The Motability Scheme
Volkswagen is committed to inclusivity and offers several models through the Motability Scheme. This scheme enables individuals who qualify for a government-funded mobility allowance to use it to fund the lease of a brand-new Volkswagen vehicle.
Scheme Benefits:
- A 3-year lease of a new Volkswagen.
- A 60,000-mile allowance over three years.
- Includes insurance with up to three named drivers.
- Includes servicing, maintenance, and replacement tyres.
- Includes accident and breakdown cover.
- For ID. electric vehicles, the cost of a home charger installation is covered, or access to the BP pulse public charging network is provided.
- All the benefits of a Volkswagen vehicle.
Do I Qualify?
To qualify, you must be in receipt of one of the following government-funded mobility allowances with at least 12 months of allowance remaining:
- The Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- The Higher Rate Mobility Part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- The War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

This price list details available Volkswagens on the Scheme, including the Advanced Payment (AP) – a one-off payment required at the start of the lease – and the weekly rental. Some vehicles may use your entire weekly mobility allowance, indicated as 'Total Allowance' (TA). Others will deduct the amount shown from your allowance, leaving a remainder.

Customers ordering a new electric vehicle between 1 July 2024 and 30 September 2025 are eligible for OVO's "Charge Anytime" tariff, offering a lower rate of 7p per kWh at any time. This offer includes up to 10,000 free miles for the first year, followed by up to 1,000 free miles on each contract anniversary for the subsequent three years. Charge Anytime 10,000 Free Miles Offer:
Open to new or existing UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland, 18+) of OVO Energy who purchase a brand new fully electric vehicle from a VWG dealership between 1 July 2024 and 30 September 2025 and activate OVO Energy's 'Charge Anytime'. Activation requires a compatible EV charger or electric vehicle. Terms and conditions apply to 'Charge Anytime'. Offer applies to new vehicles only, domestic charging only, and is valid for Retail, Motability, and Local Business customers. Offer subject to availability.
Customers receive a £212.12 credit on their OVO Energy account within 60 days of signing up for 'Charge Anytime'. For each year remaining on 'Charge Anytime' on the contract anniversary, a £21.21 credit (equivalent to 1,000 free miles) will be provided for a maximum of three years. Mileage calculations are based on an average efficiency of 3.3 miles per kWh across the Volkswagen Group model range, which may vary for individual models and real-world driving conditions. Open to new or existing GB residents (18+, excluding Northern Ireland) of OVO Energy. This offer allows non-EV drivers to "bank" free miles monthly, redeemable upon purchasing a qualifying electric vehicle and activating OVO Energy's 'Charge Anytime'. Participants must download the OVO App and activate OVO Beyond and EV Reward Offer. Customers can bank up to 100 miles per month for a maximum of 24 months (total 2,400 free miles). Volkswagen purchases after 1 July 2024 award up to an additional 50 miles for every 100 miles banked. Banked mileage is redeemed as a monetary credit to the 'Charge Anytime' account within 90 days of activation. Banked mileage must be redeemed within 3 years of the 24-month accrual period. Activation of 'Charge Anytime' requires a compatible EV charger or electric vehicle. Terms and conditions apply to 'Beyond EV Reward' and 'Charge Anytime'.
