry and leave the door ajar for ventilation.
- Turn off the washer-dryer by pressing the On-Off button.
Programme Table
Refer to the programme table for detailed information on fabric types, soil levels, temperature, drying options, and cycle descriptions. This table helps in selecting the most suitable program for your laundry.
Drying Options
The Indesit IWDE12 offers two drying options: time-based (40 to 150 minutes) or sensor-based, which adjusts drying time based on the dampness level of the clothes (Iron, Hanger, or Cupboard dry).
Special Functions
Explore additional functions like Delay Timer, Easy Iron, Extra Rinse, and Spin Speed adjustment to enhance your laundry experience. Each function is designed to provide convenience and better results.
