Introduction

This document provides instructions for the Michelin MPX 14E and MPX 16E high-pressure washers. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps for assembly:

  1. Attach the handle (C3) to the main unit.
  2. Connect the high-pressure hose (B5) to the unit and the trigger gun.
  3. Attach the extension lance (B2) to the trigger gun.
  4. Connect the appropriate nozzle (E) to the lance.
  5. Attach the wheels (C14) if applicable.
  6. Connect the electrical cable (B4) to a suitable power source.
  7. Ensure the water filter (L) is in place.

Operation

Starting the Unit

  1. Ensure the water tap is fully open.
  2. Release the safety lock (D) on the trigger gun.
  3. Press the trigger on the gun for a few seconds and turn the unit ON using the power switch (H).
  4. The unit will start automatically when the trigger is pressed and stop when released.

Using Detergent

  1. Fill the detergent tank (B6) with a suitable, biodegradable detergent.
  2. Attach the detergent kit (C13) and the appropriate nozzle (C2) as shown in the diagrams.
  3. Operate the unit according to the instructions for detergent application.

Stopping the Unit

  1. Turn the power switch (H) to OFF.
  2. Press the trigger on the gun to release residual pressure.
  3. Engage the safety lock (D).

Storage

  1. Close the water tap.
  2. Release residual pressure from the gun until all water is expelled.
  3. Turn the unit OFF.
  4. Unplug the electrical cable.
  5. Empty and rinse the detergent tank with clean water.
  6. Engage the safety lock (D) on the gun.
  7. Store the unit in a dry place, protected from frost.

The warranty is valid according to the legislation of the country where the product is sold. It covers defects in materials, construction, and conformity. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear parts (e.g., seals, O-rings, hoses, guns) or defects caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs, or use of non-original parts.
