Notes
⚠️ Important Safety Information:
- Do not look directly at the laser beam or illuminate with an instrument (telescope).
- Do not remove the baffle on the lens guard and avoid exposure to the eyes.
- Please work with professional staff for disassembly, adjustment, or repair.
- Do not disassemble, impact, squeeze, or expose to fire or water. If there is serious bulging, do not continue to use. Do not store at high temperatures.
Reading Skills
To achieve optimal reading performance:
- Aim the target beam projected by the viewfinder at the center of the barcode. The beam can be aimed in any direction for reading.
- Press the trigger to align the target beam with the middle of the barcode.
- The beam size adjusts with distance: it becomes smaller when closer to the barcode and larger when farther away.
- For small barcodes, position the scanner close to the barcode. For larger barcodes, position it farther away for easier and more accurate reading.
- If the barcode has high reflectance (e.g., coated), tilt the scanner at an angle to successfully scan it.
Simple Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures scanner longevity:
- Stains and dust on the scan window can affect scanner performance. Clean gently with high-quality facial tissue. Afterward, blow it clean with an inflated balloon. Using poor-quality paper for extended periods may damage the scan window surface and affect reading performance.
- Wipe the scanner casing with a clean, soft cloth. If necessary, use a small amount of mild detergent mixed with water and rub with a soft cloth.
