NOTIFIER INSPIRE™ Series: Panel Model Overview

N16E OVERVIEW

The N16E is a single, scalable addressable life safety system. It features:

  • One part number includes enclosure, power supply, loop, CPU, and display.
  • Provision for an optional annunciator.
  • A 10" HD touchscreen display.
  • Capacity for 318 devices per loop (159 detectors/159 modules).
  • Expandable to multi-configurations.
  • A 6-Amp power supply supporting four Notification Appliance Circuits (Class A or B).
  • Synchronization with System Sensor Strobes, Wheelock, and Gentex.
  • Charging capability for 7Ah – 100Ah batteries.
  • Universal AC input.
  • Remote Annunciator support.
  • Support for Standard and High-Speed NOTI-FIRE-NET.
  • Compliance with UL 864 10th Edition.
  • Future support for Marine and Seismic applications.
  • Standard and Advanced Detection Capabilities, including Self-Test detectors.
  • Future releases planned for Releasing modules and 4-20mA modules.

N16X OVERVIEW

The N16X is a scalable addressable life safety system with chassis-mounted CPU and power supply. Key features include:

  • 318 devices per loop (159 detectors/159 modules), expandable up to ten loops for 3180 total devices.
  • A 10" HD touchscreen display or an option for no display.
  • Configurable 6 Amp power supply providing 6 amps total power for System, Loop, and NAC's, expandable to a total of 3 power supplies.

The N16e offers enhanced flexibility in a compact design:

  • Includes enclosure, display, CPU, loop card, and power supply pre-installed from the factory.
  • Features an optional cutout in the dress panel for ACM-30.
  • Allows for two additional cards to be stacked to the right of the power supply, such as a Loop Card and a Network Card.

The CAB-5 Series offers differences compared to the CAB-4 Series:

  • Dimensions:
    • CAB-4 Series: SBB-A4 (13.9"H), SBB-B4 (28.5"H), SBB-C4 (37.125"H), SBB-D4 (45.75"H)
    • CAB-5 Series: SBB-A5 (20.31"H), SBB-B5 (29.88"H), SBB-C5 (34.44"H), SBB-D5 (49.00"H), SBB-E5 (58.56"H)
  • Slot and anchor for chassis.
  • Rows 1, 2, and 3 stud spacing allows for audio chassis.

  • CPU-N16LND:
    • N16 CPU, PMB-AUX, and SLC Card.
    • Supports up to 6 cards.
    • CPU provides CLP Bus and AIO Bus.
  • CPU-N16LD:
    • N16 CPU, PMB-AUX, Display, and SLC Card.
    • Supports up to 6 cards.
    • CPU provides CLP Bus and AIO Bus.
  • PMB-AUX:
    • Power Supply (includes 4 NAC circuits).
    • Supports Zone Coding (enabled via license).
    • Supports up to 6 cards.
    • Connects to CLP Bus (up to 3 max directly connected).
  • CHS-ADP:
    • CAB-5 to CAB-4 Adaptor Plate for mounting CAB-4 Chassis in CAB-5 Panel.
    • Supports CHS-6, CHS-4, CHS-4L, DAA2, etc.
    • Currently, ACPS-610 is not supported.

    • DVC Chassis with Microphone Well.
    • Supports optional TELH-1 in the same single-row well.
    • Features 2 hidden card mounting locations.
    • Set for Row 2, adjustable for Rows 1 or 3.

Various dress panels are available for configuration:

  • DP-T2A: Mounts a 10" Touchscreen display and 2 ACM-30 annunciators.
  • DPA-C5: Opening for DVC-KDB and microphone well. For use with C5A-M. (Note: DVC-KDB is used for the INSPIRE panel).
  • DPA-2A5: Opening for DVC-KDB and mounts 2 ACM-30 annunciators. For use with the C5A-NW.
  • DPA-4A: Mounts 4 INSPIRE annunciators.
  • DP-BLN: Blank Dress Panel.
  • BP-5: CAB-5 Battery Cover, includes required labeling.

  • DP-T2A-CB4: Same as DP-T2A for use with CAB-4 Series backbox.
  • DP-4A-CB4: Same as DP-4A for use with CAB-4 Series backbox.

Annunciator options and features:

    • 30 Programmable capacitive touch control points.
    • 60 Programmable Multi-colored LEDs.
    • Does not fit in CAB-4 style annunciator openings.
    • Supports up to 80 Annunciators maximum per FACP.
    • Addressable from 1-10 for Routers (using wire).
    • Supports up to 15 Peripherals per Router (using jumpers).
    • ACM-30CBL Jumper kit available (includes 1 long and 4 short AIO bus cables).
  • ABP-1:
    • Covers unused INSPIRE annunciator openings.
    • Limited support for cards mounted on the back.
    • Does not support HIGH-SPEED network cards.
  • Compatible Dress Panels: DP-T2A, DPA-2A5, DP-4A, DP-4A-CB4, DP-T2A-CB4.

  • Provides 1 SLC supporting up to 318 Devices.
  • Capacity for up to 159 Modules and 159 Detectors.

    • Accessories: 50160636-001 (30" NUP Cable and Notifier lock/key), 32351718-001 (10' NUP Cable).
  • CHS-CGW:
    • Order HON-CGW-MBB to receive the Gateway card.
    • Mounts CLSS Gateway on INSPIRE compatible chassis.
    • Must be the far right and top card.
    • Only for WIRED communications.
  • CGW-DACT-NF:
    • POTS Dialer with universal chassis.
    • Right-front mounting only.
    • Requires 2 Cards deep.

    • Fiber connectivity via LC Connectors.
    • Can be used as signal repeaters.
  • NCM-x Standard Speed Networking:
    • Supports up to 103 Nodes (54 with DVC Live Paging).
    • Available in 2 board layouts.
    • Supports Wire and Multi-mode fiber optic cable.
    • Fiber optic connectivity via ST Connectors.
    • Use RPT-W, RPT-WF, or RPT-F as signal repeaters.

    • Small remote location display.
