The pleasing architectural appearance blends well with any environment, such as classrooms, training rooms, lecture halls, offices, retail stores, and medical facilities. The included backbox meets the ASTM E84 flame and smoke test with a three-hour burn rating.. The VIP422A shall allow a page zone extension anywhere on the network. The VIP-422A speaker output level shall be electrically adjusted during setup. Power shall be provided to the VIP-422A via a Power over an Ethernet (PoE) switch meeting the 802.3af specification. The VIP422A setup shall be done via the Valcom IP Solutions Setup Tool. The VIP-422A IP Lay-in Ceiling Speaker grille shall be constructed of steel with a white baked enamel finish. The VIP-422A shall replace a 2ft x 2ft ceiling tile. The VIP-422A shall be suitable for indoor applications. Maximum dimensions shall be 23.75in L x 23.75in W x 3.75in D (60.33cm) x (60.33cm) x(9.53cm). Weight shall be approximately 5.50lbs (2.49kg).
